Parallel Journeys: The seeds of our Begining

Rate this book
In the 5th century BC Greek philosopher Anaxagoras hypothesis on life is very radical. He presents the case for panspermia; which is the hypothesis that life exists throughout the Universe, distributed by meteoroids, asteroids, comets and planetoids. Remarkable for an ancient right? What if he was just sharing what he already knew to be true? What if he was a descendant of such life spreading molecules?

There is so much to say, and even more to regret. If I were to tell you that you are not of this planet and that your true origins lie in a galaxy far away what would you do? What if I were to tell you that your Gods were men? What if everything you ever knew about your world, your faith, and your reality were all not of this realm? That your meager existence is predicated on the happenstance of an exploding moon, that became a comet, that smashed into Mars and later your planet some 700 million years ago.

My name is Zion Rivers and my time here is ending. I have traveled this planet for over 300 years in search of members of our dying race. There is none after me for I am the last in a long line of Feira Grandmasters given the task to unite these direct descendants in a call to action against evil one last time. Intriguing is it not?

These are the stories that launched Are there no more Dragon Warriors and Better Off Dead.

When I was much younger, my father told great tales of heroes and villains all throughout my youth. The stories resonated with me as I began to write my own at age 11. It never occurred to me to share any of the hundreds of stories in my head with anyone other than my comic art instructor Mr. Charles Ferguson at the HS of Art and Design. That is until 2011. My daughters have always been intrigued by the stories I would share of my youth, and asked if I would ever write them down? I decided this was a good idea, so in March of 2011 I began to write; I haven’t stopped.

A great read with a spiritual twist. Parallel Journeys is the prequel to "Are there no more Dragon Warriors? book one".

This book has a lot of twists that will keep you entertained, along with the spiritual references that will keep you hooked.

The only issue that I had with this book is the cover. I love the image, don't get me wrong. However, the image does not do the story justice. I feel this story needs something brighter and warrior like to meet the expectations of what to expect within the story.

James Lee Nathan III weaves a spell with his signature style. His characters are memorable and his stories are very imaginative. A road trip you won't soon forget.
