I listened to the Audible version of this book and it was a "middle of the road" type of story for me. The dialogue frequently seemed immature and even irritating. It also didn't help that the narrator for Maddie came off as a complete ditz. (Think Dory from 'Finding Nemo' and you'll have a good idea of how this character came across.)

Logan is the town's bad boy. He has followed in his father's footsteps, stealing cars to get by. Being a Martelli, his job options are limited by his family's criminal legacy. Even if he wanted to break the mold, nobody would dare take a chance on him. So, he does the only thing he knows to keep a roof over the heads of his drunk father and two younger brothers.

Maddie's life has been everything that Logan's hasn't. She's a good girl and her father's pride and joy. Being the mayor's daughter has some perks. She's led a privileged life, never wanting for anything.

When Maddie catches Logan's attention one day, sparks fly between the two. Logan has been the object of Maddie's affections for years, but events long past have made them destined to be enemies. Logan and his family hold Maddie's father responsible for their station in life, believing that he set up Logan's father for a life of crime when they were young.

As Logan struggles to come to terms with his feelings for Maddie, he's forced to reconcile the girl he knows with the heartless brat he had envisioned for years. More importantly, he has to decide whether or not vengeance is worth hurting the girl that he has grown to love.

This story had plenty of angst and enough "on again, off again" dramatics to make your head spin. There were a few surprises, especially toward the very end. However, there wasn't anything too earth-shattering.

Overall, it was an okay story. It was good enough for passing some time, but won't make a lasting impression with me. I give it three stars.

Eh, not for me at all. Author was talented in writing and editing but the dialogue, thoughts and actions of the 20 yr old heroine was that of a 16 year old girl to me. I laughed out loud at some of the things she said and what they said to each other even though it wasn't meant to be funny. Plus she chased after him constantly, which I didn't like. She also let him say some awful things to her one min and the next she'd be laughing with him.****spolier alert**** And near the end when he misunderstood her actions and opened the door so her father could catch them having sex, well... Lets just say he didn't have to try very long to earn her forgiveness.**** I felt she was easy, a mostly doormat heroine with a wild streak for life and a big schemer lol ***** plus the plot was kind of unbelievable to me near the end. I don't know, I read this because I bought it but it personally wasn't for me. Plus this 20 and 25 yr old couple both still lived with their parents. I don't know, I think for me this felt like a book for teenagers with her crush and some adult sex thrown in the mix.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

These two crazy kids frustrated the shit out of me. Either you want to be together or you don't. And all the back and forth, chasing each other then running away worked my nerves. Not to mention the horrible thing Logan does to Maddie out of pure stupidity and miscommunication. The writing was fine, but the 2 MCs could take a lesson in dysfunctional partnerships and how to avoid them.

Jenee's Book Blog
“It’s going to be crazy.” I laughed.
“No, it’s going to be beautiful.” She poked me.
“Okay, it’s going to be crazy beautiful.”
“That’s love."

J.S. Cooper wrote another keeper in my opinion. Crazy Beautiful Love was exactly like its title. I loved the characters, the story line, the suspense and best of all there was no cliffhanger! I have a felling this will be a series about the three brothers and I cannot wait for the next book to be released. I couldn’t put this book down. I kept telling myself I would stop when I got to a good stopping point, you know that spot where you aren’t dying to know what is just about to happen, but I never got to a point when I didn’t want to see what was around the corner.

Logan Martelli and his two brothers, Vincent and Jared, were known as the bad boys in their small town. They were classified as thieves (which Logan was), players, and trouble in general. These were the boys your parents warned you to stay away from. Just one little problem with that assessment… although Logan was a thief, he didn’t want to be and to be quite honest he really wasn’t a player either. But after time, going along with everyone’s assumptions just became easier than constantly trying to prove to the world he was something different. No one really cared about the real Logan so why should he take the time to let them in and see the real man behind the rumors. He pretty much stuck to taking care of his family by any means necessary until the day he was stealing a car to sell and some crazy, beautiful girl jumped in his car after attempting to steal a cop car for a joy ride. That was the day his life changed with one look into her beautiful purple eyes…

Maddie Wright is crazy, in a good way. She has been sheltered her entire life by her father, the mayor, and is busting at the seams to get out from under him. Growing up in a small town, everyone knows everything (they want to know) about everyone. So it’s no surprise that Maddie knows about Logan’s troublesome ways, what is a surprise is that she doesn’t care and has been crushing on a guy she’s never even met since she was a teenager. She knows he’s not how everyone portrays him and wants to get to know the real Logan. She pursues him and confuses the hell out of him at every turn.

