When a Greek goddess lands in modern times there’s bound to be trouble.
Banished from her home in Olympus and trapped in modern day Australia, Terpsichore does her best to fit in, but when she is mistaken for a prostitute she needs the services of straight- laced solicitor James Barrington to help.
James Barrington is a man on a fast track to a stellar legal career. Being involved with a pole dancing tango teacher is not part of the plan.
Together they fight an unknown stalker, a Titan rebel and a journey through the Underworld but can they find each other on the way?
Maggie Mitchell lives in her dream place by the sea. Of course, sometimes she even gets the dreams written down in a story. Lucky for her she has a musician for a husband who understands the creative spirit. In her other life she’s a nurse educator who manages Learning & Development for a large private hospital. When she’s not working, you’ll find her out on her balcony enjoying a glass of Moscato or a cappuccino made on her beloved espresso machine.
Terpsichore, the muse of dance, goddess, and daughter of Zeus; also known in the mortal world as Corey. Corey is a goddess who found herself place into the mortal world in Sydney, Australia. All of Zeus' daughter's were placed with in the mortal world at different locations with no return to Olympus in sight. Corey found herself fitting in among the mortals. She opened a dance studio and even danced at a club called The Cave. Everything was going great until one night she found herself in some legal troubles. A Lawyer also known as a solicitor named James helped Corey put her legal troubles behind him, but not without Corey and James feeling a strong pull towards each other. Meanwhile Zeus' enemy Prometheus found Terpsichore and vowed to take revenge out on her to get to Zeus. Even though Terpsichore's loyal friend Eros tried to warn and protect Terpsichore Prometheus was one step ahead. WIth Corey/Terpsichore being in danger James is the only one who is able to help her. Eros enlists James for help as they try to save Terpsichore from the Underworld. But will they be too late and if they aren't can they even return to Olympus or Sydney? Maggie Mitchell takes in to many different levels in this book "Chasing Terpsichore." Between the history, danger, love, and sexual chemistry for James and Corey it's very difficult not to get involved with the God and Goddess history. Chasing Terpsichore is an interesting and great read.
I really enjoyed this story a Goddess Terpsichore Corey as she is known to her mortal friends is sent to Sydney by Hera and she learns to fend for herself and realizes watch a selfish person she can be but there is evil after her, in steps Sydney lawyer James and the chemistry between them is hot and sparks fly, Eros joins in to help with the bad guy. But love is true to form and James and Corey have a wonderful HEA such a great read.
This book is so good, I recommend it to anyone who likes reading romances!!! It is the story of Terpsichore the Muse of Dance. She gets sent from Mt. Olympus by her mother Hera. She is currently in present day Sydney, Australia running a dance studio and dancing in a club in her off time. She get arrested for prostitution because some little boy she rejected wants some revenge. One of her students talks to her boss, a lawyer, and that is how James and "Corey" meet. I am sure that is all "Corey" needed in her life at the time, but to top it off Prometheus is back and wanting revenge on Zeus. He figures if he finds all three Muses, he will get his revenge. The only problem is that no one knows where the other two Muses are, including "Corey". Chaos ensues and you are taken to both the realm of Hades and Mt. Olympus in this novel.
If you are a fan of Greek Mythology, romance and great sex scenes, read this book, you will be glad you did!!
