This bewitching Georgia Peach is anything but ordinary. She’s a mother, nurse, thriller writer, award-winning paranormal/romance/contemporary author, passionate patriot, event planner and more! She’s also home schooled three children and is the Vice-President of a charitable foundation which helps women and children’s causes and in her spare time she writes screenplays!

J.L. in her own words:

Under a barrage of nagging by BFF’s, I’ve been told my bio was boring, not at all a reflection of just who I am beneath the surface, which is a compliment…I think. So, I promised to rev it up a bit. Thus the reason why I’m sitting here staring at the computer screen with nothing but crickets in my brain. I’m totally into making up wild and interesting stories with a lot of heart thrown into the mix, but telling people about myself isn’t so easy. What can I tell you about me?

I don’t play video games or watch horror because I can’t take the heat, but give me a kickass thriller every minute of every day and I am there. Be prepared for a Hoover Dam meltdown if you’re with me and the movie is sad. So, to avoid disaster, I love romantic comedies.

Never coffee. Always tea. Never beer. Always champagne. There’s more, but hey, gotta save some secrets until after the first date, right?

I grew up in Miami. Went to nursing school in Georgia, where I now reside. I raised and home schooled three great kids. I wrote for nine years before I sold a book, which made me a firm believer that a person should NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE UP ON THEIR DREAMS.

I remember my father’s remark after a particularly scandalous story about one of my ancestors, a story that involves a conspiracy, treason, betrayal, murder, and execution, a story that after a drink or two in the bar, I might be enticed to share. Anyway, what my father said was, “You can’t keep a good man down.” And I kind of see that in myself. Not that I am necessarily good, because the definitions of moral words are often relative, but I do persevere, and I am resilient. Nothing in life has ever worked out the way I planned for it too. In many areas of my life, I have yet to reach the level I thought I would, of where I envisioned I would be, but I haven’t given up. I won’t give up. I continue to work hard and do everything I can to help who I can and to make my dreams come true.

Besides great kids, family, and friends, that perseverance has so far garnered me a USA Today Bestselling tag and twelve plus books on the shelf in a number of genres (contemporary romantic suspense, historical suspense, paranormal suspense, and contemporary romance). I’ve won a number of writing awards, two National Choice Awards, three Maggie Awards, a RT Book Club Reviewer’s Choice Award, the Daphne du Maurier Award, the Marlene Award, and the Golden Heart Award to name most of them. I work with several amazing women in a charity to raise money for a shelter that helps abused and homeless women and children. I’ve revived my nursing career after a long hiatus, have renewed my license, and will find the right job for me.

I know there are many more great things ahead.

I write romance because I believe that when you boil all of life down to its essence, if you take a human being to the very core of his existence, then you will find that what matters more than anything else is to be loved and to give love.

Life is all about choices and to pull from one of Erich Fromm’s quote, I choose to create and to love rather than destroy and to hate.

I hope you enjoy my stories.

Go forth, dream, believe, create, inspire, and love,

Jenni (J.L. Saint, Jennifer St. Giles, Jennifer Saints)

Free today on Amazon (07/12/13)...Great beach or couch read! If you're not hot enough, this will make you SIZZLE!

5 Sexy Stars!! I really, really enjoyed this book!! It’s not long, but I felt like I got so much out of it!

The romance heats up quickly, actually more like warped speed, but it worked. Alexi and Jesse have history, it was brief and many years ago, but the chemistry they had is still there. EXPLOSIVE!! They meet again when Alexi is running from her “almost” wedding. He swoops into rescue her and proceeds to console her like only he can, on the hood of his car!! Jesse, Jesse, Jesse what an insatiable dirty boy! He makes me tingle! Ting-a-ling-a-ling! Aside from the sex, was a fairly in-depth story. A mix of suspense, emotion, the healing of old wounds, and a believable relationship that develops between Alexi and Jesse outside of the bedroom, bathroom, hot tub, dining room table, in front of mirrors…oh you get the picture…it’s been BURNED into my brain! These two couldn’t keep their hands off each other!! I had just one issue where the villain’s escape plan seemed highly unlikely, a little over the top, but it didn’t detract from the story or my rating.

