What would you do if a stranger challenged you to a 24-hour bet?
Year after year, seventeen-year-old Sephora counts down to spring break. For a week, she has the chance to be whoever she wants with whomever she wants, forgetting the chaos of life the second school lets out.
She wasn’t planning on this spring break being any different than others…until she met Lucas—the tall blond who was about to disrupt everything.
Neither expected their chance encounter to lead them to spend twenty-four hours together. Hour by hour, Sephora and Lucas open up to each other in a way that can only be embraced when you’re young, finding the other to be exactly what they needed. It’s clear to them that this is more than just a fling.
There’s only one problem. They’re on a cruise, and cruises don’t last forever.

A cute story with likable characters! I'm not normally a romance-novel person, but I still enjoyed this quite a bit. A quick (if you aren't hindered by school and whatnot, that is... darn GoodReads keeping track of my every move!) and fun read. I'd recommend it! ^.^
This books was a fast and fun story that follows two teenagers on a cruise ship vacation and the adventures they get into. When our FMC spills her ice cream on the MMC, we are catapulted into a 24 hour saga where they not only learn about each other but also themselves. While this isn't my usual preferred genre of reading, I really enjoyed the pace of writing as well as the emotional journey / depth that is provided. If you're looking for a cute read with a little drama, give this book a read!
The book is the perfect teen romance exploring 24 hours between sephora and lucas. The relationship builds naturally and isnt rushed like in many romance novels. I can’t help but wonder what followed the 24 hours! This was such a light and easy read for me i flew through it in just a few hours. Recommend to anyone looking for an easy read sweet romance.
let me start off by saying this book was so cute!! this is a YA romance book about 2 characters, sephora and lucas, who meet on a cruise & because of a bet have to spend 24 hours together.
i am an AVID cruise gal, and reading this book brought me so much nostalgia about all the cruises that i’ve been on. especially during the parts where they were exploring the ship and trying to find stuff to do on the ship, i was really taken back to the memories and fun times of all my cruises.
the love story between sephora and lucas was adorable and it had be giggling and kicking my feet while i was reading it. if you want a SUPER cute & fun read, you should definitely check this book out!!l
Diving into the story of Sephora and Lucas kept myself wanting more and more as the two main character’s bet continued throughout each hour. Within the first few hours, I was hooked and invested into their relationship and how it would drive the story.
What would you do if you lost a bet with a stranger & now you have to spend 24 hours with them? Sephora finds herself in this situation with another cruise mate, Lucas Jennings. This book is a YA romance novel between two 17 year olds who slowly fall In love after spending 24 hours with each other. This book made me realize how much I like the insta love romance trope, it was done really well in this book. Although, they spent 24 hours with each other and developed feelings for each other in that time, the book shows how they learned about each other lives and their fears. They spent each hour getting to know each other and found out that they had a lot of things in common. I think Sephora is very relatable with her overthinking & anxiety. However, she kept repeating how she felt about “falling in love”. I felt Lucas was very hot & cold. He said sweet things at times and then was kind of rude. I also didn’t like the 3rd act break up 😩. However, the ending was so bittersweet. It was such a good closing to the novel. If you want a super cute, easy romance read, I definitely recommend this book!💞
I had the opportunity to read this book and let me tell you I loved it so so much
