FOUR ZANDER-LICIOUS STARS.
Hello readers, new year, new books and I've been in somewhat of a sticky patch with my reading. So with that in mind and an already successful start to her series with book one 'temporary bliss' I jumped right into book two and B J Harvey has successfully delivered just what I needed; a sexy, sweet story complete with a hero that quite frankly can cuff me anytime he wants. 'True bliss' made me smile, blush and happily fall in love. Here are my four star book thoughts ...
What's it all about?
Kate McGuinness has watched her best friend and room mate find the love of her life and all round sexy, superhero and now she is ready to have a slice of true love for herself. After a string of misfits and Mr Wrongs, Kate is unsure that Mr right and perfect even exists in her world. So when a sexy officer in training who has a more than interesting job as a male entertainer at night shows that he's happy to swoop in and gain her affections, Kate isn't sure that true love can really be on the cards for this relationship. But with a taste of true belonging will secrets, insecurities and an insatiable lust for each other get in the way? And can the couple make it to the finishing line where Kate can finally believe that this hunky frog is really her prince? Find out in this second part of a series story. You won't be complaining about meeting Mr Roberts, I guarantee.
What did I love?
B J Harvey has a lovely way of combining humourous, sexy and lovey-dovey with just that little bit of drama that makes her stories come together to create a well-rounded plot. 'True bliss' is the perfect escape to fall in love with, you won't be surprised at the turn of events or be reading something that makes you surprised at the authors originality. But I can assure you that you'll be laughing out loud in one chapter, starry-eyed in the next and fanning yourself somewhere in between at the deliciously naughty scenes that Harvey creates. The characters were fantastic, Zander the hero was nothing short of delicious I loved his protective side almost as much as I loved his sexy, gorgeous 'throw me to the nearest bed' side. His personality shone through as a favourite part of the book for me, his point of view was swoony, romantic and delightfully tempting. And I can't deny that his penchant for exhibitionism was more than just entertaining. Kate was a refreshingly relatable heroine, she was just a girl who wanted to be loved and live her happily ever after. She also brought to the table her fiery and sassy red-headed nature which suited the yummy officer to be, Zander perfectly. Together this couple created the perfect sizzling chemistry and I believed their relationship. I also enjoyed getting a second-chance look into the lives of characters from book one. All in all the book had an appetising beginning, an enticing middle and heavenly 'I can't stop smiling' ending.
Why not five?
As much as I adored this story, it didn't have the 'five star I-can't-put-this-book-down' feeling. I also found myself distracted when the author focused in on other characters in the storyline. I wanted more of the limelight to solely be on Kate and Zander, because let's face it I really couldn't get enough of 'Mr. strip me down and take me now Roberts'. All in all when the rubber hits the road four stars is a more than respectable rating there isn't much to complain about here, and this series features in my 'must read as soon as its published' category, so I was more than pleased to finish up this novel, it just didn't quite tip over into the five star rating.
Final thoughts ...
BJ Harvey tells her stories with confidence and amusement, I'm already looking forward to what characters she will bring to the limelight next. If you're in the mood for easy reading with a sexy twist then this will hit those buttons. The series does need to be read in order but it's no hardship as book one is just as likeable. Go grab it readers, enjoy ... Kisses.

THREE LOVE TRIANGLE STARS
"I have to make a decision. Who do I choose?"
'Feel' is the third and final serial in the sovereign series by the talented and USA today best selling author, BJ Harvey. In this instalment you can expect more than the unexpected. Don't be surprised if this author manages to throw some twists and turns along the way and of course in true Harvey style you can be sure that this short serial will be raising the heat. The heroine of this series finds herself falling in love with two men whilst attempting to keep those who mean the most to her safe. BJ Harvs definitely throws herself into this mini trilogy by offering her readers something different from her usual romantic comedy and I can say that for the most part I was won over. Jump aboard and finally gain the answers we have all been asking about Alyssa and her leading men.
Why not five?
As much as I've enjoyed the ride that this three part serial has delivered I never quite found myself fully engaged in the characters and the plot. Some of the events that unfold in 'Feel' didn't sit as well with my reading tastes as I would have liked and ultimately that led to my likeable and solid three star rating. BJ Harvey is on my list of must read romance authors and I'll always enjoy what she offers the reading world but this time round it didn't grasp me enough for me to give a higher rating. But don't take my word for it, I'm sure plenty of readers will find themselves swept up with this mystery love triangle and enjoy all the drama and intrigue that Harvey has to offer.
Final thoughts ...
If you are looking for a series that is short, hot and surprising then head right this way. BJ Harvey has plenty of tricks to her sleeve with this original sovereign series and I'm pleased to say that I'm glad I spent my time with these characters. Enjoy ... Kisses.