It was a fun, hot, emotional, sweet, sensual story that I won’t soon forget. Bring on Jackson, brother #2!!

So I decided to randomly pick a book that has been sitting on my Kindle for a while and this was it.

Well...this one did absolutely nothing for me. I probably should have just set it aside and not finished it but I kept at it.

There were a variety of things that was a turn off for me but the number one thing that really had my face scrunching up was when the words "dewy moist" was used to describe the arousal state of the female MC Alexi/Lexi/Lex (yeah that drove me nuts too...multiple names).

Dewy and Moist should never be used as a sexual reference EVER!

That's all I have to say. :)

Runaway bride runs straight into the arms of her long ago past. A reunion between the rich good girl and the poor bad boy. The bad boy is in the lead with the luck of the Irish and two good "saves" on the scoreboard. Toss in a little suspense and a whole lotta sex and you're mixed up in a wild sizzling contemporary romance that is sure to please.

4 Stars maybe more. I don't usually rate short stories very highly because basically there too short to have any meat or connection. I thought Wild Irish was wonderful and sexy, it had depth both in the story and characters and a family of hot Irish boys which leads to a promising series.

This is my first read from this author and I will be back for more. It did have a story line that I have seen before, West Side Story- esque. Bad boy saves good rich girl when they are young, have a brief affair and they fall madly for each other, but he knows he is no good for her so he doesn't take advantage of her innocence. He is framed and her family makes him go away, both the H&h thinks the other deserted them and there are many other assumptions and misunderstandings that come through out the story. In the beginning of the book they are reunited in The Graduate type of way, her running from the church from her groom and wedding directly into bad boy Jesse. The story starts smoking at that point, I mean with Jesse's 12 year absence let's just say he picked up quite a few tricks to teach Alexi and he doesn't pass on teaching her this time. Even though it was full of Jessie and Alexi getting it on wherever they were, there was actually a story wrapped around it too that had emotion, heartbreak, and a little predictable mystery/stalker thing.

Wild Irish by Jennifer Saints was a decent book, a re-union story about two people who met twelve years ago, Lexie was seventeen and too young and from a wealthy family and Jesse was two years older with a bad reputation, who didn't want them to go all the way.

Now, Lexie runs a art gallery besides charities and is all set to marry a man from her own social class, someone acceptable but can't seem to stop thinking about Jesse. On her wedding day she realizes she can't go through with it when some pictures of her fiancee with other women are given to her, enraged she escapes with Jesse coming to her rescue once again and them doing the deed.

Jesse thinks her family framed him and ran him out of town into the marines twelve years ago. He doesn't mind the sexual affair between them. Most of the book was about these two getting it on and Lexie exploring her sexuality and a minor suspense plot thrown in.

The book was a short, quick read.

Wild Irish is book one in the Weldon series which came to my attention when author Jennifer St. Giles tweeted about the availability of this book up on Smashwords for free. Always someone who loves a story that involves a proverbial bad boy with whom the heroine has a shared past with, I didn't hesitate to grab myself a copy and let myself be swept away on a journey that continually suprised me with just how different this novel turned out to be from Collateral Damage, the one novel that I have read to-date by the author.

Wild Irish written under the pseudonymn Jennifer Saints who also writes under the names of J.L. Saint and Jennifer St. Giles kick-starts this romance with 29 year old Alexandria Jordan, heiress to the Jordan's shipping empire in Savannah getting ready to say her I-do's with a man that she feels no burning passion for. With doubt clouding her mind on her last night as a bachelorette, Alexi is bombarded with the memories of a 19 year old Jesse Weldon who had rocked her world and broken her 17 year old heart in the span of one month.

