He remembers her as a spoiled brat. She’s used to being in charge. When their chemistry ignites will they find their strength together?

Warrick “War” Shields is all about doing the right thing. With storied careers in the military, police, and as a detective, he takes over from his dad as leader of their motorcycle club with hopes to help people trapped in abusive situations. And though settling down with a good woman has its appeal, he’s hellbent on avoiding the pampered princess he couldn’t stand in high school.

Remington “Remi” Franks is loyal to a fault. So when a ruggedly handsome guy she knew as a teen steps on her toes and tries to tell her how to run her security business, she goes all-in on pranking him into submission. But after saving his best friend’s life in a deadly ambush, the desire she’s refused to acknowledge begins to simmer when he shows deep respect and gratitude.

Ready to admit he was wrong and vowing to show Remi he’s changed, War fears a hidden foe could end their fledgling relationship. While Remi tracks the elusive threads leading to her attacker and prays she’s not making a mistake by giving War a chance.

Will their fiery love survive the circling storm?

War is the steamy first book in the Bluff Creek Brotherhood MC romance series. If you like enemies-to-lovers tension, full-metal passion, and plenty of action, you’ll adore Nat Logan’s locked-and-loaded tale.

2.5 ⭐️⭐️ I loved this book and hated it, now let's get into the reasons for that. The secondary characters were AMAZING, and I am so sad that they do not have their own books yet. Remi's sisters are awesome! They are sexy, talented, strong, smart, kickass women who can handle guns. War's MC brothers are just as great as the women in the story. They are buff, smart, loving, loyal, and badass *swoon* Remi's sister and "Rocky Road" or "Vanilla Swirl" I mean, those two tech geniuses belong together but the really cute couple to me was Winchester and Bear. I wonder how Winnie is going to feel now that Bear is the adoptive father to a dead prostitute's children. Hopefully they can become a beautiful blended family. But here lies the problems with this book! I don't care about the main characters at all. War is just an asshole, you are in your mid forties and you are still treating a girl like shit and calling her names she doesn't like because you like her but you don't realize it, Oh my god, please grow up, so pathetic. I get that the author wanted to portray a strong female character but instead, Remi came across as an unlikeable character who pushed everyone away. I got SO tired of her thinking love was a weakness, feelings are a weakness, a man will want to change her, never support her, want her to change her job. It's too dangerous to let anyone but her sisters close, she hates anything feminine, is only into wearing biker gear, she is a control freak who hates giving up power and control to anyone but wants a man to be her partner. Ok we get it Remi, anything feminine is bad and you are more manly than any of the men, Gah, she was so annoying. This is not on my read again list.

Disappointing,

Both MCs are in their 40s, so I was hoping for something more mature but what I got was, bikes being punked with pink balloons, tiaras and confetti bombs!
The h trowing a fit every time the H called her "princess" and cringy moments like when the h accidentally hits the H man parts!

Took me forever to finish, thought about DNF several times.

I honestly can't finish this book. I'm 90% through it. I wanted to like it, but the writing style and immature characters did me in. Idk if it's the sentence structure or the fact that the narration jumps back and forth constantly (past and present tense) but it made for a slow frustrating read.

Nothing Bluff about the BCB MC

Wasn't really sure what to expect. We'll I loved it, War and Remi go great together.
When you start belly laughing at bits of the book, in an empty room, you know it's a great read. Loved the sisters and the chapter in Roams tattoo shop, LOVED IT.

This was a really great read. I was pulled in from Page 1 until the very end. There was drama, action, suspense at times, and lots of spice. The plot and characters were amazing. I just could get enough of it.

Sadly, I can't give it 5 stars, though, for personal reasons. I understand that when it comes to MC books that most of the time, the characters have their birth/given names, and the MC gives them road names. For example, one characters given name is Benton, and his MC/road name is Bear. Most of the time in MC books, you mostly just read the road name with the exception of first meeting the characters. You may read both names. But the author kept bouncing back and forth between using their birth names and road names. I actually got super confused with who was who... Sadly, I still don’t remember who Noah is... maybe if that wasn't an issue for me, I could have given it 5 stars.

