In part 2 the plot escalated to the point of becoming a soap opera.

Although the phrase “Less Is More” was said a lot of times throughout the story, the author did not apply it to this part.

"I received a complimentary copy of this book and have volunteered to leave a review."

How is it possible two fully broken souls to keep so much love inside of them? Lisa Shelby, one of the most hopeless romantic authors I have ever met, brings to life an unforgettable, poignant romantic tale. The finale of Gorgeous Duet is a praise of great love and adoration. Just how love is actually meant to be...

If the ending of the first book had ripped my heart then the beginning of the second one has completely shattered it. Olivia Adams is once again alone, lost and devastated after Ronan unexpectedly abandoned her. When she decided to move forward she discovers that Roman never left her. He was her guardian from afar, protecting her from Dickey's loath. Once Olivia and Ronan were back together it was like no separation had passed between them. He loved and worshipped her and so did she. But Dickey's presence never lessened. His final strike shoved them apart once again, putting in jeopardy Olivia's life and her possible future with Ronan.

I adored every word of this story! Roman's poetic words about his love for Olivia, warmed my heart to the highest points. I find Roman to be one of the ultimate male heroes of romance genres. While he oozes confidence and power, he is a troubled, sentimental man who is unfathomable in love with one heck of a woman. Wish he hadn't been so dramatic tho. Olivia's temperament and personality is outstanding. Strong, independent, stubborn...sassy. The author drawn Olivia's role in perfection. I couldn't like seeing her else what for that matter.

The conclusion of Gorgeous Duet involves everything. Angst, drama, emotional blows and a strong, undeniable love. The intensity of emotions and the intimate scenes between Olivia and Ronan were perfectly written, once again, by the author. She indeed wanted the actions of Olivia's and Ronan's to have a greater impact than their words. Also, Lisa's Shelby versatile talent shows it's worth on the action-packed scenes which were downright gripping and suspenseful. I was hooked and totally invested in the outcome of Olivia's and Roman's story and, yet again, the storyline surpassed all my expectations. Wish Gorgeous #2 Lisa Shelby delivers her most addictive suspense to date. Until next time, enjoy your free time reading great books with the most unforgettable stories.

Thank you Lisa Shelby for letting Ronan and Olivia share their moon with me! This one was absolutely perfect and left me in complete awe!
Book 2 picks up right where book 1 leaves off. So if you haven't read book 1, stop here. Go read book 1 and then come back. This duet is now one of my all time favorite reads ever. It is sweet, angsty, sexy, and all kinds of swoony. This one left me with a book hangover that I doubt I will get over anytime soon.
Once again Shelby reeled me in and kept me completely immersed in this amazing story. This one had me twisted into knots with so many emotions and I loved every single second of it! Shelby just keeps getting better and better and I can't get enough!

The story moved a little fast and could have used more detail and depth, but it still finished out the duet strong. I really loved the characters and the story was good. I look forward to more from Lisa Shelby

Gah...

Perfect...Perfect...Perfect...

Lisa Shelby, just when I thought things couldn’t get better the intensity in Gorgeous went off the charts!!! The drama, angst, suspense, romance, the sassy girl and hot @ss billionaire continue in Book two with lots of WTF moments. Like seriously I was talking to myself throughout this book - there were parts that honestly shocked me and I didn’t see coming.

Gorgeous -Book two starts where book one left off and my heart was torn into pieces. I can’t even go there with my real feelings on something’s because it would give too much away. Just know some people were on my $hit list and my heart broke for all involved. I was in an emotional state of ups and downs and holding my breathe at points. Oh the anxiety...

I truly love Ronan and Olivia together. The connection that the two of them have is undeniable. Lisa Shelby. I could feel the love , devotion, heartache and every emotion in the book. Gorgeous book one and two destroyed me. I couldn’t get enough. The story had everything I love in a book and I couldn’t put either down. Gorgeous is a definite must read!!!

Amazing conclusion!!