Kate is a bit of a dreamer. She’s a good girl just looking for her Prince Charming, but all she’s had are Mr. Wrongs. After her best friend found her happy ending, she is even more determined to put herself out there, even trying internet dating. All the while having a certain 6’2’’ gorgeous, charismatic someone on her mind.
If you have read Temporary Bliss, then how could you forget Zander? The hot, sexy, spontaneous stripper who was one of Mac’s friends with benefits… Well there is a lot more to Zander than meets the eye. He’s finishing up his training to become a police officer and just wants a nice girl he can bring home to mom and his three younger sisters. When Mac starts playing matchmaker and pushes these two into a unique living arrangement, Kate and Zander have to get over their past run-in and face their building attraction.
This situation makes for some massive amounts of sexual tension. This book is a much longer, slower build than Mac and Daniel’s romance in Temporary Bliss. But I loved every second of the torturous wait. Never fear, there are some steamy scenes along the way to hold you over. BJ definitely can get creative with her sex scenes and this one surely didn’t disappoint there, not one bit!
I really love the relationship that Kate and Zander end up building. These are two awesome characters that I have become so attached to and I love that they are both such healthy people. As much as I love me some broken characters, it’s refreshing not to have some dark, tortured past looming over the relationship. They are pretty upfront and honest (with one exception that causes a minor bump for them) with each other and my god can Zander bring the swoon! I love that man!
Along the way we get a good amount of Mac and Daniel time too. Their scenes always made me smile. There are even two amazing bonus scenes at the end of the book that are solely Mac and Daniel. They are perfection! ♥
True Bliss is an amazing follow up to Temporary Bliss. It was fun, sexy, and romantic, with just enough angst. Couple that with the fantastic characters BJ has brought to life and it made for a near perfect read. I absolutely loved it!

Dammit. Why did Zander have to be such a gentleman? For one night, he had the chance to just be a normal guy and think with his dick. Why couldn't he have just taken me up on my offer and given me one night of mind-blowing, life-changing sex? It would have been amazing...the way he moves his body, the way he carries himself...god, just the way he looks at you. It all screams he's a guy who knows what he's doing between the sheets. He didn't want me to regret him in the morning, but one look at that man, and that is a whole world of regret worth having.

The drama had me glued to my kindle. This ended exactly how I wanted (cheese and all)

In the final installment of the Sovereign Series we get all the answers to the questions we’ve been dying to know! What is Gavin up to? Aiden or Barrett? But you won’t get those answers here – you’ll have to read it for yourself to find out.
So I’m a B.J. fan, both the act and the author ;) But I think what I really love about this series is that you can almost sense that this was a project that the author enjoyed writing. It was a labor of love. Something different than what she typically writes, in both story and format, it shined through in the writing.
Serials are always sort of tough. They are addicting. They are often too short. I thought a lot about the way this particular installment measured up and I am at a bit of a crossroads. See, for me the first book gives you that perfect build up. The second book kicks the drama into high gear and the final book, well that is where not only does the author have to tie everything together, but they also have to bring you to the ending. Sometimes that can come across fast-paced because there is so much to fit into the story to fully resolve everything and having to stick to that strict serial format can sometimes make it seem impossible. So I sit here, fresh after finishing and I’m thinking.... I loved this series. I loved the characters and the drama and that this was about more than just the love triangle unfolding. I do wish that the final book had a few extra pages that allowed some of the drama to unfold slower – but that is the paradox of serials. You can’t turn it into a 400 page book and you can’t just keep releasing additional installments. So in the end, I still really loved this and that I find myself wanting more, well – that right there is a really good thing.
I wish I could talk about the story – about what happened. About the men. But I can’t. I can just say that I think BJ took Alyssa in the direction she needed to go as a character. I know that some readers might not like serials – but I have to say – give them a try. Even if you buy them as a set or once they are all released, but there are some that are well done and this certainly one of them.

Now we get Zander's book or as I remember him, the stripper. Zander is Mac' ex sex buddy and Kate is Mac's best friend. Awkward right?!
Kate has been on several dating disasters and looking for THE ONE. I liked her except for her reaction to Zander at the end was a little over the top for me.

It was a good second book and I really enjoyed the dating and internet chatting. However, I felt there was a bit too much focus on Mac and Daniel (who I love). A light enjoyable book.

These books will be the death of me. I kid you not. I'm falling in love with these characters so hard!!! I loved Kate and Zander!!! I just want to gush, that's usually what I do when writing reviews especially when I love a book like these! I just gush about how much I love them! I also love that these are quick reads but enough where you're satisfied and not feel like something is missing. Nope, all there. All the feels. I love it.

