Okay, so I've been sitting with this book since yesterday, struggling with how to rate and review this book, and I tend to be very generous with my reviews. I don't read things if I don't think I will enjoy it, which is why my ratings tend to be 4 or 5 stars. Let me just say that I think the author is super sweet, and overall, I did enjoy this series, but the ending kind of ruined that enjoyment for me.

I did read the author's note, so while I understand why Ashlee decided to end this series in the way that she did, I just personally didn't feel that it was necessary, and it truthfully took away my enjoyment for the series overall. If it weren't for the conversation that the group had just a couple of pages prior to the plot twist, I would have agreed with her reasoning, but after that conversation, I absolutely believe things could have easily turned out a different way. I just don't think it was at all necessary for that particular character, and the book ended like four pages after that happened, so the resolution to the series was a huge let down for me. I wanted to love this book, but I just didn't.

I will definitely try out more of Ashlee's books in the future, but given the ending, this series just wasn't for me, which is totally okay.

That ending ruined the series for me. Im absolutely heartbroken and probably wouldn't have picked up the series if I knew this was how it was going to end. Not a bad series, but I feel like my guy was done dirty 😭😭😭😭

Reckless Love by Ashlee M. Edmonds is a dark MC reverse harem romance. This is the fourth and final book in The Reapers of Havoc MC series.

This is Ashlee's debut series and she knocked it out of the park. This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster, and I loved every second of it. I will definitely be missing these characters. I really enjoyed getting Gabriel, Jaxon, Angel, Lucky, Royal, and Dante's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I would recommend this series if you like dark romances, reverse harem romances, motorcycle club romances, or romantic suspense.

What.the.....

This book was not as well edited as the others. Thar is not why it gets 2 stars, however.

Okay. I would have seriously not read a single word of this series if I knew how it would end. To be honest, by the end, Gabe was my favorite character. And then kill him, have him see Gloria, and Angel has his daughter, all within just a few pages, was just cowardly. Or uninspired. I am not sure which it was. Sometimes main characters need to die. I get that. I may not like it, but I get it. In this case, it wasn't needed. It didn't even really make sense. Everyone had agreed to get along. So f the author's note at the end about she had to.
And then, what happened with the cartel? Did they just decide they didn't need to wipe the slate clean and leave? Somehow I doubt it.
Honestly, don't read the series if you haven't started it. In fact, maybe avoid this author at all costs. You tie the relationship up on a neat little bow, then kill one and say you had to. I don't know. It just didn't sit right with me.

Wild ride

All I can say is that I was NOT emotionally prepared for this book! It was a perfect conclusion to Angel's story but it absolutely shattered me.

⚠️ Will most likely read in one sitting ⚠️

Spoilers you've been warned

I will say that I was super excited for this series I waited until every book came out to read it. The problem for me through all of this series was Heaven or Angel idk we will go with Heaven. On the first page of the first book I was like ok yeah I like this chick. Love her sass and attitude. I quickly lost all that when she was with Dante for the first time. I'm not sure why the author chose to have her and Gabriel get together. I'll never understand why that needed to happen at all. However Heaven lost all appeal after that she was so self absorbed. She was constantly like they hurt me and they should trust me to make my own decisions and include me...blah blah blah... selfish. That's not how MC's work. She wasn't their old lady and she wasn't a part of the club in any way so why did she feel so entitled because they were best friends??? They didn't have any relationship aside from friendship at this point so yeah ok...we try to move past that and she's telling the guys how much she loves them til they aren't bending to her wants. Like she's so much more important than they are. She wants what she wants and there's no compromise on her part at all. She wants Gabriel blah blah blah. How dare they not accept this even though there was so much he'd done and she knew this before she even started anything with Gabriel and she was so in love with these other guys but none of that seems to matter at all. Still can't make sense how she loves these guys so much when she refuses to acknowledge anyone's pain or wants but her own. 🙄 Seriously major eye roll here. Then to say that the only way to save the book and bring it back together is to kill Gabriel off. Wait what then why did we have to go through all this drama? It would've made more sense for Gabriel to never be a factor at all or for her to only have a relationship with Gabriel. Honestly I don't think this character deserved any of the relationships she got. She was selfish and down right immature at times as well as a liar. You know all relationships work so well with lying, it's the staple of good communication. There was no coming together for these characters because none of these relationships got worked out. No work was put in it was like all the problems they had magically worked out because she was pregnant (which she lied and hid for a while) and Gabriel dies which somehow equals a happy ending!?! How?

