After four days of violence and chasing misdirection from Los Angeles to New York, of successes and failure, and risking their careers to smash the terrorists’ plot, the endgame is finally clear. The time for investigating, for guesswork, is over; now Jack Miller’s specialist Terrorist Incident Emergency Response Unit – or “TIER” Unit – must plunge head-first into the action. While the clinically executed attack appears impenetrable, Jack may have a man on the inside ... but after being betrayed by his country and left to die, can he be trusted? And will the connections between Jack and the key players prove a hurdle too big to overcome? TIER Unit 3-1 Day Endgame is the final installment of five novellas in which psychopathic vengeance and religious fanaticism converge to attack the United States of America, leaving one man in the middle to lead the fight back.
Wow! This was a great ending the week from hell for Jack Miller and his trusty cohorts. Sammy did turn out to be a bad guy but not as bad as he could have been. Hard to believe that someone buried underground could be found but technology is pretty amazing. I liked the intensity of these five novellas and will be looking forward to the next series. I hope Jack returns because his smart-aleck attitude made the book very interesting. There was just enough 'by the rules but around the rules' to be plausible. Anyone who thinks the good guys always do it by the book haven't read many books or watched much real news. I enjoyed the story right up to the end and I was hoping Jack was going to get a new job offer. He still could but we won't know about it until the next series. So, come on Lincoln (A.D.) and let us see more of Jack.