I know I am a hard reviewer, I don't award 5-stars very often, but I cannot understand all the 5-star ratings here. This book was just frustrating! Not only was the plot thin, and the characters not always likable (Mac mostly), but there were numerous format errors that interrupted the flow of the book for at least the first half! Do people get different versions, or just not care about or notice inconsistencies in their books? I would think the issues I saw in the first half would be a star deduction right away? Hmmm, maybe I AM too hard on the authors?
The first half of this book was riddled with context errors, inconsistent use of a different font for texting and/or internet messges, and the repeating of information already shared with the reader. For example, Zander and Kate's sibling tally was stated a few times as well as the retelling the night when Zander turned down a drunk Kate. I didn't need to hear how many siblings each character had a few times over each, it just wasn't necessary to the story at all. I also absorbed the evening where Zander had turned down Kate a few moths prior to this book the first time it was told, I didn't need to hear it a few more times after that! I was struggling to forge ahead with this rather than slapping it with a DNF, it took me longer than it normally does to finish a book this length because my attention was not there. I also feel like the dialogue seemed childish or forced a lot, Daniel's speech to ask for Mac's hand in marriage seemed stuffy and Zander seemed pretty formal to Kate at times. Not to mention Kate was hell bent on that 'perfect man' angle, which was something else that was repeated unnecessarily...sigh.
What do I mean by context errors? Well, it happens when an author seems to have lost track of the scenes or information they have already provided us. We end up being told it is Sunday in a current scene, then it is all of a sudden Saturday a few paragraphs later in reference to the same day we were already told was Sunday! Or when it is stated the bottle of wine was set on the table, to have a server order a glass of the same wine from the bar a minute later. Why? You have an entire effing bottle on the table! Or when a character frets over what to wear to meet the boyfriend's parents, only to be told a page later the same character is wearing a sundress purchased solely for said meeting?! Why make a big deal about what to wear then!? Waste of time and interrupts the flow of the story! I get she was nervous, but you took care of illustrating her nervousness during the car ride, the clothes scenario was not necessary! Those were just 3 examples, I highlighted more in my book. How do beta readers or an editor miss these?
The plot of this book was very predictable and partly why I almost stopped reading. Then when it finally blew up, Kate was even more theatrical and her reaction was even more ridiculous than I thought it would be. I skimmed the ending, this book just was not my thing, sorry. I wasn't a huge fan of the 1st book of this series, so with this book I think I am done here. I really did like the characters of Zander and Kate, I just couldn't appreciate them fully due to the reasons stated already.
BTW...anyone else think this series has an awful setup behind a series of books? So, book one is focused on Mac and how she casually screws 3 different guys due to a promise to herself of not committing to one guy. The first half of this book was riddled with context errors, inconsistent use of a different font for texting and/or internet messges, and the repeating of information already shared with the reader. For example, Zander and Kate's sibling tally was stated a few times as well as the retelling the night when Zander turned down a drunk Kate. I didn't need to hear how many siblings each character had a few times over each, it just wasn't necessary to the story at all. I also absorbed the evening where Zander had turned down Kate a few moths prior to this book the first time it was told, I didn't need to hear it a few more times after that! I was struggling to forge ahead with this rather than slapping it with a DNF, it took me longer than it normally does to finish a book this length because my attention was not there. I also feel like the dialogue seemed childish or forced a lot, Daniel's speech to ask for Mac's hand in marriage seemed stuffy and Zander seemed pretty formal to Kate at times. Not to mention Kate was hell bent on that 'perfect man' angle, which was something else that was repeated unnecessarily...sigh.
What do I mean by context errors? Well, it happens when an author seems to have lost track of the scenes or information they have already provided us. We end up being told it is Sunday in a current scene, then it is all of a sudden Saturday a few paragraphs later in reference to the same day we were already told was Sunday! Or when it is stated the bottle of wine was set on the table, to have a server order a glass of the same wine from the bar a minute later. Why? You have an entire effing bottle on the table! Or when a character frets over what to wear to meet the boyfriend's parents, only to be told a page later the same character is wearing a sundress purchased solely for said meeting?! Why make a big deal about what to wear then!? Waste of time and interrupts the flow of the story! I get she was nervous, but you took care of illustrating her nervousness during the car ride, the clothes scenario was not necessary! Those were just 3 examples, I highlighted more in my book. How do beta readers or an editor miss these?
The plot of this book was very predictable and partly why I almost stopped reading. Then when it finally blew up, Kate was even more theatrical and her reaction was even more ridiculous than I thought it would be. I skimmed the ending, this book just was not my thing, sorry. I wasn't a huge fan of the 1st book of this series, so with this book I think I am done here. I really did like the characters of Zander and Kate, I just couldn't appreciate them fully due to the reasons stated already.
BTW...anyone else think this series has an awful setup behind a series of books? So, book one is focused on Mac and how she casually screws 3 different guys due to a promise to herself of not committing to one guy. I loved this book and can’t wait for more in this series! We met all these characters in Temporary Bliss (Bliss #1) and spending time with them again was a real treat!
True Bliss begins with Kate talking about her desire to meet Mr Right instead of Mr Right Now and I have to say that reading this book was like being on a brunch dates with my single mates and listening to them bemoan the lack of men out there looking to settle down, of hearing their plight of looking for, but not finding that special love. Not just any kind of love though….Kate, like my mates wants to experience THAT love. You know the one?
“I want the kind of crazy love we’ve been warned about. The kind of love that makes your heart skip a beat. The kind of love that makes you want to dance in the rain and bottle up the sunset while screaming at the top of your lungs. The kind of love that authors write about, musicians sing about and lover’s dream about.” - Kate
Yeah, that kind! Kate’s situation came across so real and so familiar that you feel as if Kate could be one of your girlfriends and you’re there with her as she tackles the single dating scene looking for love.

