This was a fast novella if your looking for some spicy and mask, men, not one, buy 2 types of masks. (Same guy) This one is for you!!
Mickie is a hard worker and a mother of 3 who is divorced, and she has no time for dating. Nothing she dabbles on an app but hasn't really said anything about it. She's overwhelmed and finally speaks the word to "Wolf," the guy she's talking to.
Things don't go as planned when she's chased by a guy in a mask, and he does dirty delicious things to her. The question is, is this wolf? Or someone else? I won't give too much away because I want you guys to read this!!

Oh my god this book was so good. Did I stay up to 2 am to finish it? yes, yes I did.
The characters are so good and I fell in love with Mask daddy so fast! It kept me engrossed in the story until the very last page. The plot was so good and I need more now!!

I’ll go feral for a good chase
This is one of those books that will make you question your own limits and will have you wondering if you should just go ahead and add just one more kink to the list.
I mean, who wouldn’t want to read a book when the blurb says: “Far too late, I realize some fantasies are best kept hidden—especially when playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse”.
It’s a quick read, full of all the fun triggers, and I’m 100% wondering why more people aren’t taking about it.

If you are looking for a dark romance book that will keep you on your toes, make them curl, make you sweat and giggle well then read this one. Chech trigger warnings before reading because it does get dark.
Mickie is a single mom of three kids, while also working her ass off. She goes onto an app to meet her needs and finds Wolf. He makes her wildest, darkest, deepest desires come true for one night.? He pushes her boundaries, makes her see stars and makes her feel alive again.
It's a novella, which was just too short to be this delicious. In the beginning we only get Mickie's pov until the last chapter and i squealed, when we get his pov OMG it was absolutely amazing. Just what i needed to finish the book.

OH MY GHOSTFACE
The utter ferocity at which I devoured this book. It was wildly hot. I don’t know who Lilith Tate is or if she knows me perfectly but from the mask thing, Ghostface, scream references, the nickname is the same as mine, and much more this book is a personal favourite for me. Mmc is so freakin hot and the fmcs inner dialogue is hilarious and she isn’t annoying. Which is hard for me to come by. If I could give it more stars I would because it’s absolutely perfection and I will be following this author. She came out swinging with this debut novella.

Oh my! What a spicy, dark romance novella this was! I absolutely loved it! Mickie is a single mom with three kids who is looking for something that no one else has ever been able to give her. “Wolf” is waiting in the wings to give her what she needs. So hot and I am dreaming about a possible epilogue or extended story.

Well, this was one dark, spicy read! It was short, but plenty long enough to have you engrossed in the story.
Mickie got more than she bargained for when she agreed to a sexy rendezvous with a stranger. The masked man was intense and took things to the extreme, but these twisted, steamy moments made this book. I didn't want to stop reading!

Being a huge Scream fan how could I possibly resist a dark romance with my beloved Ghost Face? I figured out within the first couple of chapters who ghost face was. To me it was pretty obvious. That fact didn’t make me enjoy the book any less. It actually added to the concept of this actually being a romance, be it dark. Lots of spice and full of triggers, I’d definitely advise anyone thinking of reading this book to check the warnings. Hoping there will be another book to continue the story.

More often than I'd like to admit, I seek out shorter reads. My poor brain can only handle so much. I want a story that gets straight to the point. I don't want to dig around for the plot; I don't necessarily need to be attached to the characters. Bonus points if it has an unhinged MMC and a ton of spice. Author Lilith Tate's "Illicit Rendevous" has a divorced single mom, Mickie, free one weekend. Her kids are at her ex-husband's. Mickie's self-worth and esteem took a h¡t during her marriage and divorce. She has desires that haven't been met. She does have an incredibly hot new neighbor, but she feels he is way out of her league and dismisses that altogether. Through a schminky app, Mickie ends up in a role-play primal masked schmape scenario situation. But what is initially thought to be role-play makes her believe it may not be.
Readers can expect the scenes to be graphic and incredibly shcminky. I thought this was an entertaining short read and worth it.

A fast paced dark, cnc book! First I've read by this author and I absolutely loved it. The writing style grips you in, I finished this in one sitting it's a short spicey read with a masked man! It definitely left me wanting more of this authors work.

First I want to say this…WTF?! I was not expecting the ending but oh man was I here for it and I kinda wish there was more!!!! ⚠️Check triggers⚠️. This was dark and spicy and juicy and everything I love when it comes to a book. Masked man you got it! Down and dirty sexual fantasies you for it! The storyline and plot was amazing but the plot twist at the end was definitely not what I was expecting. Hell some parts of the book even had me feel the pain and excitement the FMC endured! But the MMC played his cards right with her!!! Im not one to rate spice levels high but when I say 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ it want definitely there! I can’t wait to see what Lilith Tate comes out with next!!!

