A bit predictable and two separate stories here, boy and girl meet, "dislike" each other but really like each other, get together, live happily ever after. I like a happy ending but things seemed a bit too rushed on both stories as if author had had enough. Not my favourite but a simple easy read

I’m afraid I was disappointed with this book as it was too obvious with no twists at all. I found both characters very frustrating. Sorry

Both stories were a light and amusing read.
I think I'll add that both stories are from the 90ies so they may be slightly different than you may expect from a romance story written nowadays (or not, must saying :)). I don't mind that in general at all, but while I did enjoy them both, at some point the characters started annoying me a little as they were dragging the problems and drama out a bit on the *too much* side.
There were constant communication problems among them, which I understand to a certain extent, but it annoys me a little when a character simply expects the other one to have sudden talents of mind reading and then is upset when they're unable to just *know* what they're supposed to do and how exactly.
It may be a books-from-the-90ies-ish thing, because I remember having read a couple of them waaaaaaay longer ago and this having been quite a constant part of them. That's why I thought I'd mention it.
What was refreshing and different was that in both stories the characters didn't keel over due to love at first sight but first of all had to figure out what they wanted and IF they wanted it and how to adjust, etc.

It's Valentine's weekend, so what better than to curl up with a little romance, courtesy of course by Debbie Macomber. All fans will enjoy, but for those yet to read one of her books, give it a try, you will enjoy!!!