Kate is searching for Mr Right and Zander is searching for Miss Right. Can their paths finally collide and allow them to see what everyone else sees, how they are so right for each other? Can the person you’re destined to be with be the one that’s right in front of your face?
We first met Kate and Zan in Temporary Bliss and whilst I adored them then, I completely and utterly fell in love with them in True Bliss. These two characters will melt your heart, set it a flutter and although you’ll be completely satisfied, you’ll still want more!
Kate is the best friend of the crazy gorgeous Mac and Zander was once of of Mac’s three booty calls. Hmmmm…awkward! Zander assumes Kate would have an issue with his past dalliances with Mac…you know, the whole someone’s seconds dilemma, and should they ‘get it on’ he’s worried that Kate may hold regrets.
Kate has a “three date rule” whereby she won’t sleep with someone until the third date. Tricky, because if ever two people needed to release that pent up sexual energy it’s these two. Pass the ice bucket!! But both aren’t looking for a quick hook up though and Zan wants to prove he can be the man Kate needs and goes all out to make her see it. Let me tell you folks, when this man delectable man wooed…..dear god….did he have me SWOONING. Zander in woo mode is something to behold. Sigh…..

Kate wants to feel loved and protected and the attraction and find the love of her life and the chemistry between these two sizzles. I was desperately willing these two to be together. They were so perfect for one another and complimented each other so beautifully.
True Bliss was such an easy, romantic and wonderful read and I was completely lost in this story in every way. It never felt weighted down with over descriptive prose or relied on drama for the sake of drama. The story flowed well and I relished every single minute spent with characters who were such a joy and who feel like old friends.
My only issue were a couple of instances where the story would jump in time and then be told via flashback. At these times I would have preferred to have stayed in the moment with Zander and Kate because I was enjoying the development of the relationship so much I wanted to experience every single second in real time. But, the flashbacks were so well written that I was able to just go with the flow and enjoy the fun.
My heart broke for Zander and Kate when miscommunication, non disclosure and circumstances cause the path to true love to experience some hiccups. But Zander wasn’t giving up and when Zander fights for his woman, trust me, you will be doing some major dreamy sighing let me tell you. I was a gonner. He is up there as one of my favourite book boyfriends and I just loved him!

The situation and characters created by BJ Harvey felt so real and relatable the story was told in a beautifully witty and endearing way, allowing True Bliss is the perfect escape. I dare you to read this book without a smile constantly plastered on your face….when you’re not fanning yourself or madly swooning that is!

This author has a knack for bringing real life situations to life in her stories, turning them on their head and in the process creating a fun, passionate, swoony and very entertaining read! I know I’ll be 1clicking the rest of the Bliss Series without hesitation.

True Bliss had the perfect blend of drama, heat, romance, passion, romance and a huge helping of fun. The banter between all the characters will result in you falling in love with them all. This was a lose yourself and enjoy every minute kind of read and was one I couldn’t put down until the end. I read it with a grin on my face and warmth in my heart. Pretty bloody satisfying I’d say!

True Bliss is book 2 in the series. They can be read as standalone but I do recommend reading Temporary Bliss first, if not just for the pure epicness that is Mac.
True Bliss is a fun, sexy, and romantic read that left me craving more of BJ's Writing.
Kate is just looking for her Prince Charming. Simple Right? Wrong. Always one to fall for Mr Wrong, Kate is determined to find Mr Right.