Gorgeous: Book Two picks up right where Part One left off and we are shredded from Ronan's breakup with Olivia. Things aren't always as they seem though and we get some much needed answers pretty quickly. So much happens and some things are revealed that will leave you in shock. I kind of saw the one reveal coming, but others may not. A wild ride with some suspense and lots of love. Amazing conclusion to this duet.

Ronan and Olivia fought hard to keep the nightmares away, but they've lost that fight. Trouble is coming for them and it's going to hit them hard. Ronan has been blackmailed by his ex-girlfriend, London, and his only thought is to keep Olivia safe. London is a famous actress and is used to living life among the rich and famous. She and Ronan have always been pushed to get together by their families, so they can merge two powerful families. Ronan can't stand London and she's very angry about not getting her way. Even more secrets are hiding in the shadows. What will Ronan do when they inevitably come out?

Olivia has lost everything she worked so hard for. She gave herself room to grieve and now the time has come to pick up the pieces. She's noticed that someone on a motorcycle keeps driving by and she constantly sees the same faces when so goes through her daily routine. After a run in the park she knows without a doubt that someone has been following her and she's determined to find out who it is. Many years have gone by since she felt safe, but she's determined not to be scared off this time. Is Olivia ready to face the man who killed her father?

Ronan has been so scared for Olivia that he made some wrong choices. He often goes to the only place where he can fully be himself and has placed cameras near Olivia, because he needs to make sure that she's safe. She's his moon, his heart, his everything. Ronan is a sensitive man and I loved the fact that he doesn't feel the need to hide his true feelings. Olivia is such a sweetheart. She takes care of everybody, but doesn't look out for herself. She's feisty and is a force to be reckoned with. I loved to read about their individual journeys and was especially impressed by the way they overcome their greatest fears.

Gorgeous book two continues with Ronan and Olivia's story after the open ending of book one. Where the first book mostly concentrates on their love and past, the second book shows how true love changes a person. Their connection is magical and it's clear that Ronan and Olivia belong together. This story is a lot more action-packed than the first book and I couldn't read fast enough to find out what would happen in the end. The Gorgeous Duet books are definitely on my list of books of the year so far. I absolutely loved this series and Gorgeous book two is a deserving heartwarming ending of a beautiful duology.

I was left so broken-hearted at the end of book one.... Olivia had finally opened up and let someone in .... just to be crushed! So we start out book 2 with Olivia in the midst of her misery. She makes a new friend... and then feels like she is being watched! This book has some pretty great mystery going on. Then there is the family drama! Ronan's family is drama with a capital D! So they both have some pretty messed up family issues. Do they let their pasts and family issues tear them apart? Or do they use their experiences to bring them back together?
Ronan is a very serious romantic! He is probably the most sweet and romantic BBF I have read about recently. He really doesn't have a jerk bone in his body. His love for Olivia goes beyond. Eventually his sweet words rub off on her. She can spout some really pretty words of her own. I think that these 2 are just about the best couple invented. They really seem to look out for each other. I love how they BOTH make mistakes, and they both admit where they went wrong. I was very excited to have been able to get an advanced copy of this book..... the cliffhanger ending to book 1 was killing me! But it was absolutely worth the wait. The conclusion was everything I was hoping for! Great book! Exciting story!

What a great conclusion to this duet!!! My heart was broken at the ending of Book 1, it continued to break my heart. Lisa slowly pieced every piece of my broken heart together. Let me just say, Ronan is such a big softie. One of my favorite lines is when he had kept his distance, he and Olivia hadn't seen each other in over a month. She found him and he was in a zone, and saw her over him and he thought he was in a dream. "I must be f*cking dreaming"....Gosh, swoooon...If Ronan isn't the greatest book boyfriend ever. He loves Olivia so hard. Anyway....I'm getting off track.....

I cannot recommend this duet enough. By the way, I hope Ben and Rich get their story. I was starting to get attached to them. Love Love Love Olivia and Ronan.

Wow, Ronan and Olivia's lives haven't been that easy. The secrets that have been kept from them is unreal but their love pulls through. They survive and it makes them so much stronger in their love for each other.

