HER HEART FOR THE ASKING Mandy Morgan swore she'd never step foot in Texas again after Beau Gentry left her for life on the rodeo circuit eight years before. But now her uncle's heart is failing and she has to convince him that surgery will save his life. She never dreamed the first thing she'd see when she stepped off the plane would be her biggest nightmare...the one man she'd never stopped loving.
Beau Gentry had the fever for two things: the rodeo and Mandy Morgan. But for Beau, loving Mandy was complicated by his father's vendetta against her uncle. This led him to make the hardest decision of his life and he can still see the bitterness and hurt on Mandy's face. All these years it has killed him to think Mandy had forgotten him and moved as far away as possible from him. But now they're back in Texas, and he's going to do all he can to win back her love.
HIS HEART FOR THE TRUSTING Ever since Mitch Broader set foot in Texas, he dreamed of owning his own ranch. Now that he's bought a share in the Double T Ranch, he's one step closer to the dream. Then his past greets him in the form of a baby basket, complete with infant and birth certificate naming him as the father. He can't change diapers and work toward his dream at the same time.
When Sara Lightfoot, "Miss Hollywood" in Mitch's eyes, rescues him with her particular knack for handling his precocious son, he hires her on the spot as a temporary nanny. No matter how much Sara's dark eyes and warm heart make this bachelor think of making their arrangement permanent, she's made it perfectly clear she has other plans that don't include him or his dreams.
Sara Lightfoot never thought she'd return to her home on the reservation. Now she plans to reclaim the life she left by going back to the reservation as a Native American storyteller, teaching the Apache children stories of their culture. She didn't expect Mitch Broader's sexy smile or job offer as a live-in nanny to derail those plans. After all she's been through to come home, can she open up her heart once again to love?
THE MORE I SEE As a top-notch cutting horse trainer, Cody Gentry was riding high until he lost his eyesight after a freak chemical accident. Unable to see the hand in front of his face, never mind the horse or cattle he trained, he knows his life is over and slips deep into depression. His whole future hinges on the success of an eye surgery that could give him his old life back.
When guide dog trainer, Lyssa McElhannon, arrives on his ranch like Florence Nightingale coming to save him, he wants no part of her or her guide dog. But something about Lyssa's musical laugh coupled with her tenacity digs under his skin and won't let go. Having been blind most of her life, Lyssa understands the paralyzing fear Cody feels after losing his vision. But she refuses to let the stubborn cowboy waste his life away sitting in a chair when she knows first-hand that a good guide dog can change his world. She just needs one month to prove it to him.
Falling in love with Cody was not part of Lyssa's plan, nor was having him open her eyes to see that there was a whole lot of living she'd been missing.

Three books in a boxed set, three lovely stories set on and around a ranch in Texas. Although she was determined never to return to Texas after Beau broke her heart, Mandy must do just that, because her uncle's heart is failing, and her help is needed to convince him of surgery. Much to her surprise, Beau is working for her uncle - and the chemistry between them still sizzles. Mitch, having bought a share in the Double T Ranch, is quite suprised to have baby thrust at him by his ex-wife, expecting him to look after his little son. Mitch needs help, quickly, and seems to find it in Sarah, who reluctantly agrees to help him out for the time being, but she makes it clear she has other plans after coming home to the reservation. She quickly falls in love with the little baby, but it wouldn't do to fall for his father, would it? Horse trainer Cody, turned blind after an accident, is slipping deeper and deeper into depression. His father hires guide dog trainer Lyssa, and dog Otis, to try and show him that life can go on. Cody wants nothing to do with it, but Lyssa is as obstinate as he is. Three very predictable and sometimes quite unrealistic stories, with equally unrealistic behaviour, at least in my experience, by the protagonists, however, sweet stories, with very likeable characters, nice plots and a very good narration style. Quite enjoyable, if it weren't for the numerous grammar and spelling errors, which took out a bit of the joy in reading this. Still, I would like to read more in this series.
This set of books were really quite good and it was nice that each was so different from the others. They were all romantic and each told a good story and I really didn’t want them to end. They each had enough body to keep you interested from beginning to end. I’d tell you more but wouldn’t want to spoil them for you.Even the last book, that after starting I thought where can this go...well it sure showed me and kept my interest.I hope they do the same for you!
Good stories, gppd, interesting characters, with ranching background niceloy filled out. This would have been a 5-star review jf not for the editing.
Somebody missed changes in tense several times, and there were problems going from active tense to past tense, or the reverse. When a story flows smoothly reading is easy. A misplaced d after an e makes for a jarring read.
Why do so many romance stories about normal people have scenes where one falls into water, manure, mud, or snow and pulls the other down as a joke? I have never in 75 years known any reasonable adults who think this is cute or funny, and when characters do I lose all interest in them.
A wonderful wholesome and clean book void of slutty language and graphic pornography. Wonderful stories unfolding themselves naturally and, in the process, teaching the reader about ranch life and blindness. It was a pleasure to read stories that did not concentrate on the f-word and graphic sex, letting the series evolve naturally instead- Thank you
Sorry but I found this set of books totally boring. I tried several times to get through them, but just couldn't. Didn't hold my interest at all. I don't recommend them at all.
These were really great books. Each brings such different characters but each of their lives intertwine with each other. Can't wait to read more in the series.
These stories were simple, sweet, love stories. I felt like they were resolved rather suddenly. There are no sex scenes in these stories if that is something you prefer.
Three sweet and thoughtful romances with compelling characters and engaging premises in a picturesque setting. Sometimes the writing annoyed me, though.
3 standalones yet tied together. The Gentry boys & their friends. Strong women either from their pasts or present, wrap up tight & you have a winning romance series
Her heart for the asking- I felt short changed, great story build up with some background but it felt like it just had a hurry ending. Changes p.o.v's so Keep a look out for that.
His heart for the trusting- Formal cowpoke for the Double T. now a partner of the ranch will get a very small but big surprise one day of is two week old newborn son. His ex just left the baby at the ranch and high tailed it out of there. He doesn't know the first thing about human babies. His savior shows up half hour later in the form of Sara Lightfoot, Alice's daughter and Mandy's best friend. She will be his savior in more ways then to help him with his son.
The more I see One of the Gentry brothers, Cody, met Beau in the first story, but you will see Beau in this one quite a bit. Cody lost his eye sight from a moisture of drain cleansers, a greenhouse on the ranch mixed a lot a lot of different cleansers together but Cody save the kid but got the burns and the damage instead. His dad Mike finds a program for home trainers and dogs, and when Lyrssa and her dog Otis came out to the ranch she finds a very moody Cody sitting by the pool, depressed, he's been like this for 8 months. Her job is only to get Cody and Otis to work as a team and to help Cody understand what the dog does and how he is there to help Cody. Lyrssa never thought her job with him will take a turn into a deeper connection then what she ever planed for.
The stories were very simple with the same basic plot surrounding all of them, but I couldn't put it down!! They were so engaging and fun. It really made me eat my words about simple writing. I. Would highly recommend these books to anyone who may be interested in a light, fun, and charming read.
I really like this set. I like how one book plays into the next. So yes there are 3 stories but i really felt it was one huge continuing story with each book featuring another Texas cowboy from the overall family story. I like how there is a tug to the heart strings in each book. Keep it up Lisa! I enjoy your stories.
This is a surprising series. I loved the three different story lines, with modern day issues. Wrapped up in the Western cowboy theme. The relationships were chemistry laden and clean!
Good read, good cowboys, good love. Lots of passion felt, but no sex. Very romantic, a few sad places in the stories, but happily ever after. Highly recommend.
