Alternate cover edition of: ASIN B00EUDPPGM

Special Agent Cassie Becker has taken on every kind of situation you could think of in her decade with the FBI, but waking up in a Sacramento desert 150 years in the past is a whole new one. Gunless, badgeless and displaced in time, she has to use her considerable wits to fly under the radar of an over-inquisitive Sheriff, while solving the mystery of how she got there so that she can close the case and get home.

Sheriff Brendan Taylor knows there is something odd about the beautiful woman who blows into town guns blazing, and it isn’t just that she’s got amnesia. She’s smart, ballsy and completely crazy, and damned if she doesn’t show up at every one of his crime scenes armed and ready.

But she’s not the only time traveller in 1853, and if the Agent and the Sheriff can’t find a way to see past their differences and attractions, neither of them will get justice - in any time.

I really, really enjoyed this book. I loved time-travel, and this one was done particularly well. Usually the heroine stumbles into a portal or picks up an artifact, but the author went a different route here that added more conflict and was unique, setting this book apart from others in the genre. I loved the heroine;she was a bad-ass without being overly snarky or making stupid decisions based on overconfidence. The hero was realistic, and I appreciated that the romance was slow to develop, making the conclusion much more satisfying. I hope that these characters will be featured in another book, and I will look for more from this author.

Justice for All Time by Kit Cole is a 2013 publication. I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Cassandra Becker ( Cassie) is an FBI agent in the year 2013. But, when she comes to in a cave, she is no longer in Washington, she is in California and she is no longer in 2013 either. Instead, she is in the 1800's.
After witnessing a horrible scene involving a Savage attack and a flaming stagecoach, Cassie save a deputy's life. Needless to say she causes a bit of an uproar as she is dressed in jeans and not too many women in the 1800's are sharp shooters. Here there is no FBI, no Quantico and women don't carry badges.

Cassie must adjust to her new life and try to find a way back to her own time. In such a small community, the men notice the cute brunette right off and Cassie finds she has several interested parties. One of which is a Captain and the other a Sherriff.

A curious white box and a bracelet hold clues to how Cassie can get back to her old life. But, someone is on to her secret and will do anything, even commit murder, to get their hands on the white box and bracelet.
There is also another time traveler in the mist but u1ually Cassie is the only one that can see him and he is not all that helpful, insisting she turn the bracelet over to him.

While Cassie works out how she is going to get home, she is courted, romanced, kidnapped and falls into a lot trouble.
But, more than anything she wants to go back to her life in 2013. Will she make it back to her own time? Will she be able to leave behind the one man that gotten closer to her than any other man?

This novel is really interesting time travel romance. There are some really sweet moments between Cassie and her two suitors and also really funny moments. Cassie's language and dress and abilities have the people who have gotten to know her thinking maybe Cassie has some kind of mental health problems on top of not being able to remember who she is.

This book is packed with science fiction elements, old fashioned romance, a murder mystery, and the author is nice enough to tie it all up in the end with the possibility that Cassie will be able to live a most interesting life and maybe we will be able to join her again someday for more adventures.
I enjoyed the book and would recommend it to time travel romance lovers, but also to those that like western settings, science fiction, as well as crime novels and mysteries.
Overall this one gets an A.

This was a very unique storyline. It’s part romance, part western, part fantasy, part mystery and murder. We meet Special Agent Cassie Becker when she wakes up in a cave in Sacramento having been transported 160 years into the past. She has to solve the mystery of how she got there. But in order to do that she has to fit into the culture of the time, which isn’t easy to do as an independent, gun-slinging FBI agent. After all, women in those days were seen as fragile and dependent on their men.

Although this book is kind of a western, with horses and Sheriffs and saloons, it doesn’t really feel like a western. When I started reading it, and then realized it was going to be a western (given the year she travelled back to) I wasn’t sure I wanted to continue reading it because I wasn’t in the mood for a western. However, the storyline was so interesting, I kept going, and I’m glad I did.

This novel is filled with a lot of twists and turns and the conclusion I thought the book was going to come to wasn’t what actually happened (I won’t spoil the book for you by telling you what actually did happen).

There was some swearing in the book (mainly kept to the word “hell”) and a few bedroom scenes that were not explicit).

I enjoyed the uniqueness of the storyline however, and the character development was pretty good. I think this book was a good foundation for any sequels that will follow.

I gave this book 4 stars.

Justice for all Time a time travel romance by Kit Cole

Jane Hunt Writer First Steps

Justice for all Time is an interesting time travel romance and historical western full of suspense. The author weaves the historical and mystery plot elements seamlessly with the time travel theme and maintains the story's impetus.

Cassie is a FBI special agent who wakes up in a cave and can't remember how she got there. She manages to escape but finds herself in 1853 Frontier America a witness to a battle scene reminiscent of classic westerns. Rational minded Cassie believes she has stumbled onto a film set. When people die she realises it isn't make-believe but her new reality. You experience Cassie's thoughts and emotions as she copes with her incarceration over 150 years in the past.

Brendan the sheriff is a nineteenth century man who becomes Cassie's nemesis from their first meeting. An unwilling romance develops between Brendan and Cassie full of humour and denial until the sensual tension between the couple forces them together and leads the story into a different dimension. The sweet romance lightens the darker elements of the story.

This character driven romance is an easy read and the perfect escape for an afternoon.

