Excellent book covering all aspects of the academic liaison's duties. A must-read for all new liaisons and library students. Also an excellent book of reference for existing liaisons.
As promised, an incredibly basic overview of liaison librarianship. I gleaned a few things, but a lot of what is in here I have picked up or observed on the job. While it did give me a few ideas of ways to get started as a liaison, there was also a ton of really commercial, strange, and sometimes sexist stuff in here. Would not recommend to someone else in my position.
