This is a feel good story that you just didn't know you needed to read.
These characters are on separate pages, and yet somehow come together to make sense of each other. They push each other out of their comfort zones.
And Casey? Everyone needs a Casey in their lives

I couldn't put this one down. Summer has to go back to the small town that she grew up in to help her dad run the farm. This isn't something that she wants to do. Her dream is to live and work in the big city. The only upside to her return is to see her best friend Casey. When she does return to the farm, there is another person that has captured her interest-Ford O'Neal. She doesn't want to see her mother-she is the cause of Summer being back at the farm.

Ford O'Neal is there until October, then he is heading north. He lives a free spirit life. Growing up with parents that are hippies. His interests include growing medicinal and edible plants, and currently Summer Stafford.

Violet writes beautifully. This book is proof of that. She has made the characters very cohesive. The story flows well, and the characters are strong on their own. Strong willed and strong headed.

I really loved this book. Violet is a penname for a favorite author and this book just goes to show she can write any genre.
Summer has to come home to help run her father's farm something she doesn't really want to do. But as always in a small town romance in walks in a temporary farm hand that makes her want to change her mind. I loved Summer and Ford so much. This had me so emotional, now I'm excited for Casey's book and his HEA.

I thought this was cute, I enjoyed the back and forth with Casey and Summer, I could read an entire book with just them and their relationship throughout growing up.

Ford and Summer were cute too. I just found it a little hard to believe that a grown woman would take a divorce so hard with her parents.

I loved this so much!! There’s something about small town romance that really appeals to me. And sexy Ford O’Neal is very appealing!!

Ford and Summer can’t resist each other, but neither wants the complication of a relationship for different reasons. But when you can’t keep your hands off of each other, you know things are going to get complicated.

I loved how Summer’s family just pulled Ford in as a family member. Actually I loved her family!

Highly recommend this book if you enjoy small town romance yourself!! I will be watching for the next Violet Stafford romance!!

I tried so hard to like this book. I skimmed over several parts rather than shelving it entirely but the story was exceptionally flat and boring.

I'm aggravated that I received this book in a mystery box because it makes me doubt that they're even trying to pick decent books for their boxes.
