Love was a four-letter word, and trust was an even worse five-letter word that Joy Marshall had no patience for. Young, beautiful and a successful attorney, Joy is any man’s dream, but since her life became a nightmare after her father divorced her mother, she wants nothing to do with the heartache that love can bring.
Lance Bryant isn’t fooled by Joy’s cold hearted exterior. He knew she was the one for him at first sight, and would stop at nothing to help her find her way back to love. But even the charismatic Lance Bryant is no match for the pain that has been inflicted on her heart. Joy will need a spiritual intervention that only God can bring if she is ever to truly open her heart and mind to the possibility of love for a lifetime.
The Marshall family discovers that although weeping may endure for a night, Joy Comes in the Morning, so you might as well go on and praise Him anyhow.

“. . . Heartwarming, drama-packed and tender in just the right places.”—Romantic Times Book Review.
“Recommended for readers of redemption stories.” –Library Journal.
This books picks up in the middle of the ongoing family saga. This book was not the same quality of Book 1. The stories overlap nicely across series or within the series. The stories are short so they are easily watered down by too many Christian themes. With her long books she had time to develop the story and intertwine themes more.
This book of the series focuses on "stuff" that people allow to control their lives, thoughts and emotions. Some of us need to be reminded of God's sovereignty a little more forceful.
I was captured at page one and couldn’t get away until I finished the book. Vanessa had outdone herself in this series. My girlfriend and I are racing to the next book curious to see what happens next.
I love this series of books. Read! It is inspiring, full of real life situations, and spiritual growth with sermons and scriptures. I am staring on the next book Now!

This was a great book with a great message regarding faith, temperance and forgiveness...the only reason why I deducted a star is because there were a lot of grammatical and continuity errors. On page 119, Joy Marshall is called Ms. Nelson. Nelson was her father's first name. Throughout the trial scenes, this error is repeated. On page 121, Judge Marshall is called Judge Nelson. On the latter pages, he is again called Judge Marshall. It may seem insignificant to others but errors like the aforementioned can really distract the reader and slow the progression of the story.

Vanessa Miller does it again. Another great page turner. If you are looking for Christian Fiction book this is it. This book talks about forgiveness and how we need to let some things go. Thats all I am going to say you have to read it for yourself.
It's so real to life, just amazing. I can't put my reader down, I'm in the car reading, in the doctor's office, reading. I'm starting the next book now.
Great light read. I like Ms. Miller's format of starting with Scripture and finishing with a scene that reinforces the Word. Good message of forgiveness. Also, sobering message of sin's consequences.
This book was really good. Joy finally got her answer from God and boy was it powerful. This series is so thought provoking and brings joy to your soul. Excited about finishing the series.