We met Zander in Temporary Bliss. While I wasn't too keen on the sexy stripper, I definitely changed my mind after reading True Bliss. Zander was one of Mac's 'Friends with Benefits' which puts him in a difficult position when he and Kate have a moment that he can't seem to forget.
Kate is dead set against anything happening between Zander with the friend code in place, even if he can make her weak at the knees.
But with Mac playing matchmaker, Zander finds a way to get Kate right where he wants her. But will his plan work and make her fall for him, or will it blow up in his face?
I really really enjoyed True Bliss. Zander is soo soon worthy. Their story was a slow burn and build up that had me hanging on to every word, every encounter every scene.

4.5 stars!! What an ending to this series by BJ Harvey, Feel definitely had all the feels. No matter what team you were on, or like me if you were #teamfence BJ Harvey ties this all up perfectly. All the plot lines are tied up and karma truly is a bitch. I always feel for the guy not chosen but with this one, with what happened in this book, I actually didn't Feel that bad for him. However, I would like to see him happy and am hoping BJ Harvey delivers his story too. (full review to come)

I can’t wait to work my way through this band of merry men that BJ Harvey introduced us to in Mac and Daniel’s story. This is the turn of Zander “the stripper” and Kate, Mac’s best friend and flat mate!
Kate is a dreamer, she dreams of fairy castles, princesses, her prince and her knight in shining armour, whisking her away and giving her the perfect HEA that she always dreamt of.
“See, here’s the problem. I don’t just want a good love, one of those everyday loves that you hear about. I want the crazy kind of love that we’ve been warned about. The kind of love that makes your heart skip a beat. The kind of love that makes you want to dance in the rain and bottle up the sunset while screaming at the top of your lungs. The kind of love that authors write about, musicians sing about, and lovers dream about. I want true, total body mind and soul, bliss.”
See, she has low expectations…NOT!! No wonder she is still single!! She therefore decides to try her hand at online dating. After a chain of unsuccessful dates her hopes and dreams are being shattered…will she ever find True Bliss? She finally strikes up a conversation with “Nightdancer23” on Chicago singles and finally she can see some light at the end of the tunnel.

Will Mac pushing these two together into close proximity enable them to “get it on” or will they just end up hating each other?

I loved the way that this book was so different from Mac and Daniel’s story, in this one we get the slow build, the slow burn, the learning about each other, friendship, courtship and then love, lust and hot steamy scenes. We also get the miscommunications, the bumps, the hiccups and all that goes with a new relationship, but it just makes it more relatable and believable.
“That was the hottest thing I’ve ever seen. If that happens just from us kissing, from us touching and kissing, imagine how hot it is going to be between us when we get to the good stuff.”
I loved that we continued with Mac and Daniels story throughout this book and they were both instrumental in getting these two finally together. The chapters we were treated to at the end, just made me smile as only Mac can make me do.
“He has the audacity to chuckle. I mean, I’m a health professional, I know all there is to know about bedside manners, and laughing at a lunatic pregnant woman is NOT the thing to do. It’s not cool, man. NOT. COOL.”
With every new release by BJ Harvey I can see her writing evolving and she is really carving a niche for her stories. They are extremely fun and sexy and are a really light read that will leave your heart full and your face with a smile from ear to ear. Totally loving this authors work and I can’t wait to read “the Doc’s” story next.

This is Kate and Zanders story. It can easily be read as a Stand-alone but for full effect I recommend you read Temporary Bliss to meet the whole gang from the beginning. There are appearances from Mac and Daniel in True Bliss which makes my heart VERY happy! I love these guys!
As much as I loved all the characters that we discovered in Temporary bliss, ‘True Bliss wasn’t the one I was most excited for. Well, I really shouldn’t underestimate the power BJ Harvey has to bring characters to life and make you fall in love with them! True Bliss is AWESOME! It’s longer, so more to get your teeth into and I just fell in love with Kate and Zander from the first few pages.
I always loved Kate, she’s sassy, funny and the best, best friend a girl (or guy) could want. I love her snarky comments and hilarious one liners and I also love how the fun time girl persona didn’t overshadow the fact that there was a sweet vulnerable girl underneath that just wanted her Happy ever after. As much as I loved all the characters that we discovered in Temporary bliss, ‘True Bliss wasn’t the one I was most excited for. Well, I really shouldn’t underestimate the power BJ Harvey has to bring characters to life and make you fall in love with them! True Bliss is AWESOME! It’s longer, so more to get your teeth into and I just fell in love with Kate and Zander from the first few pages.
I always loved Kate, she’s sassy, funny and the best, best friend a girl (or guy) could want. I love her snarky comments and hilarious one liners and I also love how the fun time girl persona didn’t overshadow the fact that there was a sweet vulnerable girl underneath that just wanted her Happy ever after. I thought this was really sweet. It's book two in this series, and I would definitely read book one first. Mac and Daniel from book one are in this a lot and the last two chapters continue their story. This book focuses on Kate, Mac's best friend and roommate. Mac and Kate are similar in a lot of ways, especially sense of humor. In terms of looking for a relationship, Kate doesn't have Mac's commitment issues. She is looking for her prince charming and happily ever after.