The main characters, Remi and War, are really the only ones that truly matter in this story as it is their story. So, as long as you can get past the fact that you may not remember who is who when it comes to side characters, you will enjoy this book. Like I said, it doesn't take away from remi and wars story it just makes trying to understand the side characters difficult at times.

Other than that a really great read and I would definitely recommend.

A new author, I basically saw her on my For You page on the clock app and had to try her book. I am sucker for an MC romance and the blurb intrigued me, so I preordered. I read the prequel about War's parents, I highly recommend it, it was really good. War and Remington have known each other since they were little. It became a contentious one when they were teens and it didn't improve. He joined the military and was gone for years. Now he is back, the new president for the Bluff Creek Brotherhood and he can't ignore Remi any longer. Remi is a bail bondsman, bounty hunter and security expert. She really knows her stuff. She always had a crush on the man even when he knew exactly how to drive her up the wall. Forced to work together, War has to face some hard truths about himself if he wants to win the heart of the woman of his dreams. I loved these two, even when they are sniping at each other. Their relationship felt very real, genuine. Remi is incredibly capable and its shown on paper, which I love. She is tough and capable, the perfect woman for the president. War isn't perfect and it shows. It made me like him even more actually. This is a great start to what I hope will be a long series that I can obsess about!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Congratulations, Nat Logan, on a great book.

Remi runs her families Bales bond company along with various other projects with her sisters and her fathers fellow MC members.

War had always intrigued her, but in teenage boy fashion, he'd messed up then left for the military.

Now he's back and has taken over from his father as president of the MC.

Remi and War lock horns from the start because he's an arse, but before long, he realises what he's missed out on and starts grovelling.

I'll stop there so I don't give too much away. Would recommend a read, though.

I'm looking forward to Bears' book.

I loved the story of War and Remi. Remi had crushed on War (known as Ricky) most of her life. The coming together of the two made a great story. This is a book with lots of excitement, adventure and an emphasis on family and family support. Not a lot of MC angst (club girls, etc.) but lots of good people working together to make life better. I'm looking forward to more from the Bluff Creek Brotherhood MC.

Fantastic

I loved this book, War and his “princess” are an awesome couple.A new to me author that I saw on TikTok and just had to read. I love a kick ass chick and that’s exactly what Remi is and exactly what War needs even if it takes him a while to realise it.Can’t wait to read about Remi’s sisters and War’s MC brothers, hopefully some of them end up together. The sparks really fly with this couple and it’s a great love story, highly recommend to everyone 🖤❤️

War

Awesome read. I absolutely loved War and Remi’s story ❤️❤️❤️ both of them so stubborn. After a few bad pranks between them, both knowing they wanted each other War finally asked her out on a date. Such a lot of drama and chaos happening for both MC and Remi’s security company. Someone wanted them dead, but who. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎 can’t wait for book 2

Love the Bluff Creek Brotherhood. There is a prequel if you follow the authors TikTok account you can get a link to. This book is set on the future of the prequel. In the prequel War goes off to join the army as soon as he graduates. Him and Remi have always been a part of each others lives even as young children. They have fought and tormented each other. They both had to overcome themselves and forces beyond their control. I loved the book. Can’t wait for the next. High heat fade to black smexy time for those wanting to know. It’s a great pallet cleanser if you need one.

I found myself a new favorite author! I absolutely loved War.
War leaves behind the police department and comes home to take his Dad's place as President of the MC. He is starting to feel like something is missing but he has no intention of exploring it with the "Princess" from high school. Remi's family owns the security company that the MC works and partners with.
War is forced to work with Remi, and a series of events leads him to realize that Remi is the farthest thing from the Princess he assumed she was. While Remi begins to see that War is not as big a jerk as she thought. Come along for a ride with the Bluff creek MC and watch as these two finally realize that together they are the King and Queen that can lead this group to help those who can't help themselves.

What did I just read?