There were some grammatical errors, which I can look past for indie authors. It wasn't written poorly and for a debut, I'd say it was written fairly well.
However, I feel like I'm the odd one out compared to other reviewers. It also seems like the other reviews are personal to the author, so I do find it hard to trust those types of reviews, along with 4 and 5 star ARCs.
The issue I found was a lack of confusion for the reader. For a cat and mouse theme, it felt much more one sided and not a push-pull. Since we are only getting her pov, it would benefit to have more inconsistent emotions from "Wolf" as to make the fmc and the reader question more of safety or not safety. Since this was more of what the theme was meant to be, I don't feel it fully delivered on that plot aspect.
I understand a novella is shorter, however the premise should still capture what the plot is indicating. I do feel this is why novellas tend to be a hit or miss. If it was to be all smut, which I do not classify this as smut, there should have been little plot. But because this focused a lot on plot for a novella, there needed to be a further emotional depth and descriptions rather than just doing multiple dark scenes over and over. The scenes also didn't come off as spicy to me either. I think it was the lack of connection I felt between the characters, description of the scene, and plot. It just didn't all web together.
I also would have liked better descriptions of the characters. The only description we got for Mickie was "...five foot five inches tall, long, curly black hair, and a somewhat trim body...". That is not enough for a main character. We get hair color and eye color for other people, the color of scrubs or objects. We even got the color of the carpet but that's all we get for the fmc? This is where the example of descriptions that are over described when it should be on something else. The random info dumps for backgrounds or circumstances would have been a lot better if additional knowledge had been included. Not just a few paragraphs of the auto shop which is an actual part of the story. Her full job title and description, as well as the event, were not necessary. What she did or where she worked, and that she was late, were appropriate for a novella. A working theme here of keeping descriptions consistent to where they need to be for a story.
I do hope this author continues on their writing journey and creates further books for readers to enjoy. Novellas are hard to write. They are a recipe that needs a lot of refinement most of the time. This one just fell short for me with the above mentioned and shock value just for shock value.

Michaella was super relatable. Kids, job, messy house, the loss of identity you sometimes feel when you're doing it all alone...it's something most of us have experienced.
But then a hero comes along (sorry, Mariah) and takes her on an exhilarating chase filled with scorching hot smex and primal possessiveness. And he's masked! And has tattoos. And is smoking hot.
If you love anything I've mentioned above, run and get this book. Just make sure your batteries are fully charged. Trust me. 😉

OMGF!!! I am so in love with Mask Daddy!!!
This story was so freaking delicious that I devoured it in one sitting and I am now craving MORE!!! It was dark (some might find parts triggering – not me), depraved, twisted, erotic and sinfully delicious.
I absolutely loved Mickie. She was so realistic and relatable, and she had me cracking up with her clumsiness. Her internal dialogue was on point – she pretty much said exactly what I would have in her situation.
The smut contained within the pages of this story was filthy, dirty, debauched, explicit and utterly stimulating. My body was aching all over by the time I was finished reading!
The writing was phenomenal, the characters were fantastic, and the storyline was outstanding. Being prey is a fantasy of mine and DAMN did Lilith do a phenomenal job bringing it to life.
And that ending, DAMN, it was EVERYTHING, plus a whole hell of a lot more.

I’m not even sure how to write this review, because I’m still riding on the high of this book. Having first hand in experience working with Lilith, I know she is bound to do great and amazing things.
For the book… Can we say Mask Daddy!!! I need him right here, right now! There’s a rollercoaster of excitement and tons of nonstop steamy scenes that I couldn’t get enough of, but that end chapter locked me in. I want more of these characters!
If Zaddy (Haunting Adeline), Ghost Daddy (Scream For Us) and Bait had a thrupple and produced a sexy offspring it would be Mask Daddy!
For this Halloween season… charge the toys, pour a glass of wine and have this book locked and loaded!

Now - not because it was bad writing or even a bad plot. It’s well written for a novella, I just didn’t read the trigger warning correctly and I’m not into non-consent (my fault). I didn’t want to rate it lower simply because it’s not my cup of tea, because the writing was well done and I liked the main characters inner monologue lol I also really liked the whole “single mom” part because you just never see mothers portrayed in these kind of books!! READ TRIGGER WARNINGS, and if it’s for you - go for it. I think if it’s what you like then it’ll read really well! Just wasn’t for me!

Mickie a single mom to three children doing what she can to get through the day never really thought of her needs as her children come first. That is until one night when her kids are with their father for the night and she has had it.

First of all Dayum Girl! My first book from this author and it won’t be my last. It was a cute, fun and quick read. Definitely read/look at the TW, but worth the dive in that I took.