I’m still in two minds about this third and final instalment in the Sovereign series.
This was a really fast paced story, a lot happens so don’t read with any distractions or you might not keep up!
Alyssa claims to be in love with two men, one she has known for two years but there has never been a permanent commitment from him and the other she has known for a matter of weeks. One man is familiar and makes her feel safe, the other gets her heart racing and body humming. Actually both men look after her well when it comes to the physical side of a relationship.
She has to make a choice and I think that many readers will be divided about who she should choose. I think that she should have kept her legs closed and given herself some time to think about it properly but that is just my personal opinion.
I am glad that there is going to be more to this story eventually, the unchosen man should then get the HEA he deserves.

We finally get to find out who Alyssa chooses and it was for the most part kind of expected.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series but was left a bit disappointed by this last installment. As usual, it is well-written but a bit too predictable and the odd man out was treated somewhat unfairly in my opinion. I'm happy to say we will get his story at some point so hopefully he'll be redeemed.
The series overall gets a 4.5 but this last part gets a 3. I needed just a little bit more.

Zander and Kate's story is a great follow-up to Temporary Bliss, the first book in B.J. Harvey's Bliss series. Ms Harvey continues on with her outrageous wit, heart-pounding sex scenes, great down-to-earth characters, and overall hilarious writing style. Zander, was one of Mac's friends with benefits hookups who after Mac dumped him for Daniel, began to notice her best friend, Kate. Kate was more than ready to find her own prince charming, and Mac's sexy ex boy toy was hard to miss. These two were great together and I loved reading this one! 4 stars

True Bliss is Kate's story, although it can be read as a stand alone; reading Temporary Bliss first is highly recommended. Since both Zander & Kate are introduced in the first book and Mac & Daniel play a big role in the second book.

But girl code and a misunderstood brush off has ensured Kate keeps her distance. True Bliss is my guilty pleasure type of read. A great quick romance read that has a bit of drama, but nothing that is going to cause me to cry over a broken pile of what was formerly my Kindle. Two characters that are easy to love and are and that are genuinely goodhearted.
Zander and Kate turn it up a bit with a few sexy scenes and moments that will have you wishing you could grab your man and just make out with him for hours on end. First base has never been sexier!
With each book I read from B.J. Harvey I am so pleased with the growth I find within her stories. I am completely humbled by being able to not only get my hands on these a bit early, but to be able to chat books, her characters and discuss just everyday life with her.
I am completely ready for the next books in this series to be released. The good doctor is up next for his story but I am going to just stake my claim on Sean right now, yep ladies the Dom is going to be all mine so you can just suck it and move on.

What I will say about Feel is this, be prepared to go on a roller coaster ride. Your heart and emotions will be all over the place. This may be a novella but it is packed with so much goodness that it felt like a full length novel. It was missing nothing!!! There was sex, suspense, shockers, happiness and love!! All your answers will be answered in this book.
As much as I don't like love triangles, I see why Ms. Harvey wrote this series like this. In the end everything made sense to me and I am so glad that I read this series. I absolutely loved that this book was so much more than just a love story. The mystery/suspense of the storyline was fantastic and kept me guessing all the way through. This final installment was filled with some serious shockers, I almost couldn't believe what I was reading!!! I can't say anymore without spoiling it for other readers, so all I'll say is READ THIS SERIES!!!!
If you are not a fan of cliffhangers, then all I can say to that is wait for this installment to be released and then dive into this amazing story. This is a series you won't want to miss!!!

Nightdancer wants his Firebird forever.....
True Bliss is the second in the Bliss series. This story starts off with us getting to know Kate and Zander. Kate is the best friend of Mac, the heroine in Temporary Bliss and Zander was Mac's stripper friends with benefits who was also a Rookie Cop. Kate has always loved her fairytales and hopes to one day meet the man of her dreams to love and protect her like all Prince Charming's should. Zander had met Kate and thought she was wonderful but their first one on one interaction doesn't end well.
I loved that Zander is dedicated to Kate, but I felt his secret wasn't as big a deal as what it became. The internet dating was quite funny, but was exactly how I expect some of the setups to work out. Zander being called Nightdancer was corny but funny too. Kate's reaction to the reveal was OTT, but she's female so it probably shouldn't have surprised me.
Love the family and friends dynamics and I especially loved the bonus chapters with Mac and Daniel. I am enjoying this series and will definitely be reading more.

