This short, 2-part ebook describes the author's journey through the darkness of anxiety and PTSD. In the first section she detailed her personal experiences, and in the second section she used scientific research to explain what had caused her symptoms and her recovery. Throughout the book, the author tied in Biblical truths. I really appreciated her balanced approach of using scriptures, prayer, counseling, and medicine to ultimately bring her out of the downward spiral of fear and anxiety.

This is a short, but very powerful account of one woman's incredible challenges of living in Haiti just before the terrible earthquake. She and her family - including three adopted Haitian children - barely manage to escape the island in safety. Jennifer is honest and vulnerable on how the extreme trials from the years previous eventually took their toll on her. Yet also how she found hope and healing over time. Well-written and truly helpful.
