I read this book last year when I was trying to find some ways to energize myself. Montel is a little bit of an oddball, but I liked his ideas of balance. I was actually surprised at how much he has struggled with MS and how some simple lifestyle changes helped him.

His eating plans are great. The raw drinks with a crap ton of veggies in them did actually work for giving me energy. Unfortunately, I got tired of buying that much fresh produce (it was a lot) for drinks that were hard to get pureed fine enough. Do I really want to drink something that has chunky romaine in it, even after blending it to death? I probably should have tried my immersion blender, who knows...

Given the recent medical report released this week this book falls in line choosing a healthy lifestyle of eating fitness, thinking and just doing. A very simple approach to changing your life in 21 days. Typical Montel but a very quick read. Suitable for all audiences...for those who have done Weight Watchers this is the next step. I enjoyed the book. I loved the practical approach, and the simple techniques proffered...

If you read this book, apply the foundation, you really shouldn't have a weight problem. Well-done.

This book is full of common sense advice on weight control and healthier living. It is based upon the lastest scientific research and does not promote any fad diets. For those looking to jump start their lifestyle changes I would heartily recommend this book.

It is written in an easy to read manner.

I learned a lot about good nutrition and how what we eat can prevent diseases or cause disease. I am going to gradually add more vegetables and fruit to my diet to be able to live a more energetic life.

Good book on healthy eating and exercise. He is quite the cheerleader and makes you feel like you too can get healthy. His struggle with MS is sad but he is helping others through his hard times. I really liked this book!

Some great points/ideas in this book.
However, I was still hung up on Montel's autobiography that I just read and my disappointment in him and his lifestyle that I just couldn't focus enough to enjoy and take it all in...

I read this when I was first diagnosed with MS and was hoping for more information on the disease. So with that mindset it was a one or two star for me. After knowing more about the disease and reading it just for healthy living habits I would still only rate it a two or three.

I got about 40% through it and had to put it down. It wasn't inspirational or practical in my life. I was very disappointed.
