At thirty, Sahara is in a rut. She’s not dating anyone, her job is stressful and she’s not having very much fun, either.
All that is about to change when she meets three people.
The first is Paris, a real-life witch who wants to be Sahara’s mentor and mentor. The next two are both men. Gorgeous men. Each of whom just might just be the man of her dreams.
Like they say: when it rains, it pours.
Now, as Sahara finds herself challenged by the very magic she’s just learning to embrace, a mysterious and dangerous force threatens her. Soon, it becomes clear that there’s only one way to deal with the escalating danger. Sahara is about to discover that she’s a lot more powerful than she ever dreamed possible.
WITCH TO CHOOSE is a full-length novel, and the first in a magical new series.

Fun, fresh, light, romance, comedy, action...and witches! That's what you get in H.T. Nights newest book, Witch to Choose. I knew within the first 4 or 5 chapters that I was hooked. The main character, Sahara, is so relatable we could be sisters! (That will make even more sense when you read this book). If you're a fan of H.T.'s, I believe you'll enjoy this story as much as I did. I can't wait for the next installment! Congrats H.T.! You've got yourself a winner here! :-)
NOTE: My review is edited for the NEW REVISED version of this book.
HT has never let me down, I love his books. His heart, intelligence & humor always shines through. This book was no different. This book was great fun for me. It was a love triangle with a paranormal twist that grabbed my attention & stole my heart.
I enjoyed the characters, the dialogue, the story, the humor... I really loved it all (OK, I hated Paris with a passion). The good weren't perfect. They were flawed, like real people. That's one thing I loved about this book. I could relate & think about what I'd do in each situation. When the characters ring true to me, I get more invested & attached to them. I cared about them.
I loved that ethical and moral issues were touched upon. That's always interesting to me. The men are not the only important & intriguing choice that Sahara must make. I found myself rooting for & even occasionally talking to my kindle, the choices I wanted Sahara to make. That's a sign of the passion that this book evoked in me.
I should mention that the ending was different than in the original version. Frankly, I strongly approve! This is what I always wanted to happen although I understood why the 1st ending was written. This is what I believe I would've done in Sahara's shoes. I was rooting for this ending BIG TIME!!!!
I recommend this book to other paranormal, Wiccan & romance lovers. I HATE having to wait to see what happens next. I am seriously hooked. Please hurry up with the next installment, HT. I'll try to be patient.
"Witch to Choose: A Love Triangle With a Magical Twist" is the first book in a new series Heart of a Witch by HT Night. From page one you are drawn into the world of Sahara...a "normal" ...curvy thirty year old who loves to wear black clothing and Goth makeup. She is a very down to Earth person who has joined an internet dating service to find a special someone to have fun with and to do things with. This is where the fun begins! Not only does Sahara meet a special man but also Paris who is a white witch and who wants to mentor Sahara in the art of witchcraft! With a lot happening in this story it all comes down to a few choices Sahara has to make about her life. I would give away to many spoilers if I told any more of what happens so I will stop with just that and add that as the book continues we are introduced to more characters...each adding mystery to this awesome story in their own way... some who are likeable and others that are down right nasty! You will have to buy the book and read for yourself what happens and you definitely will not be disappointed in doing so! Having been a fan of HT Night's for quite a while and loving all of his stories I knew when I read the blurb for this one I would love it and I did! It is a fast read(I think because I couldn't put it down until I turned the last page) and also a fun read. Mr Night has a way of telling a story that is so enjoyable that you will definitely be wanting more! Can't wait for the second book to come out so I can find out if Sahara made the right choices!!!
Another great Series from H.T.Night...I loved it....Witch to Choose..did Sahara make the right choice? I can hardly wait for book 2! Check it out! You will love it...
I have picked up this book a couple of times now trying to finish the story but I have finally given up about 76% into it. Sahara seems so shallow as she has less than a perfect figure but likes Donovan for no other reason than he looks like a supermodel. Even when she is told there is a love spell in play, she still pursues him yet strings along Robert who is sweet, sincere and genuinely interested in her. The whole idea of being a witch is never really explained or investigated in any detail. There was no real build up to anything, no action scenes and even the romance seems stilted and doesn't ring true. The villian Abigal only used angry words and a forgetful spell on Sahara but there was not real conflict or consequences for not choosing sides. Overall I just could not be bothered reading anymore as it lacked depth and excitement and failed to engage me on any level.
