Grumpy Billionaire Boss Protector:  On her way to her wedding, Mia receives a text with an attachment exposing her fiance and a bridesmaid intimately involved.  She demands the driver stop the car and she runs for it.  She bumps into someone and they both fall over.  He offers her a ride once he realizes what happened.  She moves out of her shared apartment, sells her car and gets her own place...then looks for a new job away from the traitors.  She gets one of the internships and ends up working with her rescuer, Carter.  Things are tense between them but they are attracted to each other.  Meanwhile, her ex wants her back and does not think he did anything wrong!   Mia becomes a valuable member of the staff, while the ex keeps trying to sabotage her.  Things evolve and Carter ends up involved trying to protect her from the ex's petty revenge.  The two guilty parties keep trying to destroy her but they had not counted on Carter!  I could not put this book down, anxious to find out their next moves and started cheering when the final payback worked out!  Yes, the gift that kept on giving!

The author did such a great job with this book. Mia is such a strong character and she sticks to her guns. She’s about to get married and as she’s in the car, she gets a text from a private number of a man and a woman being intimate. She’s about to close the video when she hears his name….the man she’s about to marry. Better yet, the woman in the video is someone in the wedding party. The runaway bride gets out of the car and as she’s running thru the streets she knocks into Carter. He saves the day. He drives her around and protects her from that day forward. He takes Mia to meet her best friend and then leaves. Neither can get the other out of their mind however, They don’t exchange any info but as fate would have it, they end up seeing eachother when Mia is being interviewed for a new job.

Carter and Mia meet on the worst day of her life. On her way to her wedding, Mia receives a video call with her soon to be husband in a compromising position with one of her bride's maids. Instead of going through with the wedding she runs away literally falling into Carter. It starts their journey. Carter takes her situation and turns it into a new movie and Mia is hired as a new intern to work with him. This story is heartfelt and had me in their corner from start to finish.

When she sees a disturbing video on her wedding day Mia flees . Straight into the arms of her boss Carter , not that she meant to and it was literal with the arms , but Carter comes through for her and she can trust him at least even if he is a grumpy ass … lovely refreshing read , beautifully written and good description with solid back stories

Protecting Her from Her Ex

What a fun and exciting story full of surprises, banter and craziness. Carter and Mia have a working relationship that turns into something more intimate when he is determined to protector from her ex and his antics. The chemistry between Carter and Mia is hot and steamy as well as sweet. This was a fantastic story.

Delightful

WOW! I really enjoyed this book and it will easily make you smile. The chemistry between the two characters is powerful with compelling romance. The characters are excellent which makes it a beautiful story. I even enjoyed all of the secondary characters their friendships are amazing. The story is fantastic and when you add in the drama along with their emotions about their love then you have their happy ever after tale that's truly delightful."

Mia needed a lot of protecting. She left her horrible, cheating fiancé at the altar. Her runaway scene was pretty epic once she met Carter. From then on, he had to keep playing whack-a-mole every time her awful ex or the woman he cheated with reared their ugly heads and souls to do harm to Mia. Carter was the sweetest knight in shining armor. Great story. Sweet and spicy.

What a great story! I loved that Michael gets his comeuppance! I love the banter between the characters and I love the storyline.

I enjoy reading this book. The author had me captivated from the start. Strong female character that survived a broken heart with the help of a very protective male character. The chemistry between Mia and Carter is remarkable. Glad that the runaway bride that got her HEA!
