Death sucks. Especially when it’s camped out in your own front yard. Since moving in with my father four months ago, I’ve learned that everybody here has dark secrets and mine are the darkest of them all. Somebody is out for blood and they won’t stop until everybody I love is dead. I don’t know who to trust anymore. If only I could figure out who is messing with me… before it’s too late. Lines are crossed, lives are taken, and the worst part is that I’ve become the best liar of them all.
Okay, so these books aren't the best that I've ever read. Kihanna can be, frankly, annoying, and the way she interacts with her ex and her current boyfriend as well as her stepbrother... that can be irritating as well. However, I can't seem to stop reading these. D: They're like candy. Quick reads, fast-paced plot (that especially picked up in this one - much faster-paced than the first in the series), and cliffhanger endings (which I normally HATE).
The mystery in I Hate Goodbye really picked up in intensity from book one. As I said in my review of the first book, it wasn't until the last 10% of the book or so that we really got a glimpse of the mystery that the rest of the series apparently revolves around. However, in book two, that's all it was about (with a few minor side tracks that were interesting but not terribly important).
I will admit, this book actually did have me lying in bed last night wondering, "Who is Kihanna's stalker?" - I have a few suspicions but they'd better be wrong or else have a very surprising twist to make them be the right ones, because to me they seem like the only possible suspects... but we'll see.
Would recommend, if you are looking for a book that's quick, relatively interesting, and has a rather morbid mystery to it. Amare really did pick up the pacing in this one and for that I am grateful!! Now... on to book three!! XD
The Kihanna Saga Keeps Getting Better and Better...
I remember roaming through the recommend books on my kindle and stumbling upon the first book in this series. I was immediately in love with it. I couldn't wait for the next one to come out. This one did not disappoint. Kihanna has now adjusted to the rich life that she became familiar with in the first book. She has been hurt and has lost some good people in her life, but it is going to get worse. Kihanna is still getting notes from her stalker(s) and the threats have become higher. Kihanna has to make some hard decisions in order to keep her family and herself safe. This series has become more and more mysterious. I feel like I'm reading a modernized Nancy Drew book! I love it. Follow Kihanna in her journey as she struggles to find out who her stalker is, maintain her relationships with certain people, and discover mysteries you will be dying to know. This has to be my favorite book out of the first two. I truly enjoyed every page of this book. I couldn't put it down. :)
Defiantly deserves 5 stars! Lots of Romance and Suspense this series really keeps you guessing! This is a definite read! I am buying each book as I go. I am amazed at how the author , Mercy Amare, could make a 5 book series just out of this! Is and always will be my favorite series! :-)
Wow, this series just keeps getting better!! What an experience Kihanna, Gabe and Toby are going through. They are on the ultimate crazy ride of their lives. I can't put these books down once I start!! Must read!!
Book 1 and 2 finished in the same day ready to start the next book. The author has done a fantastic job reeling me in and keeping me hook. Perfect amount of drama and suspense! I look forward to checking out more of her work after this series.
I loved book 2 of the Kihanna series. It was just as thrilling as The Fab Life. This story picks up where we left off from book 1. This is a very suspenseful book. It kept me on the edge of my chair the whole time. I bought book 2 from Amazon. I will probably buy all these from Amazon on my kindle. Book 1 was free. I love reading series so this one is just as good as The Rock Star series by Mercy Amare.
Kihanna continues to struggle with adjusting to the life of the Rich and Famous. She ends up losing some people in her life. That she just wasnt ready to lose. Which makes you really sad to read for her. She still recieves not from her stalker. Which is really creepy. He ends up threatening and really spooking her. I have a couple people narrowed down. But my main one I think is Kasbian. He just seems like he would be the stalker. Although it is not revealed in this book. So I may be wrong.
This is definately a book worth reading. The suspense in this is just incredible. It is just as good as book one. This is defiantely a YA book so if your into YA contemporary please pick this up. I completely love this story and I cant wait to read more of this series.

I Hate Goodbye is the second book in The Kihanna Series. After her step-brother gets shot and she kills Nicolas, Kihanna is trying to build her life back up but it doesn't help with her mum dying after she finds out her mum had cancer. Kihanna's stalker is still on the loose and keeps leaving her notes and keeps trying to hurts the ones she loves. I was a bit disappointed that the stalker isn't revealed in this book but i'm hoping it won't be dragged out too long. She has some great allies in Gabe,Ty and Toby, who vow to protect her and try to figure out who is behind it. There is a lot of things that happen in this book and i did find i got more into the story than i did with the first book, The Fab Life. I will be reading book 3, Stranded in Paradise because i'm addicted to finding out who is causing chaos for Kihanna and the people she loves. Very enjoyable book.
This book was ok. I enjoyed reading it, but why do so many words unnecessarily have to be in italics? Really, it was to the point of ridiculous, and it was so distracting. I almost didn't finish it because of the overuse of italics.
I feel like Kihanna's character portrayal is unbelievable, why does everyone love her so much? She comes across as annoying and dumb. The story also feels a little unbelievable, if I had a stalker after me killing people, I wouldn't hesitate to contact the police.
This series also reads very similar to the Keatyn Chronicles, basically identical, just the characters are changed, the storyline is the exact same. Is it just me, it did other people think the same thing?

DUMB! Here are these teenagers that are almost adults with resources and money at their fingertips and they are still naive and just plain dumb. They don't tell any adults who could potentially help for fear that they will get hurt when clearly they are no match for the stalker. The whole book is about a stalker. There is no character growth. There is no resolution. This book ends on a big fat disappointing cliffhanger. This book was not what I was hoping for. It let me down for sure, but I've read all this way not to find out what happens. I guess I'm stuck reading book three.
better than the first. more intense. once again unpredictable. where most suspense drama mystery whatever genre this is usually isn't hard to figure out, this is book two and i have no clue. suspicions a plenty but no concrete villain and it's enough to drive me crazy and have me buying and reading the next book. i'm liking this saga.
though i do find myself asking why the heck they aren't taking this to the cops. Seriously!
Loving this series! Now for my predictions: kasbian and Ty! I think there is also a girl in here somewhere but I'm not sure yet. Kasbian because he has never sat right with me and Ty because the stalker is just trying to get her away from gabe. I cannot wait to read the next book so if you will excuse me :)
Wow..... what a great story. I still don't know who is behind it all but I do have an idea. Kihannas life is getting deadly. and people are dying. notes are being left for her. so what's next? I have no idea but I'm loving it.
This storyline is a who done it with a little romance added. This book is filled with secrets, lies, cheats and death. Kihanna is being tormented by a stalker while trying to figure out the men in her life. Very entertaining book.
There are so many typos and grammar errors, I wonder if an editor read it! Very repetitive still a decent storyline, but needs work. The mystery plot is the only thing keeping me reading the series, the main characters drive me crazy.
I'm finding this to be very "Pretty Little Liars". But, like PLL, I just can't stop. I read this one in less than two hours, which makes me question the page count. Even I don't read 280 pages in <2 hours.
God could this girl handle anything more. Just as you think no it happens to happen again...poor thing. The writing for this book believe it or not is quite innocent so it's ok for say s 12 yr old to read. I like this series so far...
this book was so good. it was very sad in the beginning. Toby make me laugh. this book was a really fast reed for me but i still enjoyed this book. i recommend this book.
Omg I have only read the first quater yet hooked on this one more the the first dying to know what happens with her and gabe I think jakerline is behind this
Definitely worth reading I am glad the whole series has been written already as they really hold my interest and make me look forward to picking it up again