All I know is thank goodness all the books were out when I decided to read this because if I had waited for this ending I would have be so much more pissed.

This could have been one MAYBE two books MAX, there was absolutely no need to drag this out. I also absolutely cannot stand RH’s like these where the relationships never really come together.

They literally did Gabe so dirty I swear. Gabe was the only character that made you feel anything & of course he was killed off in the 11th hour, a chapter in his POV from the afterlife was definitely a new one 🙄 I did read what the author wrote about it having to happen because it never would of worked out but it just didn’t make sense after the conversation all the guys had just a few chapters before about putting the baby & Angel first, which made his death make even less sense. IMO Angel had the strongest connection with Gabe so it really ruined the ending for me personally. I get that sometimes main characters need to be killed off, I mean I watch GOT so I really do get it but in this case it made zero sense.

Then you have King as the main villain, he goes out in the most uneventful way and the reader doesn’t even know who actually did it. The vendettas were way too personal for this to have been a group effort take out 🙄

What happens with the Cartel? They were after the MC & then magically poof that’s it? It’s over? Who takes over the Reapers MC? It just seemed to drag on & on and then abruptly ends leaving you with more questions than answers.

Side note: not only did you get rid of the most likable character in the end but Angel named her baby after his wife?! Seriously, be so for real right now 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have an idea 💡 maybe make the child a boy & name him after his FATHER, GABE 😒 like the mother makes NO SENSE

soo unexpected 🥹😭

Angel, Lucky, Dante, Royal, Jaxon and Gabe story continued in this final book.

They rescued Gabe at the end of the last book and King is still out there. This was so not what I expected from the ending of their story. I understand why it was the way it is. I cried it broke my heart.

This entire series was an amazing and would definitely recommend. Why choose, told in DPOV.

Great ending to the series

Wow! What a finish to this series. It was a wild rollercoaster ride in this one for emotions, especially towards the end. It's a must-read. The author brought all of the story arcs to a close.
I love Angel and how much of a bada$$ of a female character she is throughout this book. Of course, we all love Dante, Lucky, Royal, and Jax. But Gabe takes the cake in this one.

Absolutely horrible

After waiting almost a year for this book because the date kept being pushed back again and again and again, we got this really crappy ending. She honestly could’ve kept this book. Like I’ve always been quick to but her books and stuff (even if they were more like novellas than actual books) but this was the last straw. 0/10. Do not recommend. Please save your money. I would rate this 0 stars if I could.

Good

I liked this book better than the last one. While I can agree that the writing was good, I have to admit that this series probably wasn't for me. I didn't like Angel. I didn't mind her guys, but I just couldn't relate to her. I know it's because she was 19, and she definitely had no maturity like most19 year olds. I could never get past her bringing Gabriel into the relationship. It never made sense to me. She had 4 guys that she'd loved her whole life and she wanted them. But they leave for 3 months, without notifying her, and all those years disappear and she needs to screw one of their fathers? I just couldn't get over it. I didn't mind Gabriel, per say, but he was old enough to be her father. I just couldn't accept him sleeping with her and wanting her. Her wanting him bothered me more him wanting her. She had boyfriends, he didn't have a girlfriend. It really disgusted me.
Furthermore, the whole baby thing... While it may be realistic, I didn't care for that scenario. A 19 year old getting knocked up (I won't say who daddy is), is not my idea of exciting or romantic. And all her guys just falling into line because it's all about her and the baby? Um, no! Unrealistic. I don't care how much they love her. That's not realistic at all. At least accepting it that quickly isn't. Maybe after the baby was born and they knew who the father was... Maybe. But it just wasn't convincing. All the lies. All the drama. Definitely makes for a good plot. However, I just couldn't relate to it. So I give this series 4 stars since the plot and story were fine. I can't give it 5 stars because I couldn't relate with the characters.