Ok I am trying to no be harsh in this review but it’s hard. I’ve read over 340 books this year and this unfortunately, was the worst book I’ve read. I fought myself to DNF this book but it was like a train wreck I couldn’t look away from. This book had a decent premise, and I was excited to dive in. However, it was 3rd person POV which is so dated and my least favorite to read. The story had the absolute worse flow and transitions I’ve ever seen. It read like someone with adhd wrote cliff notes and presented it as a book. This is a shining example of why you need an editor, a beta team and arc readers that aren’t your friends or family hyping you up. The amount of inner dialogue that was just regurgitated over and over each chapter, all conflicting thoughts but the same on repeat was appalling. You would read about something that needed to happen in 2 weeks then 2 sentences later it was 2 weeks past said event. Each chapter jumped from either weeks , a month or several months. We didn’t get to see anything unfold really it was just half azz choppy cliffnotes months later wedged in between the drab repetitive inner monologue. If your reading this because it’s and MC romance, don’t. It’s unlike any real MC book I’ve ever read, and it’s spice is the most minimal and forgettable blip of sentences I’ve ever seen in a romance book. It missed all the marks for me. I was in a constant state of frustration and confusion because one second your hearing the MMCs inner thoughts and then the next sentence it’s the FMCS and nothing in real time. I’ve only ever given 1 other 1 star rating and that was last year. And now I’m so mad I wasted my night reading this when my TBR is full.

This author definitely has potential. I enjoyed this story. The sisters are great. The MC brothers are great. A great family vibe all around. I especially liked Bear and Winnie.

But there's a lot going on here, and it doesn't all make sense.

Why are two of the five sisters named after guns, but the other three aren't?

Remi and War grew up together, and though she
had a crush on him in highschool, he embarrassed her once, unknowingly humiliating her, and knowingly irritating her.

He leaves town at 18 and TWENTY-FIVE YEARS later when he comes back - now a MAN in his forties - he starts right back up irritating her again. He's been gone longer than they'd known each other - has lived an entire lifetime elsewhere - and this is how behaves when he returns??? Huh. Okay. This might have made a bit more sense if the length of time he was away was closer to ten years, but 25 is REALLY stretching it.

The baddies don't really make any sense either. Over 40 years ago Sneak had issues with the club and went to prison, to reportedly die. Obviously his death was faked.

So after 40 years he, his woman, and their two adult children are now after the protagonists, with no new provocation and just a 40 year old grudge egging them on???

To what end?

Revenge on the MC for being sent to prison? Revenge on Remi's dead mom for disfiguring his hand?

This is grounds for several extremely elaborate murder attempts???

The targets (Remi and War) were babies back then. It just doesn't make sense.

I give this a 3.5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟

This book had been on my TBR for a while

So, I decided to give it a go

I struggled with it a lot, but it was all and all a good read

I did like the dynamics of it and the strong family ties, etc

But the formatting was all over the place, so it was hard to grasp who was speaking. Which chapter was about which character, the book felt too busy, also a lot of mistakes and typos.

The sister are tight and have a good relationship and know there shit and what there doing remi is a strong woman but she annoyed the shit out of me too lol but she knew who and what she wanted and wasnt guna settle for anything less

But i found it odd that war would be made prez but not be in the know about everything going on in the MC, why didnt his father or the originals tell him what was going on, why did he have to learn shit from remi or other members thats just not how an MC should be run u dont throw someone into the prez position and leave em high an dry on what and how the MC is running.

Considering he was gone, they still should have updated him when he was away serving or when he was a cop.

The names and characters were very hard to grasp and figure out who was who, but i got it by chapter 14, lol

The fact that war and remi were in their early 40s was odd to me, but by that age, they knew what they wanted it was just a matter of time

The ending was cute, tho.
I can't wait to read Bears Story, tho.

2.5 stars. What a mixed bag.

I loved the secondary characters, they were awesome. And seemed fun.