The sparks between these two are off the charts. Their first night together was hot and seemed to be an amazing start to a new relationship. But then something happens. Logan finds out who Maddie’s father is and he goes cold on her instantly and starts saying mean and demeaning things to her to push her away. Maddie of course doesn’t take the hint and still pursues him in spite of his distaste for her and her family.

Logan’s family hates the mayor for reasons I won’t tell you. Let’s just say they blame him for the death of his mother, the disrepair of their family, their father being a drunk, and their status as car thieves in order to make money. He refuses to tell Maddie why he hates her father but when Jared suggests he use her to get revenge on her father he has a hard time agreeing. For some reason she has gotten to him and he can’t bear the thought of hurting her.
“You’re mine, Maddie Wright.” I looked into her eyes possessively. “You’re mine and I am never letting you go.”

I’m going to stop here because I’m at a point when anything I say could seriously spoil the story for you. But there are so many secrets revealed that you will not be able to put the book down until you figure out the puzzle. Let’s just say I can usually see a twist coming a mile away but not with this book. I was floored at some of the secrets revealed. This book definitely kept me on my toes with the suspense, angst, passion, secrets and turn of events. I loved it. I rated it at 4.5 Stars!

I really don't understand how this book has so many good reviews. I mean, it isn't terrible by any means. The writing is pretty good (though boring in parts), the sex scenes are pretty well described, and there were very few errors- none that interfere with meaning. However, the plot and dialogue were definitely flawed.

The plot progresses rapidly and didn't really hook me. Logan is appealing superficially, but his moods change so quickly, it's difficult for the reader to keep up. He seems damn near bi-polar. It becomes slightly easier to tell when he's being genuine and when he's being a jerk as the book goes on, but the fluctuation of moods damn near gave me whiplash at parts. I did like Maddie's character.

The dialogue is a major issue for me. A lot of it is contrived and not how early twenty-somethings would speak. The author also uses dialogue to summarize events for the reader and it's brutal to get through. For example, at the end of the novel (I'll be vague so as not to spoil anything), two characters are speaking and one is explaining how his life has changed. But the person he's telling all this to would already have this information! It's a totally unnecessary convo that the author threw in because she didn't know how else to get the information across.

Lastly, some of the paragraphs are much too long. Readers generally appreciate breaks in text, not paragraphs that span more than a page.

So, overall, I give two stars because I was at least able to finish it.

This book was just okay. It was quick and a little over the top on the hero's dramatics. I didn't really feel too much of a bad boy vibe coming off Logan. I mean there was a lot of talk of how much he and his brothers were the bad boys of the town, but it was pretty much all talk and no show.
I did enjoy the heroine. Her character came off as fun, quirky and true.
The plot of the story was good. I liked how the author wove the two lives together and they didn't even know their whole lives where intertwined until they started talking. The sex was hot and enjoyable. Not too much, but not too little either.
I had a couple complaints with how things played out. I felt the hero was just so over the top with his feelings. He never kept the same personality. He was totally in love one minute and the next he just KNEW she was lying and trying to set him up somehow. Then the whole party scene at the house? None of that made sense to me either. Again it was just an over the top situation where dramatics really shouldn't have been required.

First off before I say anything...
HOLY BIRTHDAY CAKE BATMAN!
HOW PRETTY IS THIS GUY??!?!

 photo oie_1141139pc6gRXLU_zpseeda3448.jpg

I COULD STARE AT HIM ALLLL DAY....

"Cause your hot." She giggled and leaned towards me. "I'm sure plenty of girls come onto you and say that. But I'm not one of those girls. But your hot. Like James Dean. You've got that air about you." She nodded. "Definitely a James Dean look: dark blond hair, shimmering, hooded green eyes, slight stubble, and you look like trouble."
"I look like trouble?" I raise an eyebrow at this strange but honest girl.
"I know, right? It's ironic." She laughed. "Here I am, running from the cops, and you're here sitting in your car, and I'm saying your trouble."

OK anyway..

This was my first book by this Author and I really liked it.

Logan is the towns bad boy...
well, his whole family has a reputation actually.
As thieves.
Because they are.
They steal cars for a living.