I loved this 3rd book

its short and ties up all the loose ends

it lost a star for yet again going on m on about how perfect angel is, yeah we hot that from the previous book. do you not know how perfect is boring af?

yes game had to die, how would it have worked angel having sex with him n his son? Dante couldn't have dealt with that now could him

meeting Gloria in heaven was a nice touch, I have to admit my eyes teared up. I actually loved this chapter.

if only childbirth went do to plan. in UK unless we are being induced which they fo if you're about 10 days overdue you only go to jidpiral when you are well in labour. so that scene was a bit weird.

calling gabes baby Gloria was a nice touch. a name born of love n devotion, I font know what reviewers are fussing about.

all in all a good series, spoilt by the authors penchant for making the fmc perfect and the dialogue to at times be corny, roll your eyes bad.

looking forward to caddies story though at only 17 I hope the authors let's get grow out of childhood first before embarking on her rh journey. 17 is young, as in child still.

Angel is messy lol

Man oh man did I fall absolutely in love with this entire series. This has completely given a whole new outlook to my favorite thing to say of I’m at the age of I can date you or your daddy LOL and maybe I should take it more serious because now it just sounds fun yet super messy at the same time?! Yeah my poor therapist will always have a job. Oh well! But the only thing was I felt like this final book was super rushed. I wanted so much more. I got my closure but I still have questions and I don’t know it seemed like it was missing something to me. Don’t get me wrong I definitely liked it but I think I have other books in the series that were my favorite. There’s still plenty of spicy scenes with Angel and her men and nonstop drama amongst them. No shortage there that’s for sure. I’m just going to cross my fingers that we get a surprise extra book somewhere down the road lol. A girl can wish right?

Wow

I can't stop sobbing omg that ending gutted me absolutely gutted me.

I have complaints though

I waited months and this was way to short

There was a bunch of misspellings as well

I feel like these characters deserved alot better than this

10/5

I get why it ended with Gabe dying but damn that was sad and he deserved better.
He was the one everyone thought was the villain and in reality he never was.
He was the one in my opinion who deserved happiness and to be with Angel more than anyone. It hits me he’s gone. I love what happened next but by the Goddess I don’t think I’ll ever recover.

The only thing with King was extremely anticlimactic and ended rather abruptly. I feel like the book needed more. It lacked a lot for me.

I only rated it so highly because of Gabe and how he died and how much I love his character

This book definitely left a lot to be desired

Well, it most certainly has been a rollercoaster ride for all characters. A lot of push and pull within the different relationships has taken place and it seems that none of the characters manage to get a break from the havoc that surrounds them.

I really liked the boys as they did withstand all storms as a united front, regardless of what the FMC threw their way. If that is not loyalty and devotion, then I do not know what is. A side character that i really liked was Cassie and it would be great if she gets her own story.

Despite all the traumatic experiences that Gabriel has been through, I found it difficult to overcome his treatment of Dante throughout the books as for me at least, nothing could possibly justify such choices.

The story was interesting and it kept me curious throughout.

Reckless Love is book four in Reapers of Havoc MC series by Ashlee M. Edmonds. It’s a Contemporary MC romance.

💜 strong FMC
💜 rival motorcycle clubs
💜 found family
💜 forgiveness
💜 🌶🌶🌶 spice

This book picks right up where the last one left off. Gabriel, Royal, and Lucky are all taken to the hospital after the raid to get King. Angel and Cassie are at the house trying to figure out what just happened. Dante and Jax have arrived to see the destruction and mess around the house and girls. Can they all make it through this? Will Angel and the guys be able to come together and work everything out? What will happen to Gabriel and King?

This last book was good with all of the twists and turns that are added throughout. I liked how Angel worked through everything and tried to keep a level head when there was chaos happening all around her. It shows how much people can love.

2.5 stars

I have enjoyed this series since the first book, which, frankly was just showing the author's development as a new writer. Fast pace, entertaining, sexy, even if the writing style was in its growth. Then book 2.5 packed so much feeling, a change of heart and redemption with a twist in character dynamics that was captivating.

I'm sad to report that final and would be capstone book wasn't as appealing as the rest of the series. Book 4, in fact, did an injustice to the romance of the story. With this ending, also abrupt ending, the series which was initially alluring and gritty, since the writing style was not as rich or mature, lost its charm and was, instead, alienating. Why?

