Sixteen-year-old Roweena has enough problems already when malicious, beady-eyed gremlins invade her homeland. Against her father’s wishes, she flees the safety of her castle to save her people and finds herself developing feelings for one of the invading gremlins. To make matters worse, he is none other than Keenan, son of the merciless lord of the gremlins himself. Lord Adelpho insists on nothing less than death as the penalty for failure, even for his own son. With the help of Stina, an excitable pixie, and Marrick, a sage of the forgotten elven arts, Roweena must figure out where her loyalties lie. Will love prevent her from helping the ones who need her most?