Logan doesn't want too, but he has to look after his little brothers Vincent and Jared as his Dad is a drunk with a chip on his shoulder. Logan tried to do right at one time, but no one can look past his families past, so he just went along with it. He wants more for his brothers though.

One night at the pier Logan nearly gets knocked over by a girl.
... I saw a glimpse of someone darting by me. And when I say dart, I mean running like lightning. I watched as the figure looked back quickly, and I was startled by the intense blue eyes that connected with mine. It wasn't the stare that shocked me, but the fact that it was a girl. She winked at me and continues running.

In the split second that their eyes lock, you actually FEEL their connection Logan see's something in her eyes that he has been missing for years.
He has other things to do, like steal a car. The reason he was at the pier.

On the drive home after jacking the car he sees the girl again.
This Crazy Beautiful girl jumps into his car...
then tells him all about how she tried to steal a cop car for a joyride.
Is very buzzed now and she wants him...

"I trust my gut instincts." She smiled at me sweetly. "You're not a bad guy."
"What sort of guy am I then?" I held my breath waiting for her answer.
"You're the guy I'm going to marry."

Logan knows he should take the very beautiful Maddie home but he can't.. He just can't...

He takes her to a field where things get VERY HAWT!!!

Maddie and Logan have CRAZY chemistry going on! She knows exactly who he is and doesn't care...
She wants him..
Has wanted him for years...

Things however take a drastic turn when Logan learns that Maddie is in fact Maddie Wright.
The Mayor's daughter.
The man he hates.
The Man who ruined his life.

Maddie doesn't care or pry about his hatred for her Father.
She just wants Logan.
He is so hot and cold she doesn't know how he really feels.

Logan's brother Jared thinks it's the perfect opportunity to hurt the Mayor.
By hurting his princess.
It's a modern day Capulet Vs Montague.

Logan and Maddie are both playing a dangerous game.
They both want each other but they can't be together...

“When I look at you, Maddie, I feel as if I’m being transported to another world. A world of good, a world of wonder, a world that makes me believe in good and right. A world that makes me believe in love.”

In a world of secret, lies, betrayal, love, lust there can only be one winner...
But who wins?
The Bad boy who wants to be good?
Or the Good girl with a bad streak?

I'm not going to say anymore than that as I don't want to ruin the twists and turns in this book. Told from joint POV from Logan and Maddie it is a great ride!

But in all honesty I am a fan now and can't wait to check out her other novels!

What happens when the town's dashing criminal meets the crazy girl ... Collision ... Explosion ... thats what happens ....

Maddie is indeed one hell of a crazy girl ,but she is headstrong , confident , and beautiful. She is rich & maybe a bit spoiled ,but She is so sweet and caring. She also doesn't hesitate in asking what she wants.

Logan Martelli , town' bad boy, steals car , eldest of the Martelli brother , but there is much more to him than the mere facts. He has a heart of gold & guilty conscience. He is responsible and caring brother. He has dreams ,and yet he sacrifices them for his family.

Well , my favorite part in any romance novels is always the one where the First encounter takes place ... & this one just goes in ma most favorites list ,OH MY GOSH , it was simply what the name suggests : Crazy Beautiful & lovely ....

Their love is very strong , and there are moments where Logan does some really stupid, WTH is wrong with you ,but eventually you ll forgive him, he tried to hate her , but how could he , when he had already fallen for her the moment he saw those beautiful eyes...

Maddie's faith & her loyalty proves how much she loved him, and she saw him more than just a handsome bad boy , she saw his inner struggles , & not only helped his family , but also changed his whole life in beautiful way.

There's this puzzle of past with, romance and action thrown in.The characters and story are beautifully, well crafted. The story sucked me in and held me.

I also enjoyed reading about the younger Martelli brothers & excited to read their own stories , now I am hooked to this series ... and its killing me to wait one whole year for sequels ... damn u J.S.Cooper ...

The storyline was okay. But the dialogue was awful! I felt like I was listening to conversations between two 12-year-old adolescents, not a 20-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man. "I like you. Do you like me?" and "I like you too, a whole lot" Really? No one over 13 talks like that!! And i'm pretty sure I got whiplash from the ups and downs of the conversations. In one line they're saying how much they adore each other and then in the next they're arguing and pushing each other away. Also, the H and h's relationship was bizarrely developed. Maddie was pretty much a stocker, and Logan takes the news with excitement? And before you know it they're in love? Not getting it. Everybody loves angst and drama, but I felt like it was forced on me in this book.