Kate and Zander met in Temporary Bliss. Something happened between the two of them but we're not enlightened as to what exactly.
Now in True Bliss we get to learn more about Zander and get inside his head. We also understand a little more of Kate and get to know and love her.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There were some amazingly inventive sex scenes and a few more almost-sex scenes. When I first started this book I was concerned as to how the author was going to manage steamy scenes with a main character as pure and seemingly innocent as Kate, but she pulled it off (yep, pun intended! Haha). BJ Harvey has done another wonderful job of showing us the love Kate & Zander share whilst allowing us to see the steamy bedroom action without it feeling staged and awkward or not true to Kate's character.
One of the biggest bonuses of this book are the additional chapters and the little snippets of Mac & Daniel's life. It's nice to still be privy to what's happening in their lives without it taking away from Kate & Zander's story. Well done. :-)

3.5 stars- I'm glad everything was figured out at the end. Gavin got what he deserved, I knew he was trouble from the beginning.!Aly mad me mad at times. She should be glad that one of the men still wanted to be with her. I'm glad that there was a happy ending!!

Lei però è in grado gestire i suoi sentimenti, sa divertirsi con un uomo senza lasciare che le cose si spingano troppo oltre per questo accetta la sfida della sua amica Kate. Tre appuntamenti senza sesso, solo conoscersi come fanno le coppie normale quando iniziano a frequentarsi. Mac salterebbe volentieri questa fase in virtù del fatto che oltre al sesso non vuole nulla, ma come può non accettare una sfida?

Cercherò di essere tutto quello che hai bisogno che sia, dentro e fuori dalla camera da letto perché amo vederti sorridere. Mi piace vederti ridere, e mi piace di sicuro quando urli il mio nome sotto di me.
Una storia romantica con una nota hot parecchio spiccata che sinceramente stavolta mi è sembrato eclissasse un po' la parte sentimentale. La protagonista non è la solita ragazza che incontriamo nei romance, insicura e indifesa. A discapito di quello che le è successo, Mac è diventata una combattente, una che morde la vita e ne gode fino in fondo senza sensi di colpa. Non giudico questo suo atteggiamento e sinceramente la sua libertà sessuale non ha mi ha stupita, solo mi dispiaceva per lei perchè molte volte tale modo di fare non le consente di vedere il buono che si trova tra le mani. Tutti abbiamo diritto ad una seconda possibilità, anche Mac.
Danel "Il Delizioso" è davvero degno del suo soprannome, un uomo fantastico. Pieno di fascino, solerte, divertente e non ha paura di impegnarsi, l'esatto contrario di ciò che cerca Mac. Nonostante tutti i dubbi di Mac lui è disposto ad aspettare, prendendo anche le briciole.
È per gli altri uomini? Perché sul serio, Mac, ci sono dentro fino al collo, mi va bene averti in qualsiasi modo. Aspetterò, non importa quanto a lungo. Se questi ultimi mesi con te mi hanno mostrato qualcosa è che sei destinata a essere mia. Io lo so già, cazzo, lo so già da un po’. Sto solo aspettando che te ne renda conto anche tu.
In questa storia non ci sono solo Mac e Daniel a spiccare, ma anche Kate mi ha suscitato un certo interesse, così come i tre amici di letto di Mac: Noah, il chirurgo del suo stesso ospedale, Sean e Zander. Non vedo l'ora di potere leggere le loro storie negli altri capitoli della serie.
BJ Harvey è un'autrice che trovo diversa ad ogni sua storia, e non ho ancora capito quanto questo sia un bene. In generale le sue storie sono abbastanza hot e con una bella trama. Col tempo anche la caratterizzazione dei personaggi si è fatta più interessante.
Se quindi cercate una storia sexy, con qualche caduta lungo il percorso, degli equivoci imbarazzanti e tanto, tanto romanticismo, L'ebbrezza di un attimo potrebbe fare al caso vostro.

In questa storia non ci sono solo Mac e Daniel a spiccare, ma anche Kate mi ha suscitato un certo interesse, così come i tre amici di letto di Mac: Noah, il chirurgo del suo stesso ospedale, Sean e Zander. Non vedo l'ora di potere leggere le loro storie negli altri capitoli della serie.
BJ Harvey è un'autrice che trovo diversa ad ogni sua storia, e non ho ancora capito quanto questo sia un bene. In generale le sue storie sono abbastanza hot e con una bella trama. Col tempo anche la caratterizzazione dei personaggi si è fatta più interessante.
Se quindi cercate una storia sexy, con qualche caduta lungo il percorso, degli equivoci imbarazzanti e tanto, tanto romanticismo, L'ebbrezza di un attimo potrebbe fare al caso vostro.

