Biggest weakness: A sweet 'n' sexy gal who drives him to distraction!
Luke Berringer used to have everything—money, status. And just like that, he lost it all. Now a bodyguard for Berringer Security, he's determined to track down the woman responsible for ruining his life. But when he finally catches up with Vanessa Grant, he's in for one heck of a surprise….
Vanessa is no con artist. It's a case of mistaken identity, and worse for Luke, the woman has a hidden sensuality that he can't resist. With her life in jeopardy, Luke must protect an innocent woman, track down a guilty one…and determine if maybe the "wrong woman" isn't really the right one, after all!
Samantha Hunter grew up in the Finger Lakes Region and now resides in Syracuse, NY with her husband. She showed early interest in being a writer when she signed her name as the author of an encyclopedia when she was seven years old. As an adult, she has published over 25 romance and mystery novels with new ones on the horizon.
Sam loves to travel and is always inspired by the places she's been, sharing her experiences with readers through her stories. She is also a serial hobbyist and volunteers for local animal shelters (which means she's always trying to figure out how to take more dogs and/or cats home!).

Luke Berringer is out for revenge against the woman who turned his life upside down 6 years ago and he won't rest until he has found her and put her behind bars- where she belongs. After receiving a tip about her whereabouts, he meets Vanessa Grant who he believes is the woman he's been searching for only to discover that actually she really isn't. The two end up teaming together to find the woman Luke is really out for (as is Vanessa but both for different reasons) and head out together in an adventure in Puerto Rico. They also find unexpected but not totally unwelcome passion along the way.
I liked the book, it was a light, fun read with adventure, danger and romance thrown in the mix. I liked that Vanessa wasn't portrayed as some weak, whiny heroine who cries in the corner when things get rough.
"With likable characters, steamy action and a fairly well-thought-out plot, this fourth edition of the Berringers series is likely to keep readers turning the pages until the very end". (RT Book Reviews, rated 4 stars)
