Testified: A Poetic Testimony by Michelle “TRUE” Francois

In Testified we find a collection of poems written by Francois that speak to the person of who you really strive to be. Francois breaks her poetic flow into parts. She starts with her Introduction and moves into her journey as Part One. In that journey she testifies, tells you why she writes, goes on to let you know we are one and ending the journey with a reaction. Passion exploding with each word written. From her journey she moves onto Brighter Days. We can all use brighter days most of the time and know that we start off at one point and evolve to another point. Francois ends the brighter day with being real and consistent, which speaks to everyone in some shape way or form.
She continues to move through her journey with love, uplifting and the greatest gift. We all can relate to one of the poems and say to ourselves, that yes, this is me. Yes I have felt this way. Yes, you understand where I’m coming from. The collection of poems was realistic and passionate. You literally can feel the author’s passion jumping off the pages.

I will give this body of work four stars. I give this work four stars for the passion jumping off the page and being able to relate to several of the poems.