Gahhh I didn’t think I would love the story of Kate and Zander, but as usual B.J. Harvey surprises me with how amazing her books are. Actually, to be honest, her writing is getting better and better with each book she writes. This one is definitely no exception. It’s steamy, sexy, hysterical, angsty, fun, adorable, relatable, and highly entertaining. If I wasn’t swooning or happy sighing while reading, I was wide-eyed and flying through a hot scene. It was a feel-good book. No dark pasts, no love triangles, no cheating, just fairy tale-esque love. Not that this is pure and innocent like a fairy tale. This book is sexyyyy. I mean Zander is a male stripper, for crying out loud. Who is working on becoming a cop *swoon*. There’s nothing not to love about this book.
“…I’ll just get my hopes up that I’ve found my forever guy. You know, the one who makes my heart skip a beat, makes my blood boil, and rocks my world nightly. Okay, maybe it’s too late and I’m already thinking that. Maybe I’ve found my soul mate, and he was just in front of me the whole time.”
True Bliss alternates POVs between Kate and Zander. In book one, Temporary Bliss, Zander saved Kate one night at the club when a guy was getting too handsy with her. He took her home in her drunken state and then she tried to come on to him. But, Zander refused. It’s tragically humiliating to Kate as it would be to any other girl. HOWEVER, Zander only did it because he knows “she was the forever kind of girl, one that deserved a lifetime of love, protection, and hot sex”. Swoon much? Besides, without that night we wouldn’t have all the angst we had in this book. Kate is trying to avoid him because she thinks he doesn’t want her, but she dreams about him. Zander is trying to get close to her without scaring her off. It becomes a crazy story involving online dating, burned apartments, first dates, trees in the park, and crazy sexual tension. I laughed, I “aww-ed”, I growled, I died, and I swooned.
“Right now all I want to do is scoop her up and take care of whatever is upsetting her. It’s my nature; what I’ve always done. And with Kate, I’d slay dragons to put a smile on her face.”
I absolutely love Kate. She is the redhead version of me. Minus Zander, of course. She’s real. She’s confident, she knows what she wants, she has her moments, she’s down-to-earth, she’s funny, she’s feisty, and she just wants to find a man. You find yourself rooting for her the whole time. She gets really discouraged after all these failed first dates, and she has that smart three date rule. I just wanted to go drinking with her.
“Life’s too short to worry about how long you’ve been with someone, and whether it’s too soon to fall in love. I think a part of me fell in love with Zan the night he told me I was worth a lifetime of making love to.”
Zander is the perfect match for Kate. He’s bold where she’s shy, he takes care of her when she doesn’t know she needs it, and he’s the for to her ever. I couldn’t get enough of him. He has a thing for public sex and he’s a stripper turned cop? What more could you ask for? Did I mention he sort of, kind of, maybe gives Kate a lap dance? On the other hand, Zander also knows how to treat a lady, I mean he’s been man of the house since he was practically a kid, taking care of his little sisters and his mom. He goes above and beyond in everything he does. There’s nothing sexier than a man who goes after what he wants. And he wants Kate. Bad. He doesn’t deny his feelings.
“I want that kind of devotion. He is so damn good for her…hell, they’re good for each other. They’re like the perfect pieces to each other’s puzzle. Mac has her little freak out’s and Daniel doesn’t even flinch. He manages them, listens, and calms her down.”
I was also shocked to see that this had a lotttt of Mac and Superman. Their parts were some of the funniest moments in the book. We get to see how they deal with the pregnancy and how their relationship continues to progress. They’re actually even more cute in this book and in the beginning I was just as depressed as Kate was at seeing how adorable and perfect they were for each other. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention how relatable Mac and Kate’s friendship is. They’re seriously each other’s “person”. Always there for one another. Sisters from another mister. The whole shebang. I loved it. They were so relatable.
“It was because of him. Because it was him. Because that kiss, albeit brief, dug deep into my soul and took hold of something that has never been touched before.”
So, basically, everyone needs to read this book. Everyone needs to fall in love with Kate and Zander. Everyone needs to experience falling in love through their eyes. They had every type of love. Insta-love. Friends turned lovers love. Love love. It was just almost too much. Of course there were twists and turns that had to test their bond. But love conquers all. I was so depressed to get to their happily ever after. I need more of them like we got more Mac and Daniel. I had a huge book hangover after this. I need a Zander.

“Just wanted to give you a reminder of what’s waiting here for you.”
“Won’t ever forget that, babe. Wherever you are, I wanna be. Forever and always.”

Kate McGuinness & Zander Roberts
This was just okay for me. I don't know why the characters annoyed me more than thrilled me in this one.
It seemed like a lot of the information was on repeat, and Kate seemed so desperate to find someone, that it just didn't seem organic.
Once Zander and Kate finally got to a point where they were exploring a relationship, things got better. They were really sweet and very sexy.
This was just okay for me. I don't know why the characters annoyed me more than thrilled me in this one.