. This was a minutely detailed tale about the life of a young woman, faced with a love triangle between two men. You hear about almost every single detail of her experiences with these fellows, who are complete opposites. However, she finds a deep attraction to both of them, for some unclear reason. None of the characters were extremely compelling, although I found one male more captivating than the other for sure.
Becoming a witch came out of the blue to her, yet she accepted both extremes of the craft with a grain of salt and barely any concern in regards to consequences.
The heroine is fickle and finds it impossible to make decisions between the alternatives presented to her with either a romantic relationship or good/black magic.
It was a clean tale, not really able to stand on its own, which means there was no definitive H.E.A.
HT Night has alway been my Favorite author! He has a way of writing that just completely pulls you in! YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO PUT THIS BOOK DOWN!!! Witch to Choose is a very well written book! The Characters are so easy to relate to and fall in love with! I love Sahara she is so relatable right down to her body insecurities!! She's more realistic then the drop dead gorgeous characters that no one can relate to if you know what I mean!! I am not one to write spoilers so you just need to read this book! TRUST ME YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! HT Night has never let me down in any of his books and this new series is one I've completely fell in love with!
H.T. Night is a wonderful author and had never failed to put out Amazing and Enticing books. This one is no different. We have had the Vampires and the Werewolves and now we have Witches! Sahara is a wonderful character. She is a real character, she is a curvy, slightly insecure woman who doesn't like her job. The next thing she knows she meets Paris, and she's dealing with Witches and becoming a Witch and all of a sudden she has two men in her life. Robert and Donovan. But with everything going on in her life she has to wonder is what they feel for her real or a spell? Now she has choices to make and not just about the men. I highly recommend this book as a must read. You will not be disappointed! :O)

Witch to choose? was a fantastic story written by a great author HT Night. a paranormal romance story that is funny and heartfelt the whole way through. Sahara is trying to find her love and place in the world and ht brought me right along with these characters. A great first book to a new series cant wait for the next one expected in october
I received an ARC for an honest review. This is the first in a series and if you like any of H.T. Night's books you will love this one. This is about Sahara who is in her 30's, good looking, has a boring job, and needs romance. On her way home from a date she is approached by a good witch who tries to recruit Sahara. Before she knows it she has to make up her mind if she wants to be a good witch or a bad one. She has also met two very nice men and she has to pick between the two! All of a sudden her life is full of interesting dilema's. She now has ethical and moral issues to choose between or does she just want to stay a free spirit? You won't be disappointed from this book and you'll want to go on and read the next book in the series! I read this in one sitting, I so wanted to find out what happens!
There is so much going on in this story that I found it hard to sort it out at times. Yet, it was compelling at the same time and I was anxious to continue reading to see where the story led. Sahara is at once strong minded and insecure, convinced that she knows what she should do and then backing away from her decision. She is torn between two forces who wish to influence her life's direction, and two loves who have a lot of merit on their side. She is struggling to win back control so that she makes the right decisions, but overwhelmed by all the conflicting feelings. This was a paranormal romance unlike any I have read before and I most definitely will continue with the series to see where it leads, I received a complimentary copy from the author in exchange for a honest review.
I read a couple of chapters in book but didn't like it at all. I mean thier is a bit 9f repetition going on. Also I run a mile 8f I went on a date with her it not that she two open but that she asked a guy she only me for about 1-2 hrs what does he think of her dream. Seriously ain't that pillow talk or maybe I'm wrong
Also anothet guy was mention and he sounds like a doosh bag. But I bet by the end she might have gotten with him can't granentee it tho.
Would I recommend book: no Would I read something from author: not on purpose.
Sahara meets Paris after her first date in a long time. The date went well, but after she met Paris things got real interesting for her. She discovers she is a witch. She wants to be a good witch, but is also attracted to black magic. She has to decide between two men, one very attractive man and one average man too. Interesting story, but a little confusing on the storyline.