I fell completely in love with this book. It was such a great story. It has romance, family, and even a little bit of thrills in it. You will love the Martelli Brothers. They are such amazing guys.

I loved Maddie. She was a very brave and courageous girl. She saw what she wanted and she went after it. She definitely held her own when it came to the three brothers especially Logan.

"That's Love," she leaned in to kiss me again. "It's going to be a house filled with crazy beautiful love." (Maddie)

Logan, o how I just ADORED him. He was sweet, caring, strong, and has such a beautiful heart. I loved that he did whatever he had to take care of his brothers and that no matter what he looked out for them. They are such a strong family. I also loved how he was with Maddie. No matter what the history was he didn't let it get in his way of happiness and love. He's one of those guys that just snag your heart and you want nothing but love and happiness for him. It is such a great book, definitely one of my most favorite books now. I can't wait for the rest of the series so I see how things go for the other brothers. You will love all of them. I honestly don't have a favorite right now, I couldn't choose if I tried. They were all three just wonderful.

"But I couldn't stop thinking of your sweet smile and confident manner. And you kept coming back for more, and you seemed to get me, to understand me, to know and like me. You saw the real me. The me inside of the shell. You saw the real Logan Martelli, and I couldn't stop myself from falling for you." (Logan)

"I love you because you're spunky and brave. I love you because you're the first person I think of in the morning and the last person I see before I go to bed at night. I dream of you and live my days thinking about how I can be a better man for you. I don't know how I lived without you in my life, Maddie Wright." (Logan)

The heroine, Maddie, knows what she wants and goes after it. Maddie wanted to meet Logan Martelli and she is going to do whatever it takes to meet him.
Logan is the town’s hot bad boy. His mother died when he was younger and it was just his brothers, his dad and him. He wants a better life for his brothers than what he has to live which is stealing cars to make a living.

When Logan meets Maddie, he does not know what to think of her. She is running from the police after attempting to steal a police car. A girl who never has gotten into trouble and has always followed the rules decides today she is going to be a bad girl. The day she meets Logan.

“I like you, Logan Martelli. You’re a sexy, wonderful mystery.”

Logan knows he needs to stay away from Maddie especially after he finds out who her father is. As
Logan and Maddie relationship heats up we find out the connection between their families. Maddie just knows one thing and that is she wants Logan. Logan on the other hand does not believe in love, but he can’t help but fall for Maddie.

“You’re the guy I’m going to marry.”

I did not know what to think of these two in the beginning. Maddie really does know what she wants but I think she makes mistakes getting Logan to notice or be with her. She knows it, but she can’t seem to help it. Logan is not used to trusting people so it is hard for him to believe that Maddie wants him for him and not the reasons he thinks. I was not sure if I trusted Logan’s feelings for Maddie at first. Not sure if I liked him at first, but after I got to know him, I understood why he was the way he was. I am glad that later Maddie stood up to Logan about how he treated her. Maddie opened up to Logan very quickly and I did not want to see him take advantage of that.

A copy of this book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you.

A modern day Romeo and Juliet, Logan Martelli is the town bad boy dead set on providing a way for his family until a girl with dark hair and violet eyes by the name of Maddie Wright runs by him and catches his eye.

From the moment this book began all I could think of was…this chic is crazy Maddie…

But Logan was feelin’ it and even drank the kool aid so I was like..

Once the truth comes out and Maddie sees the light all hell breaks loose, people get shot, a Bugatti, a million dollars and then finally…

Logan

Man, the man was literally a yoyo I was dizzy from his inability to make up his mind but damn could the man Maddie scream his name… and that’s all that matters right? A mind blowing orgasm.

Maddie

I enjoyed this book, I did not expect some of what happened to happen where as other stuff was predictable.

It was fun, and I will be looking out for more Martelli brother's

Crazy beautiful Love is AMAZING!! This is my new favourite, I loved it. JS Cooper has out done herself yet again. Logan is the bad boy ever girl wishes she had hot as hell and sexy as sin and smarter than everyone thinks. Maddie is pretty, kind, a good person and she's daddy's girl but isn't so innocent. She can talk circle around Logan and even makes herself seem a little crazy, and because of it Logan can't stay away, he was hooked he just didn't want to admit it. Their relationship had one hell of a bumpy ride and really wasn't easy there was a lot of history between them even though they had just met. I loved that I never knew what was coming. I laughed, was shock and got worried and I even had some tears. I really hope to see more of Maddie and Logan in the next book.

