I liked the book even though the negotiations in the middle dragged out for a while. It was originally written in Hebrew and the English translation isn't the best. It is interesting that it was written at the time, so it isn't influenced by later perceptions. Even though I know the ending, I got tears in my eyes.

Good book but gets a little long on the back story/history of each figure - and there were many - who took part in the rescue mission.
