This is basically a little something for those of us that need an epilogue or a happier ending than what we were left with in Delinquents.

I mean, sure, the ending was intriguing but just to be left hanging is so unfair considering everything we went through. And I was thrilled to find it:

The End: Dusty Futuretake:

But it's not all sunshine and rainbows, oh no...there's tons of drama. You will love Thomas and you will hate him but as always these authors tried to keep Thomas' addiction real.

description

I did enjoy it although I was a tad unhappy about what happened on a particular day.

♦ BTW - this is written with the Twilight character's names...a bit confusing but easy to figure out.

He has one foot in the grave, and I've got a hold of the other, making sure he doesn't slip in. But if he falls, I do, too.
The Futuretake made me cry way too much for being so short. No other book can pull emotion out of me the way Dusty can. It was a very realistic continuation of Dusty and hurt my heart but left me with a feeling of hope too. With only 56 pages the author has managed to put me in yet another major book hangover. I can't wait for the second part.
Then one day we got older and our problems became real

"Romeo and Juliet? Bonnie and Clyde?
Courtney and Kurt? We're Bliss and Dusty."

Dusty is one of the best books I have ever read. This is a continuation, a look into the future, for Edward and Bella. I cannot wait for part two! Dusty is pure brilliance.

UGH! This was just as frustrating as Dusty! But I loved every second. These two make me so mad,I was so proud of Dusty, then he keeps letting me down! Then Bliss, enabling, but wanting him to change and get help, then not wanting him to leave when he wants to actually go. I understand she doesn't want to be alone, but damn, woman!!!Frustrating. But it was AMAZING!!!! I can't wait for part 2!! I need it like tomorrow, lol. I Dusty to be okay, I was scared for a second, my heart dropped.
I want Alice to be okay! I want everyone to make up and be okay, the journey has been amazing, I could see this story going on and on, which I hope it does! Thank you for the best fanfic EVER! and again, possibly best stuff I've ever read, and I've read a lot ;-)Now I need to watch Twilight, and imagine Dusty <3

“Tell me what you want for your birthday, kid,” “I’ll give you anything, Bliss.”

So I loved the ending of Dusty and almost enough to NOT read this. However, the opportunity came about and I just couldn't pass it up. I'm weak! This proves what I felt all along: they're really just NOT good for each other. I love how it moved along quickly and is great for all those people wanting an HEA. I'm actually rating this 4 stars with the last line Dusty says getting a star all it's own. "Bliss, I want to go." At that, it was all worth it for me. Thanks for the crazy ride that was Dusty and Bliss. I can't wait to own the book!

I probably shouldn't have read this, but I couldn't help myself. I needed to know how Dusty and Bliss' relationship panned out. Well, I'm devastated to say that nothing really has changed. The characters are a little older, the love more still terrifying, and Dusty has graduated to even harder drugs. Why? I'm desperate for a happily ever after with them. This futuretake ends with too many questions. I suppose I'm supposed to decide how I want Bliss and Dusty's future to go, but I can't. I need the Elizabeths to tell me! And I need it to be good! Dusty can't die, ok!

I loved Dusty and I love Mary's writing but not sure I can take anymore of Bella and Dusty. I was aggravated with Dusty in the main book and felt bad for Bella. They seemed like they were stuck between a rock and a hard place. Now I just want to hit them both in the head with a Rock! I might change my mind come January but I will make sure I am in the proper mood for it. :o)

I adore the author's style. Well done for writing this for your fans...and we love you for that!!! This story is one of those that sticks with you. I love every crazy thing about them. I truly hope this is not the end to these characters?!? Please Mary, *fingers crossed* that we can see a futuretake part 2!!!

Very realistic continuation of Bliss and Dusty's story. Although the last chapter of the original story was beautifully written (with a glimmer of hope), not knowing what the future held for them just felt (to me) abrupt and wrong. It is close to what I imagined would happen after the open ending of the original story. I am so glad that TeamBella23 decided to give us her view of what happened, it is so much better reading it in her words than anything I could have thought of. Am anxiously anticipating reading part 2 of the futuretake. Highly recommend reading this!

I guess this was only "part 1" but I sure wan't thrilled with what is becoming Bliss and Dusty's reality. The story seems extremely rushed and not at all as engaging as Dusty was. I'll wait patiently for the next part and hope it is pulled together a bit more.

The drug addict and the enabler are together and are now adults but some things never change. Dusty is worse than ever and Bliss, she's just happy he's still alive.

I feel bad for saying this, because I absolutely adored Dusty. It made feel a whole chaos of emotions, I sobbed at the end, smiled, cried some more, etc. You get the point.

When I saw that there was an extra part of their story, I had a feeling I shouldn't have read it. The way Dusty had ended had oddly satisfied me because their future could be anything I wanted.
But like the characters in the book, I was addicted and couldn't resist the urge to read the extra ending of their story.

I just finished this, and I feel so sad, and angry at myself, wah lol. I wish I would have listened to my wiser self. I don't know why, but this ending I hated. I disliked Bliss, and felt her to be weak and actually BAD for Dusty. She was really abusive and not good for him.
And then Dusty, I felt like he didn't love her as much as he used to, and ugh I don't know this book just sort of wrecked them, I hated it. I'm gonna try really hard to remember the Dusty and Bliss I loved in the first book, even with the bittersweet ending "Hello." I liked that ending and really I'm just rambling but I'm so upset I don't like how their story ended in this Futuretake )))):

I just... couldn't finish this. I felt that it was tainting my overall impression and feeling that I had after finishing the Dusty books, and that's the very last thing I wanted. So it wasn't that it was poorly written, or that I didn't crave the idea of reading more about these characters, I just chose to be satisfied with where the authors intended the story to end.

Here's a copy of the story -
