Three lonely souls find each other and the cure to a disease ravaging the witching community on All Hallows Eve. Taking a break from finding the cure for a magic sickness killing witches, Evangeline Evie Parker picks up Drew for a night of hot sex. One night is not enough, however. In a strange twist of fate, Trent, Drew s partner, also comes into Evie s life. One night is definitely not enough when two become three. As they come together, they realise that while separately they are good, together they are great. All Hallows Eve is the time when the cure to the magic sickness is predicted to make itself known. Combining magic and sex on that special night cures more than the magic sickness afflicting the witch community, it also cures three lonely hearts."
When I am not writing, I sing in the shower- terribly, inadvertently kill all the flowers I plant and shop for high end shoes at bargain prices on the internet. I love dogs although both of mine have long since gone to doggy heaven. I read lots of books in a variety of genres. I make fun of the news and reality TV. I think chocolate should be on the food pyramid as its own category. Dirty martinis are my preferred drink. I think good friends and good conversation over a good meal is the ideal way to spend any free time. I'm not human until and unless I have had my first cup of coffee. And last but not least, I always try to buy flowers for my hotel rooms because it just makes it feel more like home.
This was a really good story that I wished was longer. Taking a break from finding the cure for a magic sickness killing witches, Evangeline "Evie" Parker picks up Drew for a night of hot sex. When she meets Drew she realized that one night is not enough enter Trent Drew's partner and she really knows that one night is not enough. The sex scene's are super hot Evie is a lucky girl two hot hunks. This book has a very nice plot that draws you in from start to finish. The book is also well edited and well written. If you are like me and like paranormal with hot sexy romances then you will like this book like I do. This was a new author to me and I enjoyed this book very much and I can't wait to read the next one. I was given this book for an honest review.
Really yummy little ménage read. I am all for a couple hotties and a snarky gal! Evie, Drew and Trent are smoking hot together!! Oh, la, the steam factor here is all about the foreplay!!! I girl just can't get enough of that!
The story is really interesting but it falls a little flat at times. That could be because it is all written from the heroine's POV, it might have been nice to get some insight for the guys as well.
This is a new author for me and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next. Really interesting and engaging characters made this story flow. The pace was a little inconsistent, speeding though some parts and dragging at others. Overall an enjoyable read that left me hungry for more. Is it too much to hope for a Ellie, Lucian and Rory follow-up? There are still loose threads.
*Disclosure- I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review. All thoughts, opinions and ratings are my own.*
Paranormal/fantasy menage! We have witches and even the introduction of a Vampire Lord (but he is not part of the menage) in the this Novella. Someone is infecting witches and causing them to die or have to be put down. The Coven has Evie trying to find a cure to stop this illness. She needs a night of pleasure and goes to a convention and meets Drew and they have a night of hot sex. Next day she goes home and her Grandmother and Sarah from the Coven comes to see her and brings Trent. Turns out Drew and Trent are business partners and also witches. Evie's baby sister, a Guardian, becomes infected making finding the cure even more important. The story flows well most of the time, a few times Evie seems to ramble a bit and become repetitive. The sex scenes are hot and well defined and are definitely a 5 star scenes. I loved the story but felt it ended so abruptly that you feel like you were cheated. If this is a series, no mention at the end of a next book, making you feel like you just stepped off a cliff without a parachute.