But the main characters were actually very annoying. War was just odd. Mean to the FMC and calling her names, acting really childish. And Remi was childish in a different way. Some of the text was really repetitive. Which is a bit of a shame because I really liked the premise. I liked the more realistic approach of them not being able to figure it all out straight away.

I think there could have been a lot more mileage in the prank war but even that felt odd.

So it was OK. It's not gonna be in my top ten. But because I liked the secondary characters so much, I'll probably attempt the next one.

Title of my review

The story had a good plotline, and the characters were interesting, but it felt like you should’ve known who everybody was before you started reading. There was a lot of times that timeline seemed off or the point of view changed in the middle of a page.
There was a lot of things you did not get details on .
It was a cute little read, but it was hard to get through .

Honestly, MC romances aren’t usually my thing. There’s often a lot of misogyny surrounding them and even if they aren’t “bad” MCs, a lot of those themes still persist.

This book was much more in line with the MCs I like to read. Mostly above board but with a touch of vigilante justice and the women being equal partners and not delicate flowers. I would even go so far as to say that the author actually used her MMC to dismantle the idea of misogyny in the MC.

And War and Remi had a lot of great chemistry in the beginning. Lots of back and forth and enemies who were also insanely attracted to each other.

But once they got together I felt like the whole book went stagnant. The transitions were awkward and the plot line stilted and things just dragged.

You also were left in the dark about a lot of their history. Like, I felt like there was SO much backstory lurking around for everyone and we only got it when it was convenient. (Like War and the rookie he trained which came out of LEFT FIELD.) I wanna know what happened with War and the sheriff. I want to know what happened to War and Remi that they despised each other so much (was it really just he messed up her dress and said something jerky? Was that really ALL that caused years of animosity?)

I also felt like the author was filling space a lot, constantly repeating stuff because she needed the book to be book length. Which is weird since a little backstory would have solved that problem.

Really, I think this story just needed to be smoothed around the edges. There was so much good stuff in there and I was completely interested in these characters, but I feel like I was deprived of the opportunity to really get to know them.

An Exceptional Start To The Series.

This book features War (Warrick ) and Remi (Remington) in an enemies to lovers romance. Taking over the role from his father, War is the newest President of the Bluff Creek Brotherhood MC, he’s returned home after 20+ years away from home first in the military and later as a police detective.

He’s single and has no plans to alter that status. Remi works alongside her sisters in the company their parents built from scratch. There’s no cushy office in a high rise building somewhere, instead the girls operate as Bail Bond and Recovery Agents. As a teen Remi had a huge crush on War or Ricky as she knew him then. His memory of her was of a spoiled brat a typical princess, he wasn’t shy about letting her know that. So when he breezes back into her life and insists on having a say in her security business that employs several of his MC brothers. It’s no wonder that she’s frustrated that he’s still her ideal man. Two strong personalities clash often daily but both are attracted to each other. What next?

This is my first read with this author and I was very pleasantly surprised that I absolutely loved it. The characters are so easy to empathise with, it’s dual pov so you get both perspectives of the main characters. On top of that there’s a huge cast of characters that feature strongly too. The world building is on another level, allowing you to visualise the MC compound and the nearby Franks & Daughters Security Company’ holdings.

The MC doesn’t appear to be a 1% club but they aren’t angels either. Next up is war’s best friend Bear, at the end of this book he had a huge problem fall into his lap. I honestly couldn’t be happier that there are a LOT more books in this series.

Nat Logan is a new author to me and after reading War and Remington’s story I am completely and utterly addicted. This MC romance is fast paced, full of action, has a beautiful sense of family, and have I mentioned how addictive it is.

War is a larger than life dominant alpha male. I love his determination and drive but I have to say I wanted to reach through the pages and shake the beautiful man when he couldnt let go of the girl he knew as a child to embrace the woman that was standing before him.

I felt for him as he tried to find his place within the family after so long away, but watching him with Baton and his mum was so endearing and heartwarming. Their relationships deep and true.

Remington is a strong and kickass woman who no one in their right mind would want to cross. She has a backbone of steel and is driven to succeed in everything she does. Watching the relationship she has with her father and sisters is so heartwarming, as is the close relationship with the MC.
She’s independent and has a strong sense of right and wrong. In other words she awe inspiring!!

