This is probably the holy grail of coffee table books. There are not many fashionable homes out there you can visit without finding this book and there is a reason for it. It has a really sleek and stylish look and is filled with great and fashionable photos. A definite must have for any fashion-lover and stylish home.
- Sex: Ford's biggest appeal is sex, however, Ford doesn't sell sex: Ford sells the imagery of sex
- Ford doesn't intend to build sexual clothing. Rather, Ford intend to build wardrobe that essentiate a person's feature: he believes that a person looks better naked than clothed: he sells a fantasy, an act
One of the biggest books, metaphorically and literally, that I have ever read. Amazing details on how Tom Ford shaped the Gucci empire into a luxury brand. Features a lot of iconic and breath-taking Gucci's past advertisements and unpublished iamges. A foreword by Anna Wintour made this book even a better read.
How could I not add Tom Ford's book to my coffee table collection?! I love this book and all the striking photos in it. I am a huge Tom Ford fan and I adore his style and his ability to continually change the world of fashion. Everything he creates has such emotion and such impact, including this book. He is a true artist and one of the most prolific designers of our time.
If you like incredibly sexy photos of incredibly sexy people (male and female) in incredibly sexy clothes, then this book is perfect. But this iconic coffee table book didn’t do anything for me.
Wow! A stunning coffee table book detailing Tom Ford's epic overhaul of the Gucci brand. Amazing photography, original sketches, and a foreword by Anna Wintour. This book cements Tom Ford's status as one of the sexiest and most forward-thinking designers of our generation. If only my boyfriend would actually let me put this book on the coffee table!
Favorite fashion book. Tom has been my favorite American designer since the day I put my eyes on his work at Gucci. He's way of thinking of the fashion business is incredible. Will always cherish the knowledge I acquired form this book and the amazingness that is Mr. Ford.
