The Everything Health Guide to Fibromyalgia is a complete handbook to this complicated disease. Written with an authoritative yet accessible tone, readers will find helpful information on understanding the basics of fibromyalgia and learn to recognize its symptoms. Includes helpful insight
Helpful information for persons suffering from fibromyalgia, and for their families. I occasionally read parts to my husband. I believe it helped him understand that I'm not a hypochondriac and that, even though there is no definitive diagnosis, this is a serious illness that is difficult to live with and to treat.
This is a great "starter" book and one I would recommend for friends and families of fibro patients. It is very easy to read with lots of information that is easy to follow.
I thought this book was a great overview. I think this will be a good one to recommend to my close friends and family who want to understand what is happening to me.
This thing took me forever to read, because these kind of books tend to be so boring. Despite that, there was some valuable information in here that I wasn't actually aware of. I really hadn't know the connection between FMS and some of the other medical conditions that I had been suffering.
Glad I read this but also glad to be done with it! Wanna read something more fun now!
Info not as good as the 2014 published-by-Oxford-written-by-a-doctor book I read on the topic (understandably), but a lot of helpful, practical, encouraging advice. Way more than that other book! :D