Some of my favourite quotes:

"You're the guy I'm going to marry."

"I love you, Logan Martelli, from the tips of my toes to the hair on the top of my head. I love you with every fibre of my being. You are everything to me. You will always hold the key to my heart."

"Well, I love you because you're you. You're the man of my dreams, the man of my heart, the light in my life, and I've known this all from the start."

"It's going to be a house filled with crazy beautiful love."

Thank you JS Cooper for another amazing read and for give us Logan to dream about!

I see this one pop up on my newsfeed a lot, also there's a lot of 5 star reviews from the GR friends, also I FB liked J.S. Cooper, so I see a lot of buzz on this read. I may just have to dive in and read it.

This is not the typical bad boy meets good girl story.

Logan Martelli is a bad boy. He's handsome, sexy, and knows what he wants. He steals cars. He doesn't do relationships. And he has the hottest green eyes in River Valley.

Maddie Wright is a good girl with a wild streak. She's confident, strong, and goes after whatever or whoever she wants. And Maddie wants Logan Martelli with a passion.

One fateful night brings Logan and Maddie together and electricity sparks between them. Maddie and Logan make a real connection, but when Logan finds out who she is, he wants nothing to do with her. However, he soon realizes he can get the ultimate revenge for his family if he continues to date Maddie. The problem is he's starting to fall for Maddie, and he knows that a relationship will mess up everything.

Logan has to decide if revenge is worth losing his one shot at real love. What price will he pay if he betrays the one woman who may finally see behind his bad boy image?

This book is like every other J. S. Cooper books I've read. The plot is simplistic, the characters are predictable, and the quality of writing is poor. I like reading her novels because they are mindless romances that always have a happy ending. This plot was less predictable that her other novel, but the love story was obvious. Not to mention that these kids get away with years of robbery and are sympathized with. The father is an abusive drunk and lives happily every after. The dialogue was unrealistic; I don't know if you've met a man before but they do not ramble on about emotions for pages and pages. It is obvious it was written by a woman which is disappointing because much of the story is from a bad boys point of view.
The closing chapter was ridiculous because the dialogue didn't flow what so ever! They way they spoke was like they were talking to the reader rather than conversing with each other. It would have been more successful if Logan reflected on his life's turning on his own. Then had Maddie run and and have the proposal. And another thing: most men don't wear heart shaped necklaces!

I have to admit, I had no plans of enjoying this book. I just read it for a reading challenge. But from the moment Maddie Wright opened her mouth, I was captivated.

Sure, it wasn't super original but hardly no book is anymore. Bad boy Logan Martelli, scarred by his father's past and shunned by society as a criminal finds love in the daughter of his father's enemy. Romeo and Juliet anyone?

I loved Maddie's vivaciousness, her determination to make Logan fall in love with her; and her kind heart. She could be stubborn and annoying but I liked her refreshing personality.

Logan was an ass. He could have become more than the labels he was given but he didn't even try --- not until he met Maddie. Although I am much more interested in Vincent's character, it wasn't hard not to love Logan. He was a knight in shining armor in the end.

All in all, a great read (for me). I'm hoping to read the next installment.

I loved JS Cooper's other books but this one just seemed off. The dialogue between Logan and Maddie was so childish. She was so immature. He supposedly grew up in this hard life taking care of his brothers but he wasn't street smart enough to figure out what was really going on. Everything just seemed to be too convenient for Maddie. She really did come off as this spoiled little rich princess who was determined to get what she wants and that was Logan. She didn't even really know him and she's telling him she plans to marry him. It was like she lived in this fantasy world she made up in her head. I kept waiting for them to say she was really just released from a psych ward and not home from college. She kept flip flopping all over the place. I never really grew to like her. Logan was okay but I didn't fall in love with him.

I LOVED this book. I loved Logan ad Maddie. Their chemistry was crazy sexy and beautifully explosive. Logan definitely is at the top of my book hottie list. Bad boy with a good heart and sexy as hell...oh yeah I'm in love. He is strong and dominate and everything he does, he does with passion. Amazing. Cannot wait for the other Martelli Brother books. I loves Maddie`s personality. She is cute and fun and honest and forward and determined. She is one of my favorite heroines to date. The ending was a lot to take in...a lot happening...but really good. I would definitely recommend this book and I will be reading it again.

