Decrees, Declares, & Prayers is a great devotional. Unlike your typical devotional the passages in this book aren't designed to be read quietly but to be proudly declared out loud, daily.
Opening with a darling photo of a child's mouth, and this quote from Proverbs 18:21: "The tongue has the power of life and death", the author gently pushes the reader to not only think like a Christian, but to speak like one, too!
I love this book. I read it through from beginning to end the day I received my copy. It now sits by my bed, next to my Bible, so that I can read a passage or two daily, as part of my morning routine. It helps prepare my mind and my words for the day ahead.