I couldn’t wait for this book to come out, definitely didn’t disappoint. Ronan and Olivia both have past that are sad and troubling. They have many things to overcome in this story, just when you felt they were finally going to get their HEA, another shocking event happens. Couldn’t stop reading this story and at the same time didn’t want the story to end. This is a continuation of Gorgeous Book One, both books are worth the read! I received an ARC for an honest review.

YES!! We finally get the answers from the cliffie!! I have to say this was a very satisfying end! Neither of her characters comes out unscathed, but the timeline of how she starts off book two totally feeds my instant gratification…but then the book takes you on a wild ride!! I’m loving this new ‘voice’ from Lisa Shelby, and I’m definitely loving her new universe. Now I just want to see a Baxter novella and I’ll be completely content! :)

I have read all of Lisa Shelby's books and this one is my favorite. Gorgeous book 1 left us with quite the cliffhanger, and all your questions are answered in Gorgeous book 2. The way that the characters and places are described makes you feel like you are right there. I have loved sharing in Ronan and Olivia's story.

I was looking forward to the conclusion of book one, since the cliffhanger was a "what in the heck" moment. Book two started where the first left off and it didn't take long for details to get laid out and the story to get going. The suspense that the first book alluded to ratcheted up quickly and gave the story some of it's best written moments. Unfortunately, the climax was somewhat early in the story and there was still a third of the book left. Don't get me wrong, I like swift action and reconciliation, but (imo) there was so much book left and the author didn't have much more story to tell. I feel like these two books could easily have been fused into one full-length story and written more concisely. Especially considering the last third of the second book had continual internal monologues and deliberations that became repetitive. In addition to the internal musings in the last third, The book became repetitively sappy. Nearly every character of redeeming value had their sentimental speech moment and from there each declaration was some variation of the same speech. At that point, it became hard for me to stay invested in the story and I longed for the end. Without spoiling anything and on a personal note, I wish the author would have given an update on the repercussions of those whose actions were not necessarily legal. Overall, I found the first 2/3 of the book to be fairly great reading, but after the book's climax, it was a struggle to remain invested. (This is my voluntary and unbiased review of an advanced copy of Gorgeous: Book Two.)

My Thoughts…

Sigh, PERFECT! That is the one word description of the second book in The Gorgeous Duet series. While Ronan and Olivia were perfect for each other in the first book, the second one is even better. Book two starts out exactly where book one ended. Ronan has left Olivia, having his assistant break up with her. Of course, she is heartbroken, devastated, almost unable to put one foot in front of the other.

I have to stay that I had no doubt that they belonged together, they would find their way back to each other, and have steamy, hot fun again. The love, trust, and every other emotion I can think of was evident in every look, every touch, and every word between these two. There are some people who just pass through each other’s lives, leaving it better or worse, but Ronan and Olivia had to be together. I felt that their hearts would stop beating without the other.

The Gorgeous Duet is a series that has to be read in order. The good news… book one and book two are available right now. Go get them both. They have to be read, they have to be devoured, and they will make your heart break and fill with love.

Amazing!!!
I loved book 1 and then there was the cliffhanger!. Finally I got book 2, the second half of the story picking up where book 1 ended. And I love it just as much, it is just as wonderful. If you haven't read book 1 you will want to stop and read it now. This is such a great story and written in such a way that you get involved and feel every emotion possible. Ronan and Olivia are so MTB and have such hot chemistry you feel every spark. He is the best strong and caring and so in love with Olivia. She is sassy, determined and strong and so in love with Ronan. There is suspense, betrayal, drama, romance, danger, sadness and great happiness. I normally don't like cliffhangers and was highly anticipating this book and I wasn't disappointed. It was well worth waiting and reading both books. I have read all of Lisa Shelby's books and every one is better than the last. I love them all. I don't see how she can get any better than this but, I can't wait to read the next book from her.

I really enjoyed Gorgeous book one so I couldn't wait to get my hands one book one I needed to see what was going to be the fate of the couple and why the hero did what he did . This can't be read as a standalone so you definitely need to get the first book in the series while you are adding this baby to your cart . I don't want to get to much away just know this was a good read that you should not miss out on .

