Ridge is a engineer, very focused and goal oriented. He has a list and he sticks to it. Cross one thing off, add ten more. His life is steadfast and predictable. Until he meets Ava. She's a real estate agent, fighting to regain her confidence after a jerk ripped her to pieces. Her past, coupled with the way her ex dumped her, makes her self-esteem shaky at best. Until she meets Ridge. The two, thanks to their meddling younger sisters, end up stranded for a week in a lake cabin with no phone, no car and no way to get home. Ridge and Ava get to know each other and the chemistry between them is hot. He tries to help her regain her confidence and she tries to get him to see that sometimes, being spontaneous has its rewards. I love this story. Its sweet and sexy at the same time. It really is about learing to let go and learning to trust, and you find yourself cheering them on in their endeavors. I love Ridge and Ava!

Ridge he's such a typical guy, "I found her bent over, putting groceries on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator, and I caught myself smiling. "I didn't mean for you to put the groceries up," I said, although I certainly had no complaints." Ava that girl has balls and I loved her courage, determination, and strength, "you don't want a relationship with me because you need to give all your attention to your list?" Ridge he's a protective sort, "he sighed. "I really want to kick his a**. I know he was an a**hole. I just didn't realize to what extent." I hope other characters get their own story especially Mason that sexy beast of a man!

Loved this book!
two people not looking for love or a relationship each with their own issues to work through. Throw together in a cabin set up by their nosy sisters plan to set them up.
Ridge is a control freak if you ask me has everything in his life planned out and a relationship did not fit in his plans.
Ava has had unexpected things happen to her it makes her want to live life to its fullest.
the last thing Ridge wants is a relationship
Ava doesnt need a man breaking her heart.
I loved this story how different they are yet still very much alike. she is determined and he is stubborn.
a few times you really want to slap Ridge lol but i loved this book its a must read.

Ava a strong, determined and very capable girl of doing everything on her own. She does not need pity and is quite stubborn when accepting anyone's help. She is also very kind hearted and is in need of getting away to clear her head. She needs time to get over an ex who has made her doubt herself and believe she isn't worthy of love.
Ridge a very meticulous and set in his ways kind of guy. He has a strict regimen he follows to a "T" and nothing will deter him from it. Ridge wanders through life crossing things off a list instead of living life to the fullest. Ava is the one thing Ridge did not see coming and love is most definitely not on his list.
Both of their sisters' are Bffs' with their hearts in the right place when trying to play matchmaker. These two end up in the same place at the same time and at first it doesn't go quite so smoothly but it's shortly sorted out and they both find themselves spending time together. They get to know one another and find they have many things in common and soon feelings start to develop. The problem is one wants more now and the other won't admit they want the same thing.
Doubts arise for both parties. One wants it all while the other still wants to follow a list. Will these two ever admit their real feelings for each other? Can these two even make it work knowing they want different things in life at the moment? You know you want to find out... Buy a Copy TODAY!!

Suzannah has done it again! Another book I could NOT put down! This was a sweet little love story about learning to love yourself and learning to let others love you in return. What I took away from this story was that sometimes what we may see as flaws in ourselves is often what others find amazing about us. That even though we may doubt ourselves, we may be the encouragement or inspiration for someone else in the world.

What happens when your sister throws you in a cabin with a girl & neither of you know that any one else is there. Including each other. As Ridge & Ava get to know each other things happen. Can they start a ratio ship & how mad are they at their sisters
