Carlotta and the Krius Scepter

Rate this book
From the author of the Wizard's Series comes the first story in another fantasy series, this time set in contemporary America.

A beautiful naked girl wakes up in a seedy hotel room with no memory of who she is.

She finds a note telling her that her name is Carlotta. A quick test proves it is in her handwriting. There is a letter with the note, but it isn’t for her.

Thus starts a dark fantasy, filled with violence, sex, vampires, werewolves, more sex, and more violence. Carlotta is to discover that she has been many things, but none of them human. She seems to be living a film noir movie. Unfortunately the danger she faces is completely real.

Carlotta has been sent to save a kidnap victim, along the way she will discover that her real task is to save the world.

A story that brings ancient evil face to face with the world's hidden protectors and finds they are one and the same. Take a ride with Carlotta. You won't regret it.

Cool book. I'll be reading the next one for sure. Story had some parts that could probably be refined a bit. Not sure if I'm really into the kid following Carlotta around but I'll give it a shot. Feels like it should be Carlottas story but the authors also trying to add in a coming to age story for the boy following her around.