When her fiances indiscretions come to light right before the wedding, Alexi knows that she won't be able to go through with a union strongly supported by her grandmother and father and runs, straight into the arms of the one man whom she has never forgotten in the span of the twelve years that has separated them.

19 year old Jesse with the proverbial bad boy chip on his shoulder had hesitated to take what was so freely offered to him when his and Alexi's lives had collided twelve years back. After spendng eight years in the army, mostly in the Special Forces and now owner of his own security company, Jesse is no longer naive enough to let his heart get involved, but wild horses wouldn't be able to drag him away from claiming the woman whose sinful mouth has haunted his dreams more times than he would like to recall.

Alexi is shocked to the bone when she lets Jesse sweep her away with the heady desire that has always burned strong between them, that makes her forget every proper thought in her head until she says yes to all the decadent ways in which Jesse can make her feel as the most desirable woman on Earth. Jesse who doesn't believe in love and soul mates nevertheless has a hard time defining how he feels about Alexi as just plain old lust raging inferno through his body as his possessive streak a mile wide comes out to play when Alexi's life becomes threatened by a mad man willing to through any lengths to make her his.

Filled with highly sensual content that just about took my breath away as Jesse tries his damndest to keep Alexi from leaving by binding her to him with the explosive passion they seem to share, Wild Irish is a book that I enjoyed immensely. Alexi has her work cut out for her with the stubborn Weldon genes that prevents Jesse from believing that the word permanent could be applied to their relationship. But at every turn, Jesse continually surprises her with just how right they are together, if only he would believe it for himself.

Jesse is the type of bad boy hero each woman dreams about, the type of hero that we wish would come up and drive us off into the sunset on his mean looking Harley with the wind whipping more than our hair into a frenzy. The man Jesse grows into is no less lethal, he is in fact more so with his ever abundant need to possess and keep Alexi at his mercy with every trick he has learnt in the art of seduction until now. But what makes the scenes of passion memorable is the fact that the tables turn so quickly on Jesse as Alexi assumes the role of the one in control who drives their mutual desire to a feverish pitch which makes each and every scene of passion between Alexi and Jesse unforgettable!

This is the only romance that I have heard of which came out as a graphic e-book with photos of the delicious Jesse himself with the beautiful Alexi to make things enticing. Because I couldn't help myself, I downloaded two chapters up on betweenyoursheets.com that are available for free and I am beyond tempted to purchase the entire novel for the 10+ dollars its priced for, because seeing Jesse in all his glory is so very tempting!

Jennifer Saints has definitely surprised me - all in a good way with her ability to draw out mind numbing scenes of passion that in no way hinders the character development and the suspense potion of the novel that unfolds. I am now very much tempted to get a copy of the next book in the series that features the widowed and grieving older brother of Jesse who finds his happily ever after with Alexi's best friend. And believe me, the pictures available on the freely available chapters just about made me hyperventilate and I bet the heat factor in their story would drive me insane before I'm through!

Highly recommended for those who love stories of bad boys and rich heiresses and for those who love highly sensual romantic suspense novels.

I got this a long time ago... I didn't even know I had it until I read the 2nd book.

This was a great intro to a series. There are for black Irish brothers (Dark Hair with blue eyes), who make up a blue collar family. The dad worked in a shipyard & their mom works in the hospital cafeteria. They were raised in/or near Savannah, GA. Each one grows up & becomes something better than the parents. Each is trying to take the "wrong side of the tracks" stigma away from the family name.

Alexandria dates Jesse for a month when she's 17. He walks away from her & wakes up with police over him & an accusation of stealing the family pearls... He leaves town after that & joins the military instead of going to jail. Alexi has no idea. She just thinks he left.

12 years later, while Alexi is running away from a wedding she no longer wants to go through with... she runs smack dab into him & asks him to rescue her.

Alexi owns an art studio & Jesse runs a securities company comparing the greatness of it to Bill Gates & Microsoft. (whatever... just a tidbit of info.)