“Justice for all Time” by Kit Cole is a time travel romance for this century, with a strong-willed female lead whose career as an FBI Agent makes her stand out even more from her 1853 counterparts than the aberrant clothing choices and lack of kitchen skills seen in the female leads of other time travel romances. The story itself keeps the reader wondering from the opening scenes with our confused heroine throughout the entire tale with plot twists and characters that continue to develop and grow.
A true romance for the reader who prefers to use their imagination with intimate scenes that, as my family terms it, “end at the bedroom door” making it a charming read for even teenage readers. From the mystery of how Cassie has arrived in 1853 to a love triangle to a murder that’s a mystery to the main characters, “Justice for all Time” has a little bit of everything, including the happy ending the reader hopes for but with a delightful surprising twist – That moved this fully from four to five stars and left me wanting to know what’s next.

This was an excellent surprise, I enjoyed it tremendously. The pacing was great, the romance was subdued and the time travel was pretty darn unique. The length of the book seemed perfect and I don't think I rolled my eyes even once at anything stupid in the plot or characters (because there wasn't anything stupid or too predictable). I recommend this book!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book

Really enjoyed this book where FBI agent Cassie is transported back in time to the wild wild west. Using her detective skills and with the help of Doc she tries to exonerate the Sheriff of murder, while at the same time tries to return home.

Such an enthralling read, this book kept my full attention (to my family's dismay) to the end. It had a little bit of everything, which I thought would be overwhelming at first, but it was perfect. The heroine was strong, logical, intelligent and the hero was perfect for her.

I got this novel from the author for my honest opinion.

I'm not a fan of westerns but I got to admit, this was a really well written novel I enjoyed.

It starts off present time where Cassie is an FBI agent. Then she found a cave who is a porthole to the 1800.

She witness an attack saving a deputy's life and that's how her new life begin. It comes with all strange and funny experiences as the 1800 don't have woman wearing slacks or being members of the force. There is no FBI and some even think she's metal because of her accent.

There is also two officers, one a captain the other a sheriff, who battle for her affection.

I really loved all the characters, even the time period and think this novel was really entertaining.

I would recommend this to everyone.

Original story....

most time travel stories Have a distinct story line such as the main character does not know how they ended up in the past and therefore need to find out how. This story surprisingly had a different outcome as to how the person in the past unlike most of the other time travel stories I have encountered, which makes story even more enjoyable. Very well-thought-out storyline which actually converts into two or three storylines as the story progresses. Well-built characters who are well liked characters made this story very enjoyable to read.

An intelligent protagonist is always a fun read in a romance novel, and FBI agent Becker fits the bill. I enjoy the mysteries she takes on while struggling to get home to the present day, and the relationships she builds while in the past. Everything I love about time-travel romance stories is in this book, and I look forward to more from Kit Cole.

What a great story. I throughly enjoyed the ‘fish out of water’ premise and the Time Travel ‘device’ that sent Special Agent Becker back to the past.
Just a couple of things that didn’t ring true for me.
The author mentions Glock, revolver, Glock ‘safety’ and ‘opening the cylinder to check for ammo’ interchangeably when he mention the duty weapon that Agent Becker carrys/carried when she wakes up in the past.
Glock is a semi-automatic pistol, not a revolver. There is no ‘safety’ on a Glock pistol or a Revolver by the way.
The Glock is a magazine-fed weapon and has no ‘cylinder’ to check for ammo.
Other than those minor ‘bits’ I throughly enjoyed the book.
Loved how the author inserted the dialogue that ‘what are you, some kind of lady gunslinger?” [see Claire Whitcomb Trilogy by D. V. Berkom].
Loved the old West world building when she distantly remembers living and working in DC as an FBI agent and suddenly she’s Now in a little town near Sacramento, CA.
Well done.

I am sorry, could not even finish the book. If you are going to write a historical novel, you need to do at least the minimum of research. She is wearing jeans which the author implies fits the time 1853, but Levis are made in 1873. She picks up a Colt 45 which was 1870, They plan to telegraph from Los Angles to Sacramento months before it is completed. Furthermore, she is in a cave near the top of a hill which is dripping water in a desert (really). Sorry, just can't read poor work from a writer.

Thoroughly enjoyed this particular time travel. A good mystery, funny and very well written. Apart from few typos and errors here and there( didn't bother too much as I still could follow the story) the plot was fast paced and different from the usual time travel. Would love to read more from this author.

Amazing!

I was completely absorbed in this book from the beginning. I was slightly disappointed with the lack of steamy scenes but the story itself makes up for that 100%. This book is definitely a keeper!

Good story.

Good story. I enjoyed it. Only problem is that it really needs proofreading and editing. There are quite a few errors that could use to be corrected.

Justice for all Time: a time travel romance by Kit Cole is the story of a women, Cassie Becker, who finds herself not in 2013, but in 1853. Cassie must put her Special Agent skills to the test and solve this mystery. Will she let go of the past or move forward to her own time?

Cassie’s love interest is the local Sheriff, Brendan, of the old town of Sacramento. Cassie makes a lot of new friends and some enemies. There’s also this “future boy” Cassie must convince to help her return home.

This was a surprisingly good read. I am often skeptical about romance novels, and I was apprehensive about this time travel one. I do like historical novels, though.

There’s a love triangle which is always good at creating drama. Cassie has enemies, but she is a strong female character. So I enjoyed the plot.

The characters are all interesting and the story is well written. The pace is nice and steady. The book has a lot of elements so it’ll appeal to readers who love romance, crime, mystery, time travel, a strong female, and history. If you’re into series, the ending is open leaving room for more books based on these characters.
