Sacred Hearts Coven #3

Jack and Ginger

Rate this book
Ginger Thorn has lost everything.

Struggling to deal with the truth of her devastating divorce, which pales in comparison to the heartache she feels in losing her father, Ginger attempts to regain her once familiar life. She has decided to start fresh by moving into her father’s condo and taking a chance on a new business venture.

When Ginger reunites with her friend, Jasinda, she has no idea that this beguiling woman will help bring magic not only into her career path, but also a little spice into her love life. Ginger’s life gets a bit complicated, but she never suspected that fate, and possibly a bewitching spell from the Sacred Hearts Coven, will give her a shot at love.

Will their enchantment be enough to bring this lost soul a second chance, or will she let her shattered trust and heart stop her deepest desire?

:D What a delightful story about finding love again <3

Song Choice: "Halo" by Ana Brun

First thoughts: I thought this was a delightful, light, sweet tale about finding love again. Ginger is going through a bit of a rough patch and what she needs is a little magic in her life. This is my first Sacred Hearts Coven book and I adored it :) I think this was a quick, fast-paced but filling read. I think it is a perfect read for anyone who is looking for a good sexy read about new starts

Thoughts on Plot: I think that as a avid paranormal reader that this is the perfect mix of paranormal and contemporary, if you want a dash of paranormal, but not completely submerge into the paranormal genre this is what you should read. Ginger is going through a bit of a rough patch, after losing her father, and getting a divorce, its time for her to move on. And coincidences and faith have worked together in order to help her out. I enjoyed this very light-hearted sexy read. Again this book was a perfect mix of sexy with sweet and just really amazing.

Characters:

Ginger: She was sweet, strong and determined. Once she decided to do something she went after head first and was willing to go the extra mile in order to get what she wanted. I loved that she really picked herself up and moved forward in her business life and her love life

Jack: Hello sexy, at first I was a little off-put because he was a bit older than I am use to but you know what, he was sexy as hell and the man was a charmer. I loved the relationship that brought Ginger and Jack together and I really liked how they interacted, he was a fantastically amazing guy

The ending: Super awesome I loved how it ended.

While the title says that this is book 3 in the series, you can totally pick this book up and understand everything that is going on. The author has made sure that the blanks were filled in for new readers and it refreshes seasoned readers minds with details throughout the story. I love this series and this author! She makes reading so much fun and brings her characters to a whole new level with the way in which she describes them, binds them together and creates a family among the families in the book.

Jack and Ginger are both unknowingly being brought together by not just the coven, but by fate itself. Jack is friends with Ginger's father and a tragedy brings them together along with Jazz and her husband. It is a story that shows that fate will intervene along with good friends in order to make people happy. Jack and Ginger are both die-hard football fans and anyone that enjoys sports will love the banter that they bring to the book about their beloved team....in this case, the Chicago Bears....

I enjoyed the storyline and the plot and it is an original one, that hasn't been over-done by so many other authors out there! I know that this book and series is sure to be a hit on everyone's list. Make sure you add it to your TBR list today and you won't be sorry! It's a great feel good read...Enjoy!

Jack and Ginger is a heartfelt story about a woman getting through tough times, making positive life changes, and finding love. It is an inspiring, empowering, and sensual novel all rolled into one with a hint of magic. It is very easy to read and leaves the reader feeling uplifted as well as aroused. Ginger is easy to relate to and you'll find your heart breaking for her at times and then rejoicing at her accomplishments. Jack is sexy in every way imaginable and has the ability to fulfill ALL of her needs ; )

This is a story of a woman learning to empower herself despite the fact that life has not been good to her. She makes changes in her life and finds love with the sexy Jack, he is good for her. It's an emotional and sensual story all rolled into one and I really enjoyed it. I love the fact that to me there is a lesson woven in about being able to make it through anything and being able to empower yourself. I would definitely recommend for everyone to read this.

Review:

This series just keeps getting better with every book. Unfortunately, this is the last book of this series, and it is the best one yet. I am sorry to see this series come to an end. I have enjoyed reading about these women and their witchcraft making romance. In this last book Ginger is trying to repair her broken life. Her marriage has just ended in divorce and her best friend (her dad) has just past away. Jasinda’s spell is a little different. It is not a spell to find love, but a spell to help her choose the correct path to happiness. This path also involves Jasinda.

The plot of the book has Ginger returning to the bar that her and her dad frequented during football season. Seeing that Ginger needs help, Jasinda makes a special request to the Sacred Hearts Coven. A bunch of coincidences not only has Ginger meeting a new man, but an opportunity to join Jasinda in business. The chemistry between Ginger and Jack is just meant to be. Again for a short story, the author proves that you don’t need a bunch of words to write an interesting, fun story. Great ending with believable characters even if this is a paranormal romance.

This short story had my emotions all over the place. Ginger lost her Father over the summer and was still grieving. It made me miss my Dad so much! Ginger and her Dad would go to Jasinda's bar for the foot ball games, Bears Fan.
Jasinda and her Sisters made a salt scrub to help Ginger's heart to open and work out all the pain. Jasinda and Steve was talking about adding a restaurant to their bar. Ginger was thinking of starting her own. They meshed together and brought in Jack Redford to help get it off the ground. Needless to say, the bath salts did more than help her through her pain.
I think this one is my favorite. I was just as nervous as Ginger on her surprise trip. I cried at the plaque. I love how it all fell into place. Good! Good! Good Book!