I'd fully recommend this book to anyone. It was interesting and kept me intrigued til the end. I was definitely rooting for Robert. Can't wait to read the second book to see how Sahara progresses in her magic and how she and Robert fare. I'm still hoping she'll help Donovan out as well.
An intelligently, written book, concerning a newly, informed 30 year old, that she is a witch. A love spell triangle is created whilst she is unaware she continues her dates. No obnoxious sex scenes.
Would like the author to do more research..yes there is good and evil..True Witches are Female and Male as a descendent of first woman killed in Colonies of what is now THe USA..and High Priestess in my own life I am always will be always was always a Witch
Don't really like "witch" type stories , so maybe I'm not the one who aught to be reviewing this book . I found it dull; the plot line wandering, and losing my attention. I won't be buying another in this series.
I am in Jamaica, in the sand, which is high reading time for me. This was awful. The writing style, the characters, the plot...just everything. I couldn't finish it. Worse yet, I did not even care to skip to the end to find out what happened for closure.
As in other series, I have re-read this and all following every time a new book was released in the series 😊. What can I say...really enjoy this series !
This was an interesting story. I enjoyed it but now I must go back and re-readit as I feel like I missed something. It is a very deep and intense story
Sahara is trying to get out there and now that she has turned thirty she wants someone she can get close with. The first date is great, Robert meshes with her from the beginning. Then she meets Duncan who she can't deny being attracted too. Throw in a white witch named Paris who is a mentor to Sahara now her life is wide open and she finds she likes where she is at and questions why it needs to change.
Didn't quite work for me. I liked the idea of this but it seemed like it was a bit forced and had more of a cozy mystery feel to it.
I generally like stories about new witches coming into their powers and the conflicts that arise when they must choose to follow the Light or the Dark, which is why I downloaded this from Amazon when it popped as free.
I got the 2013 version.
When I read a book by a new author, I try to imagine the author by the way that author structures sentences. I imaged the author as a 40 something motherly lady, definitely older than the young man the actual author turned out to be. This was absolutely the biggest mistake I have ever made. This is the first time in 60 plus years I've been mistaken about the sex of the author. Mr. Night, please accept my apology.
I was all prepared to like this little story, but was derailed almost immediarely. IMO, almost the worse thing an independant author can do is publish a book that is not properly proofed. This book could be used as the example of what to not do.
There were major grammer mistakes, wrong words were used (your for you're, etc) and logic was totally blown out of the water. Paraphrasing what I mean, one of Sahara's two admirers brings her a huge bouquet of roses. he let's her know that one dozen roses was $49.99, but three dozen roses were just 59.99, so he bought two dozen roses at 59.99 to take advantage of the price break.
What? You are confused by what I just wrote. OK, I was just as confused when I read it.
Paris had to have been channeling Paris Hilton. She taught Sahara "the most powerful offensive spell a white witch could use - guaranteed to disable any witch attacking her". So powerful there was a built in control so the spell couldn't be used again for 24 hours. When Angelina attacks Sahara, the spell is absolutely useless. Paris, mentoring doesn't mean getting your apprentice murdered.
Sahara meets a man on a blind date who is 10 years older than she, has good common sense and a good idea of who he is, plus he has a sexy voice and he truly likes her. Sounds like the perfect blind date to me.
BUT, Paris decides Sahara needs another "boyfriend" to compare, so Paris ensures that Sahara meets this male model who is in her workout classes. He's not "handsome", he's "beautiful". I think he also had long, blond curly hair. He also has Daddy issues, and shades of Wilt Chamberlin, he tells her he has had 300+ sexual relationships over the past 11years. At 30 she has had sexual relationships with 38 men. I can now see some of the drawbacks to being a serial monogamist like me.
Angelina is hacked that Sahara has chosen white witch Paris to be her mentor, rather than Angelina's dark self. Forced to use the dark spell's she has taught herself in order to survive, Paris throws a hissy fit when she finds out what Sahara has done.
Sahara goes off to decide which of her two men will be her special other.. She tells Robert he ain't the choice, then goes to the other guy's house and tells him he IS it. No sooner than she picks him, she leaves the house and goes back to Robert, goes inside and does not leave.
The End
This book was so bad I may have to get the next one to see if the author can continue to dissapoint.