It pains me to say that I just couldn't finish this book. I very rarely leave a book unfinished but I couldn't continue past 55% on this. Maddie and Logan might as well have been five year olds the way they talked to each other and the whole thing came across as very childish. Logan treated her like a piece of shit and said unthinkable things to her yet she called him things like "wonderful & mysterious. Uh....reality check needed mucho! The story dragged on and became very boring and I lost interest very quickly.

I hate giving books bad reviews it physically pains me because I know how much work and love goes into it and honestly I feel like I am telling someone that their baby is ugly or something but this was bad. I probably wouldn't have powered through the last 200 pages if I wasn't behind on my challenge (i'm a firm believer in the "life's to short to read books you don't enjoy" philosophy) but I made it through it damn it! so here is the review

the rest of this review is spoilery and ranty so read at your own risk

did anyone else feel like this or am I as crazy as Mad Maddie over here?

Logan despises the town of River Valley and its residents who only know Logan as the town's bad boy car thief, but Maddie wants to know more about the gorgeous boy she's been infatuated with since she was in high school.

Maddie Wright shows up at the pier to "accidentally" bump into Logan Martelli. In a moment of recklessness decides to steal a cop car. I mean, what better way to catch the attention of the town car thief? And man does he notice! When he picks her up in a stolen car just moments later he realizes this beautiful girl may also be a little crazy. She's forward, confident and brazen and Logan is more than intrigued. More importantly is that Maddie doesn't seem to judge him by his reputation or career path.
Are you crazy? I just told you I stole this car, and you want to stay in here with me?”

“Why wouldn’t I? I just told you I tried to steal a cop car.”

“But that’s different.” I started the engine and sighed. “You did it for fun.”

“This is your career?” She sounded surprised.

“Yes,” I bit out, and pulled away from the curb. “This is my career.”

“Well, no wonder you’re better than me at stealing cars.”

“Where do you live?” I studied the road ahead of me. I didn’t understand this girl. Why didn’t she have more common sense?

This s is not the normal response Logan gets from people obviously and she continues to baffle him, but in a good way. People know he's trouble and now he's pretty sure she's trouble too.
CRAZY BEAUTIFUL LOVE is well written from both Logan and Maddie's point of views. Maddie continued to surprise me in her efforts to wear Logan down. She's a privileged girl, but she's tough and it’s a perfect compliment to Logan. Logan is definitely hot. The bad boy thing is sexy, but you do see more to him quickly, which is very endearing. I loved the chemistry between these two characters. You can feel the heat pouring off the pages and the banter brings more to their relationship. I really found it intriguing how J.S. Cooper wove the characters and their pasts together. It was beautifully complicated and really added to the story instead of distracting from it. There are also many secondary characters who really make the story more interesting. The only part I found weird was some of Logan's dialogue that just didn't seem to fit the character. It felt like it came out of left field and it wasn't really him speaking.

CRAZY BEAUTIFUL LOVE is an entertaining and enjoyable read. I love a heroine who is strong and fights for what she wants and Maddie delivers. This is book one about the Martelli Brothers. Can't wait to see what happens with Jared and Vincent in the next installment featuring these hottie bad boys.

whoosh

whoosh

You hear that?
That's the emotional whiplash I got from all of Logan's hot/cold emotions. Logan is the towns bar boy criminal. He steals cars, for a living. Hmmm... That was my first thought, then my second thought was why?

Maddie and Logan meet one night when they are both stealing cars. Except Maddie is getting chased by a cop because...well...she tried to steal a cop car. Lol. She was so not what I expected, spunky yet innocent. Confident, beautiful, crazy, kind, has a sense of humor...I could go on and on. Bottom line, she is awesome and I loved her as a character.

Logan it took longer to kinda warm up to him. Sure, he is hot but he needs to get over himself. He had or has a hard life but that is no reason to always have to bring up that fact that they are poor and the mayor ruined his family's life...blah blah blah. It got annoying. Plus their is a certain part in the book that reallllly pissed me off. If you look at my updates you will see by my comment I made, that I wasn't a fan of Logan! To me, what he did was inexcusable. And I lost my respect for what he does to Maddie.

