Jonas and Hannah made this book a complete 5 stars :) The heroine, Hannah, was such a delightful, enthusiastic, pure hearted girl that stayed true to character through out the whole book. I loved her spunk, positive outlook and determination. Jonas was one of my favorite types of heroes. A Resistor. He tried and tried to resist her love, almost took him too long to open his eyes (and heart) but it was a sweet story getting there. I am normally 100% against any make-believe, fantasy, magic in my books... by Kathleen Kane has such a fun, light-hearted way to incorporate it into her stories and it seems to work every time for me. If I could change anything... I would have loved to have seen the romance be a bit steamier. Ok, a lot steamier, then it would have been a keeper :)

Hannah is a crappy witch, but her bloodlines are THE best. When evil warlock Blake Wolcott comes to town and starts sucking the power out of the residents, weakening the Guild, Hannah's aunt desperately searches for the missing clan leader, who disappeared when he was five years old.

Jonas Mackenzie is a Wyoming rancher with 'luck' unparalleled... although he thinks his luck ran out when a beautiful but crazy Easterner named Hannah shows up insisting he has to marry her right away. She's addle-brained and seemed to think she has magical powers... and maybe she does, what with the way she's getting under his unflappable skin.

Jonas doesn't know he's got magic. He doesn't know that Wolcott is coming, both to take Hannah (and her Lowell bloodline power) and to wipe the Mackenzie out of existence, taking HIS power, too. Can Hannah convince him of what he is, and what is coming, before it's too late?

I own this one. It's my 'Halloween' read. It's phenomenal... and has a few twists I left out, JUST to make it even better when you read it. Which... you really should!

A historical romance with witches, warlocks and magic. Does it work? Pretty much.
Hannah travels to Montana to marry a powerful warlock in order to save their town from an evil warlock. Problem is that Jonas, the cowboy Jonas in Montana knows nothing of her, of magic or of his powers and doesn't want to know. Which of these two stubborn people will win? Well, you'll have to read it to find out.
If you like enjoy romance novels, you're sure to enjoy this one.

Cute story, but I did not care for the ending. sure, she gets the cowboy, but, without giving the ending away, she has been lied to almost her entire life, and no matter the ending, that's not a good thing.

This book was boring. I don't mind suspending my disbelief in a fantasy story, but this story was just to silly.
