I really liked this book! It really captured some of the issues that interracial daters go through - particularly when trying to determine if someone is being nice or is really interested in you (although girlie was in major denial)...and the internal struggle / strength to date interracially in the South.

She had issues yes but she did not fall into bed with him as soon as they meet which i loved. Other books make woman seen easy because they fall into bed with men they feel a connection with. She smart and successful without being overly sexual. Love both books.

Ugh!! This chick frustrates me to know end. The man has said and done everything except get a sky writer!! And she still second guess his feelings!!! But I'm loving Axel.

Kerrigan has major trust issues for a girl who's never had a boyfriend. At times I wanted to jump in the story and say "wake up girl Axel likes you".
