The Silverblood Brotherhood wants Raven dead. Even the law of the land allows their doctrine to dictate her fate. It’s beginning to look like letting the Brotherhood win may be the only way to protect those she loves. If only she could change the laws that currently deny her protection. But to do that, she would need to evade the Silverblood hunters long enough to gain the favor of a king. A daunting task for someone who still hasn’t figured out the complexities of social expectations. With her life hanging in the balance, it might still be worth trying.

I read the entire series. And I was all in,,,, until the author created a 3 way situation between our heroine and her 2 suitors. And it changed everything for me. It wasn't handled well. I started to intensely dislike our heroine. I started disliking both men for being so pathetic in love. She neutered these two fierce and honorable men / elves. Both of whom I had come to like a lot,,, I stuck with it until the end. I suppose I was hoping for a change,,, something to make me like Raven again. I didn't get it. Let me be clear,,, I don't care that she became involved with both guys,,,there was a level of cruelty and selfishness and unkindness woven thru the relationship and Raven was the one bringing the pain. And no matter how many years Miss McCormack put in her eyes I never once believed in them. Read it,,,,you decide
