En rå bog om at blive ført rundt i krig, og stadig ende med at være den utilpassede, man også var som ung. Om at belyse noget, og bruge mørkelygten andetsteds for ikke at huske for meget.

Quite intriguing first person account from experiences during WWII, first as an SS volunteer, and later 'on the other side of the fence' in several German concentration camps. Really displays the meaninglessness and randomness that often plays a major role in war. Who lives and who dies? It is mostly a question of random events and coincidences that seal your fate.
