Unlikely Alpha

Rate this book
She's about to step into her calling as alpha, leading the wolfpack as her father did. Falling in love, however, might cost her everything. (Sequel to Unlikely Mate!)

Diana (Annie) Harrison is anticipating a world of change as her eighteenth birthday approaches, and she can finally step into her calling as alpha. She expects all the challenges of shifting into a werewolf for the first time, but nothing could prepare her heart for the rocky roller coaster of her first love and the trickle effect he has on the entire future of the pack. Sparring with her protective father's opinions while trying to follow her intuition creates a whirlwind for the pack to recover from, but as with the alphas of the past, Annie's leadership guides them all into truth and safety, leaving a legacy for generations to come.

I loved the first book and I feel like all my love for the first book was not present for this one.
I have adhd and this book was almost too much for even me.
Between all the point of view changes, and how many things happened in the plot, I feel like it was three separate plot lines all slammed into one book
It was a lot and hard to keep up with.
I felt like there was so many times I wish things were talked about more or we went to more detail. I think it would’ve made it better instead of just glossing over things. Face value, and flat instead of in depth the way the first book felt.

This book series has taken my heart. I love Annie so much. And the plot was so good. The ending had me wanting more on how Annie’s life was going to turn out. And the shocks this book had, my emotions were everywhere. I loved it. I definitely cried in some parts and it was such a great read. Also read this in a day and a half. Ate. It. Up.

This one had me at the edge of my seat at certain points and the plot was twisting so much. I’m sad that there aren’t anymore in the series and that the time jump happened without expanding from the rest of the packs point of views as they each found their mates.

If you are wanting a fast paced book with LOTS of good spice with some shifter romance then this is the perfect book for you. As always I can depend on Courtney to give me the perfect HEA.

Great book, very emotional, and lots of spice. Would have loved to read more about Van in this book but I'm glad he got his happy ending.