By the end of the book I can't say that I love him or even like him. He is just okay to me. I am more if a fan of Jared. Now I really can't wait for his book!

The sex scenes were sexy as hell! Even though I don't like Logan much, that guy sure dies know how to make a woman happy;)

And that last few chapters of the book, wow! I have up taking a much needed nap to read a book I couldn't put down.

Crazy Beautiful Love has everything from romance, all the way to mystery and suspense. There are even some twists that had my head spinning. But most of all, it's a story about loving someone for who they are and not who you think they are.

I would like to start with a bit of a background for this book, which is part of a series (or novel, whatever you’d like to call it) of standalone books featuring three brothers: Logan, Jared, and Vincent (each book feat a different brother).

Crazy Beautiful Love will tell the story of Logan Martelli and Maddie Wright.

Logan is a car thief, a very good one, and freaking handsome as well, who carries a big baggage on his back. Logan has two younger brothers, Jared and Vincent, and a drunk father, and he’s full of hate towards a whole family, the Wrights. So, yes, as you can see Logan has the worst background we/you could ever imagine, and yet, he’s a good guy.

Maddie is the mayor’s daughter, young, beautiful, and trying to start a career in theft just to meet Logan; all due to a teenager crush.

Through the book you’ll notice that both characters will try to either get away with each other, or stay away from each other lives… There’s some small, if I can say that, action scene. But it sure as hell will bring some surprises, and the ending you’ll find it to be perfect.

I did love this book, is full of love, craziness, fights, mystery (yes, remember the mention of “surprise”?), and decision making upon every character. You will fall crazily in love with every character and hate one completely, and the other you will love/hate. Yeah, I think this paragraph sums up everything.

I do however stress that are hot scenes within this book, so please, caution (it’s not Fifty Shades kind of hot, but still).

Crazy Beautiful Love (The Martelli Brothers) Logan Martelli and his brothers are the bad boys in their home town. Maddie Wright is the good girl who wants to be bad and she wants Logan. Logan is a criminal and Maddie is the town's princess because of who her father is. Logan's father and Maddie's father have a connected past, that is the whole catalyst for the things Logan and his brothers have to do their entire lives. When Logan and Maddie meet for the very first time, there is a connection, but when Logan finds out exactly who Maddie is, things take an interesting turn. Maddie pursues Logan and their journey is filled with laughter, tears and some very hot sex, so be warned!! Now, honestly, I was not sure how I was going to like this book because of the criminal aspect. Don't get me wrong, I love bad boys, but when he has a life of stealing cars, I just didn't know what to expect. Well, let me tell you that JS does a really good job of bringing the criminal journey to a close. There is a surprise part that I really was not expecting, it never even crossed my mind, literally blew me away. I really need my books to have HEAs and this one did not disappoint me, I absolutely LOVED it. There is no cliffhanger in this book even though there are going to be 2 more books with Vincent and Jared, Logan's brothers. They are going to be stand alone books. You really want to read this one, especially if you want to understand what I have been talking about, it is so good!! It is Crazy, Beautiful, Love!! I received an ARC of this book for a review.

Okay, I think I'm having a headache here. I started reading this a couple of hours ago. I thought this could be really good but I was wrong... again.

This started out pretty okay. There's something that made me not want to put the book down. The hero is a Martelli and that last name alone had a negative implication all over the town. The family was known to be criminals stealing cars for a living. And the heroine was the mayor's daughter. When their paths crossed, there's forced chemistry. There's almost insta-love and definitely insta-lust going on. I also noticed that there's a "Perfect Chemistry" vibe going on which was written by Simone Elkeles. But this one was chaotic in a bad way.

The writing wasn't organized. The lead characters were always talking and talking. They're always having a conversation but most of the time it was pointless. They were actually like two grade school kids talking when in fact they're both in their twenties. The male character was also annoying! I never thought I'd say that to a hero. Lol! He's so fickle minded! He kept on changing his decisions! Sometimes, I thought he's a girl! Even his POV had no difference from the heroine's. It was exactly the same. I also wished the heroine could have more self-respect. She's so easy to hook up with... not cool, girl! And the hero was always there grabbing the opportunity... what a manwhore!

Overall, it was okay. But I still feel like I wasted my time. I didn't feel any emotions from this one. I was just done reading it... that's it...
