Molly was such a hater 🤣
I do understand that jealousy is a real part of growing up with siblings and I think Mom did a good job to averse the situation.

Only Six More Days is all about the typical brother/ sister relationship. As the story progresses, their relationship grows stronger; you can see how even though they may not be the best of friends they still show each other they care. When Molly says she wont be attending Ben's party it causes him to get very disappointed and when Molly realizes this and that she no longer has to be upset with her brother she comes around and shows her brother she truly does care. The illustrations contribute to the story in a way that is clearly shows how the characters are feeling. It clarifies what is being said and how it is supposed to be meant. The darker colors represent the hard feelings throughout the story and it helps set the tone of the story. At the end the colors get a little brighter signifying a happy ending. Children with siblings will be able to relate to the story and could make them enjoy it more.
