VERY GOOD: The characteristics of a 4 star book include: a great story; I loved the characters; and there was an interesting plot and unique story elements; there may have been a few odd things kept the story from being amazing. I would read it again and I would recommend it to a friend.

My Thoughts:
And the story of Paige and Nick continues in part 2 of the My-Sir series. This story, as was the first, is a quick but intense read. Nick and Paige put their emotions out there for the reader to see and feel. This book is a more progressive look into the couple's relationship -- they are together and happy and exploring potential clubs for their use. The visit Club Eros on two occasions and neither are without incident. The second incident introduces a new character into the series -- Janice. Needless to say, Janice will never be on Paige's BFF list but it was nice to see how Nick dealt with her in front of Paige.

The series is definitely evolving nicely. Although the story moves very fast, Pierce does a great job pulling the reader into the story.

The story starts off with Paige and Nickolas in a bdsm club (Eros) looking around. They have been looking for a club to The chemistry they have together is awesome and so is the sex they share. he collars her as his own . Then when they go to the club Nickolas has a run in with an ex sub and she makes a scene in front of everyone including paige. I have a strong feeling this chic is whacked out of her mind and could be trouble we shall see.
The scenes in club where hot and so was the sex. It was a short read but it keeps you wanting more. Cant wait to see what happens next to this couple.

There is no such thing as just one way to build a loving D/s relationship. Each relationship is as different as the Dominant and submissive involved. The one constant in all healthy D/s relationships, is mutual respect and trust. Nicolas and Paige have the respect and trust thing nailed. 

'Lock and Key' continues the journey of Nicolas and Paige as they define the boundaries of their unique D/s relationship. The first book in the series, 'The Contract', set the terms of their relationship. Now in 'Lock and Key' they're taking it to the next level, Nicolas gives her his collar.

I really like this series and the two characters. Nicolas isn't a perfect Dom, by his own admission he is flawed, but he cherishes the gift of Paige's submission. He's willing to meet Paige halfway and modify some of his traditional views of a D/s relationship to make Paige happy.

OMG, Paige is feisty and stubborn too, but she adores her-Sir. She is a petite bundle of dynamite and her spunk is incredibly sexy. In other words, she's a brat, but she's His-brat. Nicolas is her soul mate and the only man she would ever consider submitting to.

I enjoyed this book immensely. It is a quick read, but the character development is excellent and the sex scenes are sizzling. Now I'm going to read the third book in the series - 'One Night of Control'. I can't wait to see what kind of mischief Paige will get into.