Ronan and Olivia’s chemistry is still burning fiery in book 2, and I couldn’t wait to dive in! You must read book 1 before reading this book, as it picks up right where the first book left off. During the separation of the two main characters, our heart aches knowing that Olivia isnt really actually herself. We know she’s hurt, and she’s only going through the motions of life until a reunion occurs. Though we learn not everyone is who they seem to be, were totally enthralled with the right mixture of suspense and angst this book offers.
I think what’s most special about this authors writing is that she has the power to write two people that you feel are so undeniably in love with each other. There’s no question that Ronan and Olivia ever belonged with someone else, because their love story is so genuine, I was in awe. I would definitely reccomend this duet to anyone looking for a sweet read with bits of suspense! - By Victoria

I devoured book one, and after the cliffhanger I was so excited to read book two for the conclusion of the story. Wow, lots of twists and turns in this one, with characters doing things you would not expect. All the way through the intense love between Ronan and Olivian shone like a beacon in the darkness. Again touches of Fifty Shades as Ronan seemed to be so obsessed with Olivia and tries so hard to protect her from the evil out to get her, but the overall story is much different. I just loved the romance between them and the love scenes especially once things were settled towards the end swoon! Loved the budding relationship between Callie and Ryan, maybe that will be another story in the future?
An amazing two part story which should not be missed. I look forward to reading more from Lisa she is definitely a writer to follow.

One word to describe this book? Phenomenal!

For the last few weeks i have been sat biting my nails waiting on this release. I’ve been sat thinking about every single possibility on what happened. What went wrong.

Why Ronan would do something like he did.

I loved the first book and was highly anticipating this second book.
I must say Lisa definitely didn’t disappoint.

Gorgeous book two was a heart wrenching story. A story of a love that’s strong even at its weakest points. A strong, independent woman and a very protective man that loves her beyond anything.

I loved everything about this book.

Can i share Ronan’s moon with him too?

A superb story with lots of emotions and loving moments. A must read over the spring.

5 fantastic stars from us.

Upsetting

It was so upsetting what happened to Olivia. To love Ronan like she does and to be loved back is a blessing. What also upsets me is what did the Law do to London and Daniel? Last I knew blackmail was a crime especially when it can lead to a kidnapping. Daniel should be in prison along with the drug dealer and his goons. You see my pet peeve with books being left unfinished just to sell another book to finish the story is a joke. But to do this on top of not giving a punishment to all those involved shows that this is also unacceptable. Sorry but if it takes 2 books to write 1 story (which is a joke) than at least get all the people that should be punished prison time. Geez.

My review of book 2 is the same as book 1 of the duet. This book had me completely enthralled as soon as I picked it up. The characters were spicier than other Shelby books I have read. Loved the change. Also enjoyed the character linkage to other stories and I felt like I already knew her (even though I absolutely did not!). Unlike other reviewers, I loved the ending of the first book, and loved that this was a duet because I don’t think my heart could have handled this much emotion in only one book. Highly recommend for all romance lovers!

The second part of this story had all the feels. Past secrets and betrayal reveal and though Ronan and Olivia are heavily tested, a true love is their core foundation. I love how their true "family" comes together to help them find their way. Less is definitely more, but with a hint of the finer life when it comes to the couple balancing each other out. It was a sweet, sassy and spicy read.

The conclusion to Olivia and Ronan's story blew me away. If you read book one, you know how shattered and devastated she was at the end. Secrets are revealed and stunning truths emerge. There is still a lot of suspense and angst but also the heated passion and hope we come to expect. I thoroughly enjoyed this duet.

Engaging Story

I enjoyed this two book series but found the dialogue a bit unrealistic and the repetitive nature of the emotions ascribed to the main characters tedious. The story itself was interesting but felt that all the characters-major and minor- stayed superficial and shallow. That was Disappointing.

Ok book

I love Lisa Shelby. However, this series didn't hit the spot for me like her other books. Somehow the connection was not there and it fell a little flat for me which is disappointing. Looking forward to the next one!
