This is gritty writing with some disturbing issues and prejudices on display. As this is recorded on location some of the voices are somewhat tkickly accented so, if spared I shall re-listen to it all again on Saturday.
I listened to series 3 of Undercover Mumbai on Radio 4. I enjoyed the unravelling of the mystery and getting to know the characters. It was also interesting to discover a bit more about the culture of India. One thing I would say is that sometimes it was difficult to know what was going on and which character was talking. But overall, I really liked this series, and if there's a series 4, I'll definitely be listening.
I ordered this because the story was set in Mumbai and actually recorded in the same place.
I enjoyed most of the stories and some of the stories were quite edgy. I enjoyed the first, third and fourth series. However the second series was about police/political corruption which was not my cup of tea.
Listened to on BBC podcast and came looking for the book on which it was based. Wish there was a whole series - instead discovered it was created for radio.
