Alex and friends return to a Wasteland in turmoil...
The Raiders are scattered, the Exiles hunted, and the feuding Vegas gangs plot one another's destruction. Makara, head of the New Angels, has the difficult task of convincing disparate groups to work together before it's too late.
As humanity fights amongst itself, the Great Blight prepares its final onslaught. And at the center of it all, there is a secret that could spell the end of the invasion. It is a revelation only Alex can discover, and it might cost him everything...
I'm Kyle West, author of the Wasteland Chronicles, Xenoworld Saga, Starsea Cycle, and more. I try to write books with lots of action and crazy twists to keep you turning the pages. Every book of mine can be categorized as "science fantasy," blending elements from both genres.
Omg so much stuff happens and it's just very exciting ! It's a very fast read ! You just keep turning the pages because you have to find out what happens next!
That is what I am talking about!!! My boy rode a dragon. A DRAGON!!! WHAT HELL!! this was the best out of the series. I finally got more answers. It's interesting to see what's next.
A very good and enjoyable book in Kyle West's series. In this book the author adds some new twists that include a hard-to-follow relationship between some newish characters. Nevertheless, by the end of the book I was understanding the relationships and looking forward to finding out what happens in the next installment of the series.
This is the fourth book of the Wasteland Chronicles, which is now my favorite book in the series so far. We are introduced to a lot of new reveals that change up the story and our preconceived notions in which direction the plot will go in. While some elements remain predictable, if you are still hanging on to this series you probably don't need any convincing that this book was a lot of fun.
Some random thoughts I would like to share is the character named Grudge. He reminds me of your typical brash and arrogant anime character. I like his angry personality and I hope he will stick around for the rest of the series. Grudge is a bandit lord which runs one of the five gangs that rule over Vegas. This is very similar to the different factions that were presented in the video game Fallout New Vegas: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout...
I give this book four and a half stars, it's becoming a series that will probably be in my top favorites list. It definitely reads a lot better as a series then individual stand alone titles. A lot of loose plot threads are tied together here, which makes reading these individual titles together that much more rewarding.
I would have to say this was my least favorite of the series. It was still good but there was just a lot of info about the higher alien race they are battling, how they evolved, what they believe, what their ultimate goals are for the world etc. It was just a little too out there but once the story progressed past that info dump then it picked right back up. Looking forward to the next book...
Of the books that I have read in this series, this one had a ton going on, but seemed to drag on a bit. "Battle here...turn the corner...Battle here...repeat, repeat, repeat". Felt like a hack 'n slash game of D&D after a while with bits of story in between.
That being said, the story is still interesting and I am excited to read the next installment to see where it goes.
I have never been one to read this genre of books but since I started this series I have been unable to put them down. Kyle is truly a master of fantasy and I love the way he slips in a little religion in the mix. I am definitely a fan!
I can't put these books down. Alex is the character you love. all of his journey keep happening. there is always something happening to the different characters. I can't wait to start book five.
The initial like for this series is fast fading. It is just too unrealistic YA, the ethereal yet warlike devision of 'faith' and by now the cliffhanger endings are just annoying me.
Enjoyed the ongoing saga of the refugee of bunker 108. They've come along way in 3 months and suffered and triumphed. I'm looking forward to the continuation.
I'm finished with Revelation: This series is really starting to come into its own. Slow start but the imagination is striking and I am enjoying the action as well as the attempts at recognizing the importance of humanity
As I continue in the series I find I am being draw deeper into the storyline and it is awesome . I love the characters and feel a kinship with each one. I really like this book and I highly recommend it.
This is the fourth book in the : Wasteland Chronicles Book Series
Wow these books get better and better with each new book . This is one intense read what's gonna happen to our crew I don't know but I can't wait to find out .
It was better than the previous books. Gets a little boring in the middle but gets back on track and finishes good. It reminds me of the spiritual warfare that goes on that we don't see..
Good storyline and I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't annoying that the English is often incorrect. A good editor would have made it a 5 star read.
Now that I've read four books in his "Wasteland Chronicles" series, I've noticed my own pattern of settling into the plot and cruising along, confident in my foresight of events to come in the story.
Four out of four times, Mr. West has gotten me every time.
The fourth installment of the series is called "Revelations," and aptly named. As if we weren't already besieged by the Blights and the Xeno beasts and the threat of the Nova Roman Empire and ruthless Wasteland gangs, now Mr. West takes us into the very heart of the adenovirus itself and the game has upped the stakes even more.
This story will grip you and propel you to a climax that is soon to come. Give this a read! Give the entire series a read!
Another great book in this series. Kyle West just keeps adding more and more twists and turns to this story. I can't seem to read them fast enough. Definitely 5 stars again.
My favourite book in this series so far! As a fan of the Fallout video games, that's what I picture when I read these books. This book included Fallout: New Vegas ;)