Iread this second instead of first, which was no big deal, but this one was way better. There is an underlying mystery to this one & there is a hunt for a couple people. At the same time Alexi & Jesse are together for sure, almost instantly & it's all HOT... Enjoyable & I can't wait to read the third book, but it's in line!

I love stories where the couple has a previous relationship. Jesse and Alexi were steaming in this book. I just loved how Jesse would whisper in Lexis ear about a fantasy and would follow through. Yes there was a lot of sex. Poor Lexi was always getting caught or overheard, kinda embarrassing. It was kinda funny too. But there was more than sex, there was past issues to deal with and the mystery of who was after Lexi.Jesse seemed to have a commitment phobia and Lexi was wanting his love. Together they seemed like a mess. But it all worked out in the end. Now I read that Jesse's brother Jackson has a book next and frankly his story will be really sad, but I cant wait to read it.

In a flip-flop to a lot of romantic suspense tales, this book started out fast and furious between the sheets. Don't let all the S-E-X deter you from a decent suspense story that builds later in the book. Lots of clues lead to the culprit, but the story is exciting from beginning to end.

This book had a bit of mystery, bad boys, sweet girls & way too much popcorn. I mean how much popcorn can 2 people pop?? There is a point where it is excessive & not believable. Other than that, I liked it. I liked the characters & the plot. Runaway bride literally runs into an old flame & away we go.

Thirty minutes before her wedding, the heroine is given a set of pictures showing her groom-to-be engaging in sex with a group of women. Naturally, she calls the wedding off, and as she is fleeing the scene, still wearing her wedding dress, who should appear but her teenage crush. She hasn't seen him for twelve years, but he whisks her away, and they proceed to have sex as often as possible, preferably nude and outdoors on the deck of the hero's beach house. It goes without saying that every time they have sex, it's better than the last time. Unfortunately, there's nothing there that we haven't read before, dozens of times, and that scene with the melted chocolate has been done so many times it was embarrassing to read it again.

The book could also do with a good copy editor. It's riddled with mistakes like "daring-do" for "derring-do", "me and you" instead of "you and I", and the hero wanting the heroine "bad" not badly. They are a real distraction from what little plot there is.

Ms. Saints has done her homework, and manages to include almost all of the cliches for this genre. The heroine's family is rich and evil. The hero's is poor and good. His mother is a Wise Woman who rules her family of wild men with the iron hand in the velvet glove. Unfortunately, she has a lot of children, so this series can run on for a long time.

Evidently, the paperback edition has some photographs in it that are supposed to enhance the story (such as it is). They aren't in the Kindle Fire version, so I can't say anything about them.

I got this book as a freebie, and it was over-priced. I would only recommend it to someone who is desperate.

Alexi Jordan is about to walk down the aisle but she's having serious doubts about what comes next with Roger. She's not sure she can get married for the sake of getting married. When an unexpected package arrives changes Alexi's mind about marrying Roger. Alexi's grandmother Katherine tries pushing Alexi into marrying Roger anyway. Alexi realizes that's not the kind of life she wants for herself. Jesse Weldon has returned home to set up securities business and hoping to bring respectability. Jesse has been trying to forget Alexi Jordan over these last 12 years. Yet he's not having any luck with it. When Jesse spies Alexi in her wedding gown chased by paparazzi. He's intrigued by Alexi's beauty. When Jesse and Alexi kiss they set the world on fire. Can Jesse rescue Alexi? What will Alexi do? Can either of them admit their feelings? Your answers await you in Wild Irish.

I always love a story with the ultimate bad boy. Jesse certainly fits the description of bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. I was impressed with Alexi's vulnerability and strength. All parts of the story blended together seamlessly. The author created well liked characters and hated characters too. What's a good story without them. I look forward to the next installment in this series.

