Finding His Mate

Rate this book
From the unfortunate moment that Kate reversed into the bad tempered, ill mannered and menacing Dex Thornton with her car, she should have known to get the hell out of town. But Kate had a job to do, and that job is a means to an end. Not to mention the water tight contract her new boss had her sign, and the fact someone has disabled her car, which leaves her with no means to escape. So what’s a girl to do?

Not take any attitude from the Neanderthal type’s that the little backwater town seems to breed, that’s what. But Kate is human and this town has a few surprises up its sleeve that might just leave her speechless…

Dex sees Kate as an accident waiting to happen. From the moment she runs into him with her car, he’s certain she will be the death of him. Just being close to her is a tossup between wanting to kiss her and wanting to kill her and it isn’t helping that his wolf is having those exact same emotions to boot.

With the arrival of an annoying sarcastic vampire, his Beta going into meltdown and his sister getting her claws out, Dex’s usual self composure get’s tested to the limit. If he survives the mating process it will be a blessing, and if his mate survives, it might just be a miracle.

I thought this was a great book.
From start to finish I could not stop laughing, either a chuckle or LMAO.
Such a shame that the author is thinking of giving up writing, because I have enjoyed all of her books to date.
Highly recommend this book.

Do not judge a book by It's cover. Finding his Mate is an Absolutly fang-tastic book. I smiled, or LOL for over half the book. I loved Dex and Kate from the moment Kate runs into him with her car. It is none stop between the two of them. You absolutely will not regret reading this one, well worth the time and money.

I didn't think her books could get any funnier, but from start to finish this had me crying with laughter. The poor alpha, the poor beta. Absolutly fang-tastic book. This has to be the funniest so far.

This is the 1st book I have read by M.L. Briers & I really liked this story. I laughed out loud on some of the things that happened to Dex & Kate. And really liked the tie in with Zoe & George the Vampire. I loved Riff and sure hope there is a story about him finding his mate.

another great read!

Kate is a human, and Dex, a Lycan. she has a tendency to be rather clumsy and in the space of this book she : runs him over, slams a door in his face, knees him in the nuts (3 times!) punches him in the nose, and STILL he comes for more!! there is no great threat to Kate in this book, but its darn well amusing watching these two characters come together. Dex's sister Zoe, also finds her mate, a vampire called George, and she does face a threat.

one thing stopping these books getting 5 stars (although some i DID 5 stars) is the editing. not necessarily speeling, its punctuation that lets it down. sort that out, and these would all get 5 stars :-)

This was a nice change from ML's other books. Usually a lot of repeating. Not this time... I really enjoyed the way this story played out.