Watching War and Remington circle each other, neither willing to give an inch was both endearing and funny. The jokes they played weee brilliant and just added to the addictive mess of an already compelling read.

Nat Logan is certainly a lady with immense talent as she adds just the right amount of depth and emotion. It’s definitely a rollercoaster ride you’ll have to hang on tight with as you traverse the exciting ups and downs of this absolutely fantastic read.

Can’t recommend highly enough.

5 stars is nowhere near enough to fully portray just how wonderful a read this story is.

Dreadful!

I don't even know where to start. So many great reviews and this thing reads like a 15 y.o. wrote it. Se(x)s and all.
The plot is absolutely idiotic, fantastical tall tales noone in their right mind would believe. I gave up on it when a bomb exploded, building was on fire but our main characters managed to hide in ... an underground network of tunnels with a big safe room containing all medical supplies. I mean ... be serious!
The writing is choppy, there is a lot of telling, almost no showing.
Se(x)y times made me giggle and roll my eyes. The word 'claiming' repeated over and over. We got it! He kissed her!

As a MC book there is hardly any of it.
The MMC- War becomes a prez without knowing anything about the current MC situation and their business deals.
The book focuses on FMC who, obviously, is a badass ninja capable of anything. Give me a break!

I'm too old to read bad books, moving on at 65%.
Onwards and upwards.

War and Remington

I just devoured War and Remington's story and I'm hooked - like, intervention-level addicted. This MC romance is a wild ride, packed with action, a healthy dose of family feels, and a serious risk of addiction. War is a force to be reckoned with - a dominant alpha male with a heart of gold, even if he can be a bit dim when it comes to women. I mean, come on, dude, it's time to let go of the girl and fall for the amazing woman standing right in front of you. Remington, on the other hand, is a total boss - a strong, sassy, and seriously kickass heroine who's not afraid to speak her mind. Watching her and War dance around each other, trading barbs and witty one-liners, is hilarious and adorable. Nat Logan's writing is pure magic, adding just the right amount of depth and emotion to this already addictive read. Buckle up, folks, because this one's a helluva ride and definitely recommend everyone reading!

This is not only the first book in a new series but also the first time I have read the authors work and omg, I loved this, from the beginning I was hooked.

War is the new President of the Bluff Creek Brotherhood MC having been given the gavel by his dad, Baron, he’s been giving Remi flack, remembering what she was like in high school but once he realises what a douche he was being with her after she saved his best friend, though in his defence, she didn’t make things easy for him, he realises that she’d grown into a strong and capable woman who he wanted, he’s always liked her but thought her off limits, now he needed to show her that he could be a loving and equal partner whilst letting her do what she needed to do, then someone is targeting both the MC and Bail Bond Security company and they need to find out who.

Remington and War. Remington is a single badass woman who works at catching skippers out on Bond and also Security. She shares her work with her other sisters. War is in a MC with his dad and brother and also all the Brothers in the MC. He has been gone for a while and now that he is back he is the President of the Motorcycle Club taking over for his dad. He’s known Remington since they were kids. He nicknamed her Princess since high school and it did not sit well with her. They have been enemies ever since. What is even worse is that Remi has always been attracted to War. Why? Heaven only knows! Will they ever be friends? Guess someone needs to change their attitude and get to know the real Remington. And who pray tell would that be? Come along with me and read about the possible changes between these two. It should be extremely outlandish!!!!

Two warriors

I enjoyed the storyline of this book about Remington (Remi) and War. War has just returned to the motorcycle club family as it's president after serving in the military and being a police officer. He and Remington grew up together but as young teens he picked on her and animosity grew between them. When they meet back up as adults they still seem like enemies in the way they interact with each other. After a security assignment goes wrong, War offers comfort and it changes their relationship. This is a romantic book with dream dates and hot spice. There is some angst and also some threats with dangerous situations. I can't wait to start the next book in the series.