I love the Weldon Brothers.. This is my first book by author Jennifer Saints, but it is not going to be my last. I have already downloaded book 2 in the Weldon Brothers.. I thought Jesse and Alexi were a match made in sinful heaven. This was a sexy, sizzling romance that if I had been reading it in paperback would have burned my fingers.. I thought my kindle was going to melt..
Jesse is the boy from the wrong side of the tracks, and Alexi was the rich Southern belle, who just wanted to be loved. Her grandmother was not going to let anyone or anything stop her from getting the best husband for Alexi, until Jesse comes back into town and Alexi finds out that her husband to be is a cheat and a pervert.. Jesse unknowingly come to Alexi rescue and the heat that was there many years ago is still sizzling hot.. But who is behind the pictures sent to Alexi just before her wedding to Rodger.. Can Security Specialist Jesse find out who is stalking and terrorizing the woman he can't seem to live without... and prove to her that she can trust him and his love for her.

I love second chance plots - specially if they involve a poor boy, rich girl scenario - so I really didn't pay much attention to the description. If I would have known this involved a killer plot, I wouldn't have even taken the time to download this freebie.

This wasn't terrible but it was all over the place. Their past relationship wasn't developed and the wrong side of the tracks aspect of the hero story was stupid because he had a really nice family that loved him! It wasn't as if he was the outcast of the town or anything. The suspense plot was ridiculous with lots of stupid misunderstandings. And the heroine is the clingy type that starts demanding love after two days in the hero's bed. The love scenes were the best part of the story but I can say they were very imaginative.

Definitely not reading any more books in this series.

Golly, was this book awful. I enjoyed Mistress of Trevelyon so much that I checked my Kindle and found I had two more books by the same author. Unfortunately, this one totally lacked exactly what made "Mistress" such a great read--character and story. This book was just about two very unlikeable cardboard stock characters involved in one romance novel cliche after another and stupid sex scene after stupid sex scene after stupid sex scene, ad nauseum--okay, we get it already, they are two boring, immature horn dogs, nuff said, move on with the novel, such as it is, already! Don't bother looking for anything fresh, original, or entertaining here. The most enjoyable thing about this book was clearing it off of my Kindle. Gave it two-stars, because recently I actually read a book that was worse, as hard as that is to believe.

This book was all sorts of awful. I received it for free on Kindle a looooong time ago, and finally decided to read it. And it was just... bad. The characters were underdeveloped, the scene setting was terrible, and the mystery subplot wasn't well executed. At all.

And there were way too many sex scenes. I was expecting a cute contemporary romance, and it felt more like erotica. And the sex scenes were so long! I was getting tired just reading them.

I also had a lot of issues with the main character. There wasn't enough plot to justify why she felt she was in love with Jesse (I guess the hot sex?) and every time she seemed like she was going to have a backbone and actually stand up for herself, she let Jesse control her.

As another reviewer said, this book was free and that seemed overpriced.

Whew! This one's a hot one!
There was about equal amounts sex and plot - most of the occurrences were believable and not just sex for sex's sake!
The only thing is it seemed like the author wrote great for 95% of the book, and then rushed to finish it up. Like "here's the whodunnit, face him, get the big bad ex-fiance, save the world, and wrap it up in a tidy bow!" Other than the hurried ending I thought the book was great!

Jesse Weldon was accused for a crime he didn’t commit. Now twelve years later Jesse has returned to Savannah to open his successful security company. Alexandra (Alexi) Jordan is from a prominent blue-blooded family and the girl he let get away. Alexi is ready to get married to Roger when a package arrives with photos of Roger’s infidelities and she calls off the wedding. She runs into the arms of Jesse Weldon the boy she once had feelings for. Jesse and Alexi run away from the paparazzi to rekindle the love they were never able to continue until now. I really enjoyed this contemporary romance novel.

Second Chance

Alexi was 17 when she met Jesse. One night she took Jesse to her home and was awoken by her grandmother and the police. They told Alexi that Jesse had used her to steal from her family.

Jesse didn't know what was happening but found himself enlisted to the Marines.

Now it's 12 years later and Jesse finds himself rescuing Alexi from her wedding. What will happen next ?
