This book provides over a hundred lessons for life derived from the Qur’an for the 21st century Muslim. It will have succeeded in its effort if this book helps Muslims understand their religion better so that they become better Muslims. The lessons in this book are meant to be powerful words of advice to Muslims who find themselves at a certain situation in their lives, the direct words of advice from Allah are quoted by quoting the Qur’an, and provide with an interpretation and an explanation to make it easier for the modern day Muslim to understand and use this advice practically.

Fantastic book. Some readers might be deluded by the title, but this book basically outlines what a proper Muslim should do during the highs and lows of life. The style with which this book is written in is very captivating and somewhat entertaining. The writer provides some life lessons from the life-story of Prophet Yusuf. Many can gain important lessons from this book and should not read it as a means of passing time. It does deal with very important topics of modern life. I hope the readers can gain knowledge and take lessons from the pages of this book and that Allah makes it easy for them. In the end, what are you prepared to give up for the One you believe in?
As a whole, this book is a beneficial and compact guide for Muslims to establish a basic understanding of their own spirituality.
My only criticism is that the book was clearly written with a Young Male audience in mind. There are multiple instances where the author advices the reader within the latter context . Clearly the author is writing from his experience as a man himself; writing what he knows, which is understandable.
But I do wish there was a more gender encompassing approach to some of the advice that is outlined in the book.
The Noble Qur'an has innumerable lessons, a handful of which can be found in this self help book. The author has neatly presented them in a style that's clear, concise and relevant.