So bittersweet to see the end of a series. I have loved these characters and there story. Angel is a bad ass and so passionate and determined and just all around an amazing FMC. Jaxon, Dante, Lucky and Royal are some dangerously delicious men. There banter and there fighting with one another always got me going. But my favorite thing was seeing them all with Angel in there own special way. Through the chaos that there life brought them they always pushed through the thick out it and found a way for it to work out. This was a great series and if you like suspense, action, dark, with delicious bikers this is a series for you!

Reckless Love is the fifth and final book of Reapers of Havoc series and I'm so sad that it's now over. I really enjoyed this series and felt like it could've lasted longer. I love all the characters but Gabe will always hold a special place in my heart..

𝐵𝑢𝑡 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑣𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑎𝑖𝑛 𝒉𝑎𝑠 𝑎 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤𝒉𝑒𝑛 𝒉𝑒 𝑠𝒉𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑑 𝒉𝑖𝑠 𝑤𝑖𝑡𝒉 𝑚𝑒, 𝑚𝑦 𝒉𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝒉𝑎𝑑 𝑛𝑜 𝑐𝒉𝑜𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑓𝑎𝑙𝑙.

This book is fast paced and gets right to the point from start to finish. I've said it before and I'll continue to say but this book really broke me and once you read it you'll know why. The ending was bittersweet and I really wish it ended differently but the way Ashlee wrote the ending gave everyone a slice of their HEA.

This story was so addictive, i loved the characters, the steam and the emotion.....who knew and MC romance could pack this kind of punch!? The emotion had me choked up...i cant believe how things happened at the end?? i know i am not the only reader who was hoping for a different outcome, but that said i understand why the author ended it the way she did.
i loved this story so much....my only criticism is how the author has spread this series out over so many books when it could have easily been condensed into a duet...so annoying as just when things get really exciting you have to buy the next book!! (cant fault the writing or story though hence 4 stars)

that ending.

When I say I devoured this series I mean I devoured it. All four books in less than 24 hours and I didn’t want it to end. M

My little black heart was ripped apart multiple times, it just didn’t stop. They never were able to catch a break. I almost feel like Angel is Meredith Grey with all the traumatic event she goes through.

Not going to lie I’m PISSED about Gabe. That was just cruel. Can’t make me love the villain and then do him like that. 🤣

But in the end, I loved every single person, except King, he’s a nightmare. I laughed, through my phone, and cried but loved every word of it.

Worst last book ever.

I don't know if this author was rushed when she was completing the last book of this series or what? But it just brings down the entire series to begin with. The series was not very good, slow movie. The factor of the father and the son Even though he wasn't blood, I was just as bad. I just could not get into it. I finished the series because it did. Don't like anything being unfinished. Only one book is on audio and the rest are not which to me is ridiculous. If you're going to do one, you might as well do the mall, I just did not like it. Read at your own peril.

The Reapers of Havoc MC has come to an end and I was not expecting everything that happened. Characters that you loved, and those you loved to hate, ahem, King. Angel realizes she needs all the guys, Jaxson, Dante, Lucky, Royal and Gabe rallying around her for protection, though she’s handled her own quite well. The twists I didn’t see coming and I’m sad to see this series end. Full of violence, revenge, secrets, tension, angst, surprises, danger, spice and so much more. Can’t wait to read what Ashlee has for us next.

Reckless Love

The final book in the Reapers of Havoc MC follows the last leg of Angel and her men's journey as secrets come to light and King is found.

It's bittersweet that this series is now over and the ending is equally bittersweet, even though you knew it was coming. I love the men that Angel has and how understanding they've been (mostly). Gabe was a strong character in this book and really tugged at my heart strings this time. I adored all of the characters and the connections they had and am so sad that it's over now!

Reckless Love is the final book in the Reapers of Havoc series and man did it rock me! I was enthralled with Angel and her guys and completely binged this whole series in little more than a day. I absolutely LOVED it. I had all the emotions and this final book wrecked me. I actually cried! Such a great story with plenty of good plot and just enough spice! And man, that SPICE! THE DIRTY TALK! In this whole series! Gah! The main characters and side characters were amazing! Cant wait to read all of Cassies story! Definitely recommend this whole series!
