Now we're back on track. This was definitely much more exciting than the last book. I found that I was confused for a moment because Kyle's fathers power transferred to that lunatic Lawrence instead of him. But considering his father's DNA was floating around in that mad man, I guess it made sense. Father Webster (is that his name? Maybe not. Doesn't matter) was a complete fanatical, monstrous lunatic. And his apprentice, though not AS bad was no better. Darcy and Richard showed up right on time to save the day (thank Gawd). Can't wait to see what happens next!

I think this is an incredible series. Now that I am three books in, I can't stop reading. I need to see how it plays out.
The author takes an interesting bit of biblical mythology and combines it with genetic elemental magic to create a conflict that is surprisingly easy to relate to.

The books keep staying on the same course and are enjoyable. I hope the final two books finish strong.
