Jiří Karásek ze Lvovic was a Czech poet, writer and literary critic. He is a prominent representative of decadence in Czech literature. As a writer and reviewer he also used naturalistic and impressionistic styles.

tak tohle byla ultra depka, ani nevím, jak to ohodnotit

I read this alongside Zazděná Okna, Sexus Necans, Hovory Sesmrtí, Endymion and Ostrov Vyhnanců in a single volume. The most prototypical czech decadentist as far as I know. Sometimes it offers interesting insights, but overall it feels like reading a second rate Baudelaire. It doesn't deter me from reading more from him, though.
