I am currently an RCC student taking a psychology class and our professor had made mention that we should pick this up earlier on in the semester. This book had me so intrigued that I finished it in record time. It sent me through all sorts of emotions and brought me to tears the further I read into it (it was like I could feel my own heart breaking). I think so many of us are so thankful that he is so open to this day about speaking about this tragedy and that he had the ability to get back on his feet after something like this. I had the pleasure of actually getting to meet Mr. Burchett after finishing the book and spoke with him in a great conversation about the lack of focus on perinatal psychology. We as a society need to be taking psychological disorders a hell of a lot more seriously than we do, and we need to be going so far as intervening BEFORE baby is born.
