I liked the premise of the story: to rescue the girls that were being trafficked. But some of the humor and Questions and comments by the book club ladies were a bit inappropriate especially the ice breaker questions. The author was clever as he had the book club reading his boojs and taking tips from one of his fictional heroines.
Their cause was noble: to rescue girls. He also made comments on the current political climate on open borders and it was not disguised. At least I picked up on it! And I did not disagree.
The ladies frequently asked : What would Jesus do? And they did put their faith into action.

The Book Club Rescue (The Book Club Mysteries), my third enjoyable read from author Terry Toler I own sixteen of this author’s books and after reading this one all I’m on a mission to read the ones I already own and see where I go from there. “I received a free Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." This novella had humor, jokes, an interesting cast of the book club ladies, and a great storyline. Toler addresses a prevalent topic in today's society. Get ready for the book club ladies' personalities and shenanigans in this novella.
