Amazon search for book, last in trilogy
This was the 3rd and final book in the No Room in Hell trilogy. I was so glad to see this come to an end. I like the way there was a story to tell with an ending. Some series, especially zombie books, seem to never end.
The author plunged right into this last story. He had a lot of little stories left that he obviously wanted to include in this novel. He got through those and right back to the main story.
**SPOILER**I really liked the way the author brought those characters (at the end) together. Did Andy know about the civilization where he might get help? And Steve, he immediately noticed the difference, right. He was so accustomed to shooting zombies, why wasn't Andy just another one. I believe Dufy wanted to show that with every thing this leader had been through, he still could recognize even traces of humanity.
I liked this series and novel a lot. I give this book 4 stars

Another Good One
Very good. I really enjoyed this series and hated to see it end. Looking forward to reading more books by Luke. I've been reading apocalypse books for a couple of years now and this is the first one that had me in tears at the end!!

Not a bad end for the series. Like the other books, a good read for a rainy evening in. A few complaints- a lot more could have been done with the antagonist in the book and it would have added more spice. Also, there were a lot of characters- I didn't feel any real connection to the majority of people who died. Even Johnny Boots wasn't well used in this book, and his perspective would have made the book more interesting.

Nice ending to the trilogy. Read in one sitting, would be nice if the author fleshed out the story of Steve and the survivors more. From the first book in the series to this final book, Luke Duffy has really improve his storytelling style. Looking forward to reading more of his work.

I’m waiting for more!!!! I keep looking for more of his work but he has been writing children’s books. Slightly different I’d say!

Andy was my favorite character and, when you consider the way most of the others acted toward each other at one time or another in this story, he was the best at keeping his humanity.

I’ll just sum up all 3 books with one review. I loved them. I first read this trilogy 11? Years ago, and I’ve read 100’s of books since. So returning to this universe was refreshing. I had forgotten enough, with the exception of Andy , that it felt like a new read to me. But better this time around. I felt more attached to the characters and their struggles to survive and their sacrifices for one another. It had a bit of everything that I enjoy in a story. Humor, violence, love, good guys and bad ones. The military and the brotherhood that they share as well. But most of all there was Andy. I’ve read tones of zombie apocalypse books and Andy is the only character that became infected but also self aware that I have ever read about. Reading about his evolution throughout the trilogy was sad yet beautiful at the same time. He knew what he was, and on some conscience level he fought it. When he met Molly, she gave him hope and a purpose to go on. He loved her and protected her, as she did with him, twisted as that sounds. Their friendship worked, until the end. I would recommend this trilogy, as well as the other one that Luke Duffy wrote that’s set in this same universe. I’m all about how well a character is written, and there are some amazing, funny, scary and down right crazy people in this trilogy.

Engrossing Read, Very Sad Ending
This was a great book, keeps you hooked from page one. Intelligent storyline, characters, and dialogue. Because of the richness of the story, the book seems much longer than the page count portrays.
There's also an interesting spin surrounding one zombie that's different than most books within the genre.
I guess it's a spoiler, but the ending was sad. Kind of wrecked the rest of the book for me. If I'd have known the book would end the way it did, I'd have skipped reading it entirely.
If the author's intent was aimed at getting readers to feel emotions - it worked. Just not emotions I wish to feel when finishing an otherwise great book.
